Résidence Rêve d'’île is located on the beautiful peninsula Ile de Ré, around 19 km from the historic town of La Rochelle.
Facilities in this resort include a reception, a heated outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool (open until the end of September; weather dependent), sun terraces with loungers, a gym, sauna, Turkish bath (fees apply) and a laundrette. Parking space for one car near the house.
The island is perfect for holidaymakers who like nature, the coast and picturesque coastal towns, as well as peace and quiet. Very suitable for families, too. The island is reached by a 3 km long toll bridge from La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime).
Résidence Rêve de l’île is situated in the southern part of the island, in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, close to restaurants, bars and various shops. The town centre of harbour town La Rochelle is 17 km away.
Ile de Ré is famous for its historic villages - it has no less than 10! -its white houses, interesting markets, beautiful beaches and dunes, unspoiled natural areas (including a bird reserve), walks and stunning cycling lanes (at least 100 km). The tides of the Atlantic Ocean add to the real island feeling.
