Description
This family-friendly accommodation is located in the Vendrell Platja holiday complex. The complex is located on the beautiful Costa Dorada, which is characterised by long, gently sloping sandy beaches between the two towns of Calafell and Comarruga. The resort is not only close to the sea, it is also very well located for a trip to the Port Aventura theme park, making it ideal for families. The holiday complex offers entertainment for guests of all ages. The children's pool with its three slides, the wide range of activities, games, sports and fun in the mini club and the playground ensure that young guests never get bored. Teenagers also get their money's worth in the teen club. The entertainment programme for adults and the various sports activities on offer provide fun and entertainment for adult guests. Wifi can be used free of charge. The resort has a pool area, a restaurant with take-away service and a beach club directly on the beach, a supermarket, a shop for souvenirs and beach and camping articles, coin-operated washing machines and dryers and a gameroom for bad weather days.
The beautiful, comfortable and modern Mobilehome Roller offers space for a maximum of 5 people (including at least 1 child up to a maximum of 12 years). The accommodation consists of a master bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds. The sofa bed in the living area offers additional sleeping space. The living area has a well-equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, a 4-burner hob, a microwave, a coffee machine and a fridge with freezer compartment. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, hairdryer and washbasin, the WC is separate. The seating area with table and chairs, two sun loungers and a small garden invites you to relax in comfort, while the children can let off steam by the pool or in the playground. Air conditioning and satellite TV are included. Bed linen and towels are also included. If required, a baby cot and/or high chair can be hired for a small deposit (please reserve when booking). A car park right next to the accommodation is included in the price. Barbecues allowed (charcoal). Travelling time from the Spanish border approx. 2.5 hours. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same house type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 06.07.-06.09.2024 the arrival and departure day is Saturday and Tuesday, the minimum length of stay is 7 nights. In the period from 01.06.-05.07.2024, arrival and departure is possible daily, the minimum stay is 7 nights. In the remaining period, arrival and departure is possible daily, the minimum stay is 4 nights. Please note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the scheduled day of arrival, it is of course also possible to check in on the following day (please let us know before you arrive). The same applies if you wish to depart earlier. Departure the day before is also possible in this case. However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH
The beautiful beach with its fine sand is just a stone's throw from the holiday complex. The beach is shallow and the sea is very calm, making it ideal for families with small children. For sporty guests, there is a beach volleyball court and water scooters are available for hire. The beach club, which is part of the holiday complex, is open from June to September and offers the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing dip and relax. In the evening, it provides a wonderful setting to end the day with a refreshing drink at sunset.
POOL
The holiday complex has two pools, one for adults and one for children. The children's pool has 3 great slides and water games for fun. In addition, on Wednesdays in high season, the inflatable slides and other elements at the aqua party make children's hearts beat faster. Around the pool there is a large sun terrace with sunbeds and parasols, which are available free of charge for relaxation. Lifeguards ensure safety every day. The entertainment team organises activities such as aquagym and water polo in the pool.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
A multilingual entertainment team organises games, workshops, treasure hunts, mini disco and sports activities to keep young guests aged 4 - 11 entertained. There is also a playground available. Teenagers aged 9 - 15 benefit from all kinds of sporting activities, various competitions and tournaments, such as a Play Station tournament, at the Teen Club. For adults, the entertainment team also offers a wide range of activities such as cookery and dance classes as well as competitions and sports activities. Entertainment is provided in the evenings with shows.
LEISURE AND SPORT
Those who want to keep active on holiday are spoilt for choice here: football, basketball, paddle tennis, petanque, table tennis and beach volleyball can be practised, and the entertainment team also organises tournaments in these sports. The fitness club offers various courses such as step, aquagym or stretching classes, as well as joint cycling or jogging excursions. Beach volleyball can be played on the beach and water scooters can be hired.
SHOPPING
The holiday village has its own supermarket and bakery, so you can enjoy freshly baked bread every day. The supermarket has a wide range of everyday items, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and sausages, frozen products, chilled drinks and a wide selection of wines. Right next to the supermarket you will find the souvenir shop and kiosk, where you can buy national and international newspapers and magazines as well as beach, camping and sports articles.
CATERING
The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, cooker, microwave, coffee machine and fridge with freezer compartment. Shopping facilities are also close by. The restaurant right next to the pool serves a wide range of dishes. Guests can sample the chef's speciality, his delicious paella, both indoors and on the terrace. The take-away service allows you to enjoy salads, pizzas, roast chicken and much more in the comfort of your own accommodation. In high season, the beach club on the beach offers snacks, simple meals and various refreshments.

A travel cot and/or high chair can be hired if required for a small deposit of €30 each (please reserve when booking). A doctor can be visited in the complex by appointment. There is a weekly market in Calafell every Tuesday.

LOCATION
The holiday complex is located right next to the beach and is therefore ideal for families with small children. The holiday complex is located between the two towns of Calafell and Comarruga, which means that you will find a wide range of shops, nightlife options and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You can reach the lively town of Calafell by taking a pleasant stroll along the seafront promenade. If you get hungry, you can enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many bars, restaurants or cafés overlooking the sea.
TOWN AND SURROUNDINGS
Calafell is a lively coastal town located in the north of the Costa Dorada. Picturesque villages, delicious food, beautiful gently sloping beaches, crystal-clear water and, of course, the sun make the Costa Dorada a popular holiday destination. Everyone gets their money's worth on the Costa Dorada. Not only sun worshippers, but also party lovers, hikers, mountain bikers and culture vultures will find everything their hearts desire here. The nightlife is also excellent! The medieval castle of Sant Creu towers above Calafell and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding area. A typical weekly market takes place every Tuesday in the centre of Calafell and offers you the opportunity to buy a great souvenir. The coastal town is an ideal starting point for numerous excursions in the surrounding area. The 700-metre-long Calafell Slide summer toboggan run is a thrilling ride. Water lovers can take a trip to the nearby Aqualeon water park. Hours will fly by on the various slides or in the wave pool. Young and old alike can put their skills to the test in the Diver rope park. After so much fun and entertainment, a refreshment in one of Calafell's many beach bars or restaurants is more than deserved. Tarragona was once made the capital of the province of Hispania citerior by the Romans. The remains of this period can now be marvelled at as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A day trip offers you the opportunity to visit the Roman amphitheatre, the aqueduct of les Ferreres, the Circus and the Roman Forum. So even on holiday, culture is not neglected. Those looking for pure thrills and adrenaline, on the other hand, will get their money's worth at the Port Aventura amusement park. Spain's largest amusement park boasts the highest and fastest roller coaster in Europe. For Ferrari fans, the associated Ferrari Land theme park has been offering everything your heart desires since 201'7. After so much action, a relaxing stroll through the beautiful seaside resort of Sitges with its 17 beaches is just what you need. We also recommend Barcelona as a day trip. The vibrant metropolis captivates visitors with its countless sights, wide range of restaurants and numerous shopping opportunities. Stroll along the Rambla, enjoy the magnificent view of the city and the sea from Montjuic (accessible by cable car) or explore Park Güell, designed by Antonio Gaudí. As you stroll through the city, you will discover Gaudí's unique architecture time and again and, of course, a visit to the city's landmark, the Sagrada Familia, is a must. This cathedral, begun by Gaudí, is still under construction and offers the marvelling eye an impressive variety of details and architectural styles. At Barcelona Zoo, it's not just children's eyes that light up when they see the many animal species. Lions, tigers, elephants, gorillas, dolphins and much more can be discovered here.
