The very extensive parklike plot is embedded in coniferous forest and olive groves. Even in great heat always a light wind, which was very pleasant. The spacious villa offers enough space for several families. We lived in the house with 6 adults and 3 small children.Four things make the house particularly atraktiv1. The two covered terraces where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning and enjoy the sun in the morning. From there you have also the pool in the field of view! The many rooms in the house allow for optimal use even with several families. From the upper rooms, which all have a large balcony, you can see the sea! With a group of 10 friends we spent a week in this fantastic house in Costa Brava! The villa is located in the very small, picturesque, cozy village of Romanya De La Selva, a fifteen minute drive from the coast, the local supermarkets and with enough excursions in the neighborhood (Barcelona 70 min drive, Girona 30 min.). Those looking for peace, quiet and nature can find this here! Arriving at the villa, a very friendly lady is waiting for us to introduce us to the property with a guided tour. The garden was perfectly maintained, the grass is watered every so many hours, resulting in a beautiful, green lawn that surrounds the swimming pool. The fence and trees close the garden nicely, which also provides enough shade at the hot temperatures in the summer. From morning to evening the sun shines over the garden, swimming pool and the terrace with a beautiful evening sun. The house has been completely adapted to accommodate large groups (10 people). So you have outside a large parking lot where several cars can park, large rooms, 3 bathrooms each with a bath, shower and toilet, a large living space both inside and outside. Outside you can use a large barbecue, which creates a cozy atmosphere when the sun is down. During the day you can enjoy the spacious garden, perfect for children, and of course the clean, very nice pool! Furthermore, everything was very well maintained (new oven and dishwasher) and the interior felt very homely. With 10 friends we had an unforgettable holiday here and we did not have a bad word about this beautiful villa, so this is definitely recommended. If we had to summarize our holiday in 1 word it will certainly be 'great', made possible by the owners!

The house was only moderately cleaned. BBQ was not cleaned. Rest okay.

We were very well received by Astrid. The accommodation and the surroundings we found very nice and quiet location. One downside: the presence of ants in the kitchen and master bedroom (we solved with ant boxes but maybe add tiles in the kitchen better sealing)

We had an excellent holiday. The house was great. The garden, the pool and the house itself are super good maintained.The view is lovely and there are nice hiking trails in the area. The shops and the beach are a bit further away, but we had no problems; we could strike enough, because the refrigerator is large enough and the beach was crowded anyway.

Place is nice with simple tapas bar and luxury restaurant within walking distance (the latter must be booked well in advance for dinner). The beach and shops are 15 minutes by car. Various walking routes can be started from the villa. The disadvantage is that in very hot weather (which we had) it is very difficult to cool all rooms somewhat. Living room and two bedrooms have air conditioning. Too bad that our outdoor shower was broken. We can confirm nuisance from ants. Really everything from sweets should be in the fridge and not leave a crumb in the sink. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed with our family (7 adults and 2 year old toddler)!

Around the house there is ample parking. The house was clean and after a fleeting reception we could enjoy the beautiful clean pool. Outside it is lovely with a spacious veranda and BBQ. The location is very quiet, about 15 minutes by car are shops / restaurants / beach etc. Barcelona is about 75 minutes away (we have done a bike tour there, highly recommended). But there are also some minus pointsThe house is very dated !! Beds are on the small side. The decor / finish is really no longer of this time.Prijs / quality I find not quite proportionate. The quiet location has advantages, but just get sandwiches or somewhere to drink is at least a quarter of an hour in the car sitting down.Withing the negatives, we had a wonderful holiday with our family!

We have a wonderful week spent in this house with two families with 4 adults and 6 children (ages 3-9). Plenty of room in the house to spend a holiday in a combination of joint and separate through. Nice and neat decoration of the house and well maintained with good wifi. Lovely beautiful garden with lots of space. From the balcony you can see the sea. Especially the rest was us. This also meant that there were no people suffered from us as our kids were playing in the pool. Great places in the neighborhood to visit including Palamos. Also visit Barcelona is doable. Do not forget to visit Girona. Very nice place and very close.
