Montauroux has an authentic atmosphere, nestled up against hills, which charms everyone. The nearest retaurants to enjoy local cuisine lie at 2 km. You have the supermarkets at 1.5 km. In case you wish to have fun, the beach resorts of Cannes and Fréjus & Saint-Raphaël are 25 km away. Water sports enthusiasts can visit Lac Saint-Cassien, about 4 km away.
From the kitchen and living room, you have direct access to the terrace with a lounge set and gas BBQ. You can linger for hours here and enjoy the evenings with sizzling snacks. The garden is completely enclosed so that children and pets can play around safely here. Larger lake with pleasant swimming opportunities and beaches at 5 min. by car. Quiet dead-end street with new houses. The first impression is fine. The house is easy to find and is located in a just dead end street with parking spaces at the end. The house and garden look neat. The pool is very nice and very clean, beds for everyone. The lounge furniture is outdated and worn here and there, are also pretty hard. Nice large terrace table and good lighting. Inside, the house is spacious, but due to the many personal items it is reasonably full and busy. The decor is somewhat old-fashioned but comfortable. The beds are neat and reasonably comfortable. There is plenty of closet space. The bathroom is neat with a nice rain shower but very tight, especially for the tall Dutch man! The kitchen is nice, well equipped and has a large American fridge. In the pantry there is an extra fridge, extra crockery and the washing machine and dryer. The service is spacious, but large drinking glasses are missing. The extra crockery in the pantry is not very clean. Great place as a base for trips to for example Montauroux, Grasse and Antibes. Large supermarket and bakery nearby, less than 10 minutes drive.

Inside the house was very well maintained and clean. Everything was provided.Outside many problems parking on the domain was full with an old car from the owner. Gate was broken. So parking on the street. Entrance gate was also broken (so special lock must buy) Pool was not cleaned and green of the algae. Barbecue on gas did not work. Etc .... The holiday home in Montauroux is spacious with a beautiful garden, a nice, fairly large swimming pool and you have a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. It is very quiet there. It is in a street with other detached houses, but most of the time you only hear the birds. We were there for 3 weeks. The first week was beautiful weather, the second and third week very warm, with 33 gr and 34 gr. Fortunately, there is always shade somewhere in the garden, only between 4 pm. and 6.30 p.m. not for a while, only for the garage doors. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms, but in the living room. There were fans in the bedrooms, which helped somewhat, and the windows could also be safely left open, but air conditioning would have been nicer. What came as a surprise to us was that the owners, who live in the house if they don't rent it out themselves, came by twice or even 3 times a week to water the plants outside and the fish in the aquarium in the living room. state to enter. Although they were friendly people and certainly not intrusive, we did not always find that pleasant. The house is close to the highways, so trips are easy to make. On foot you can go to the commercial center which is more than a km. away, where there is a good bakery, and nearby some good restaurants that are certainly not too expensive.

Downstairs there is air conditioning, on the first floor there is none. of the bedrooms there is mobile ventilation. Luckily we had two of our own fans. Reception was super friendly, everything was explained, we immediately had access to all equipment (gas BBQ, washing machine, dryer, ...), we were allowed to call for everything, they could have been there within half an hour. We already felt at home right away.
