This little village is the centre of Grande Champagne, the premier cru of the Cognac region. With its many vineyards, it's is a great area for hiking. If you are interested in learning how Cognac is made then the 'Université des Eaux-de-Vie' is well worth a visit. Towns worth visiting in the area include Poitiers and the port city of La Rochelle. The holiday island of Île de Ré is also close by. There's a tennis court 2km away and you'll find a supermarket and restaurant 1km from here.

we spent a wonderful week in the apartment and the beautiful garden. it is perfectly clean and all facilities are in very good condition. There is also a whirlpool by the pool, where you can relax. It is a site with two apartments attached to the house. there is a view of the vineyards and on the other side of the hills in the distance. and most importantly, your privacy is guaranteed. there is plenty to do in the area, and a visit to a cognac house should of course not be missed. the dutch owners are very nice and very good hosts.
