Beautiful location for those who love absolute tranquility. The house is well equipped, but it is very dusty. It needs a thorough refresh. In our opinion, it is not worth the normal asking price of 900 euros per week.

Very sweet people. Was a vase of fresh flowers, and there was a bottle of delicious wine and a pack of juice in the fridge. Only the house was cleaned with the French blow. Also the mattress of the cot was very dirty. The little one did not fall asleep. Furthermore, a lot of broken things. Chairs umbrellas and the outside table. (A shame because the house was perfect) a nice windfall was the lovely swimming pool behind the house 10x5 meters.

Friendly welcome from the owner, who - despite the fact that he was quite ill - made every effort to ensure that we had a great holiday. We were also able to use the large swimming pool of the neighboring house for 5 weeks. Great with grandchildren during the warm summer time! The house itself is very attractive, but needs some renovation. Beds are reasonable. The area is wonderfully quiet, next to the house a meadow where horses ran (nice for the grandchildren) and around the house a large grassland, where one evening even a few deer ran! Smaller groceries do well in Villefranche, supermarchées in Fumel.

We were greeted enthusiastically by the French owner. A bottle of wine was ready and a bowl of tomatoes from his garden. The house was great. Even more beautiful than on the site. You could sit outside in the sun and in the shade. A house with lots of privacy and a lovely set-up bath to cool off. The village is close and cozy. It is a lively village. Furthermore, you have to drive a bit more for other nice places.

Upon arrival, we were kindly assisted by the owner (who, incidentally, only speaks French) and guided around the old French farmhouse. What a fantastic view and what a lovely large garden and a nice pool! We also managed to keep the house reasonably cool at temperatures well above 30 degrees. During the week we got some fresh vegetables from our own garden from the owner and the quality of the water from the pool was always checked (early in the morning). Not intrusive, but good to know. The environment is beautiful. Just for a nice drive through nature and past medieval villages (villefranche du perigord, Besse or Monpazier). There are many impressive castles to visit on the Dordogne. And oh yes wifi was not really a loss in the house. 4G reception (Orange) was excellent!

We had not looked at the route sufficiently and did not use tomtom. Then very hard to find. But nice help from the owner after a call. Nice, quiet place and a spacious house. But especially on the terrace, which was a very big part of the success of this stay.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet and no car "s so children can walk without problems or biking around the house. Owners are very friendly and always accessible if there is a problem or question.
