Good place for a group! Enough space for everyone and even a cozy fireplace. I liked that we could bring our dog. The location is relaxing, close to nature and not far from Barcelona for a day trip. The only thing to note is that the WiFi was sometimes a bit unstable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is peaceful, but close enough to the city center for shopping. The provided playpen for our little one was a thoughtful gesture. We would love to come back in the summer!

It was a holiday to remember! The house that smells like the distant past with well chosen furniture, real Spanish / Catalaans.Na dinner, sitting on a bench on Placa Major, gave us the idea to have found the real Spain. Lovely to look at the people who live around the square and in the afternoon came together to chat. An old couple that daily several times to the square walk on the advice of the doctor. The village is very mild. In the area there are plenty of wineries to visit. Plenty of restaurants in the radius of 4 km. The beach of Vila Nova il Getru is a must, wide beach, plenty of parking, many (fish) restaurants. Finally, Josep and Maria, the owners / managers, who made a great impression on us; friendly, cordial and hulpvaardig.De last night of the holiday we were invited to dine with them. This was also the beginning of La Fiesta Major that is held every year in the village. That night was intended for young people with a very good orchestra / band that played to 07, 00 hours in the morning. It is also a great base: near Barcelona (easily reached by train from Villafranca), near the beach and near the most beautiful vineyards and estates in the region. We met up with friends from the US and they were bowled over by how nice and typical Spainish the house was. You need to mind your head when you arrive on the stairs up to the top floor as the roof is low at a couple of points. Plenty to do in the area around the village but parking in Vilafranca is a nightmere. If you are going into Barcelona, don't even think of taking the car the train is excellent and so cheap, 5 people for 22.85 euro return! Landlord of the property was a very nice guy and made sure that we were comformable during our stay, couldn't have wished for better.

The owners are incredibly friendly and cooperative. They have given the house a personal touch, which really appealed to us. It was also very clean in the house. Those who love silence and "real" are in the right place here. Only downside; the mosquitoes. As a result, we were unable to throw all windows and doors to the heat in the evening or in the morning. People from the square didn't seem to be bothered by the way. Nice beaches within driving distance; cala de Mora, Cala fonda and also Vilanova I G. has a great beach.

From here easy visits to bring to Barcelona, u200bu200bbeaches, every morning fresh bread Bakker outside the village. The host and hostess are always open for questions. Clean towels, sheets etc. are present. They would still have our crops but with a washing machine in the house we have just done it. The pictures on the website can sometimes be adjusted. They give hardly reflect how the house actually is ... Much bigger than the picture "s, spacious bathrooms, cozy rooms. Overall we have a wonderful stay. Hint: visit also the human towers (Castellars) in Vila Franca, they train every Wednesday evening. Well take a table reservation .. .

A fairly large hapening including games for kids and vuurwerk.In village weing to no tourists. The area is uberhaupt not very touristy. Fine beaches nearby (20 km), Barcelona (40 km) and Tarragona (50 km) excellent bereisbaar.Wij were invited by the owner (lives downstairs) and had dinner there. The region is known for z 's wines and "Cava" (kind of champagne) and in the interior there are nice trails and charming villages. Few people (except the owner) speak another language outside Spaans.De owners certainly have them tried to create a nice atmosphere in the house and that was successful. Unaffected by many others rust.Kleine supermarket about 1 km. larger place and thus fully equipped about 4 km.

This was also the beginning of La Fiesta Major that is held every year in the village. We (a family with 3 small children) enjoyed a very nice week in El Raco. Very nice and authentic apartment, much nicer and more spacious than on the website. It is also a great base: near Barcelona (easily reached by train from Villafranca), near the beach and near the most beautiful vineyards and estates in the region. The friendly host pleased to help you (or in Spanish), including a bottle of chilled cava.

Very cozy house located on a small lovely square. Cottage is old but charming. The rest of the neighborhood is fairly new and therefore a bit more uncomfortable in terms of appearance. The owners are incredibly friendly and cooperative. They have given the house a personal touch, which really appealed to us. It was also very clean in the house. Those who love silence and "real" are in the right place here. Only downside; the mosquitoes. As a result, we were unable to throw all windows and doors to the heat in the evening or in the morning. People from the square didn't seem to be bothered by the way. Nice beaches within driving distance; cala de Mora, Cala fonda and also Vilanova I G. has a great beach.
