The area is very quiet, but in 15 to 20 km you can find the crowds. There is very little to do in the village of Parcent. Very nice hiking trails in the area.

From the Netherlands traveled by car, we were well received by host Mieke, everything was taken care of. The 2nd week fell a lot of rain, which caused the flow to go out for a long time. Host Mieke immediately called an electrician and half of the electricity did not turn out to be the only garden lighting. Perhaps a tip for the owners vh house, the garden lighting should be replaced so that rainfall does not cause a short circuit. Swimming pool temperature was fine 29grd, and also the sunbeds and garden furniture in good condition. We will definitely come back here again. The tranquility, the location between the beautiful mountains it is highly recommended! Also, be sure to go to the top of the mountain looking out from the villa, which is breathtakingly beautiful overlooking the valley. Places +/- 25km from Parcent are Moraira, Denia and Javea which is definitely worth a visit.

Very nice cozy homely villa. Nice garden and nice view of the mountains. If you are looking for peace and quiet then you are in the right place here. Pool was good size and necessary given the heat. The heat was actually the only downside. Because it was so hot we could not take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Maybe we'll come back again in another season.

Very nice house with beautiful pool in a nice and quiet omgeving.Dorp Parcent has a number of bars, some simple restaurants and a supermarket.From the house you walk there in fifteen minutes to toe.Op 10 minutes rows is Orba where a fairly large Massymass is a supermarket with a good butcher and fresh fish department.Bedroom has a good working air conditioning and good beds.House is for a holiday home cozy and there is Dutch TV. Wifi worked fine both in the house and in the tuin.Keuken is well equipped, plenty of cutlery, plates, dishes edPrima showers with lots of hot water and waterdruk.Garden and pool are well maintained, beautiful palm trees and flowers.In the morning you can there See squirrels and many cozy sparrows, wagtails and swallows all day long. Put a bowl of water down and the sparrows will be grateful of drink.Op the pictures is not good to see that the pergola in the BBQ is now overgrown with a wisteria so you can sit in the shade in the afternoon. There is both a gas and a charcoal BBQ. The swimming pool runs almost immediately to the deep is therefore less suitable for children who can not swim well. Tip you come from the north / Valencia stop on the way at Ondara, there is a huge Carrefour where you can do all the big shopping. From the Carrefour it is a 20 min drive to the house.

The garden and pool are great! You can relax in the garden with lots of privacy.

There are a lot of mosquitoes in the area so mosquito nets in the bedrooms would be a nice addition.

Furthermore, the house could use a makeover, especially with regard to the bathroom and shower room. Upon entering the house there was a typical air that only diminished after a few days of airing.

The contact with the caretaker of the house, Sylvia, went very well.

We stayed at this property for 4 weeks in August 2022. The property itself is set in a very quiet area with only about 10 other properties in the vicinity. The gardens are private and secluded with the rear of the property backing on to olive groves. The pool is nice and large. Whilst we had a lovely relaxing holiday, we were somewhat disappointed with the condition of the property and gardens and feel these should have been better. Was it value for money? We have to say NO it was not. The gardens were overgrown in places. The hedge along the drive entrance is considerably overgrown and reduces the width to less than a car width, so you cannot drive into the property without brushing against it. The driveway lights have been lost within the hedge. Garden rubbish thrown under the hedge. They property is NOT pet safe. Gaps in the boundary trees, plants and bushes meant our dog was able to get out of the property. A child could just as easily get out of the property. We often encountered wild boar in the garden from the olive grove. Certainly not safe for children. The pool terrace is uneven and on slightly different levels. Lighting around the pool was very poor and damaged. A gas grill outside proved to be our saviour. There was a local ban on using charcoal BBQs and in the region. We were not informed of this and could have been heavily fined. The only air conditioning in the property is in the main bedroom. The remainder of the property was unbearable at times. No main oven in the Kitchen, only an electric hob. The oven is within a combination microwave. Not suitable for a family. General property information was all in Dutch rather than various languages. The whole property needs some work and brought up to standard. A damaged light switch in the lounge had been taped over. The shower door does not reach the shower tray and the floor floods every use. Fixed drawers in one of the bedroom wardrobes cannot be used. The other wardrobe was used as a storage area. Wooden bed slats in the main bedroom have been repaired and held together with plastic cable ties. These are all issues that the owner / management company are well aware of but have done nothing about. None of these are quick fix issues and nothing we could raise at the time of our stay. The property needs money being spent on it to bring it up to standard and to be safe and secure to use. I have photos of all I have mentioned in this review.

The accommodation had not been aired in months, so it smelled very musty and so we first opened all doors and windows against each other, also all outside tables and chairs were dirty and not cleaned in ages. It seemed that we were the first guests in ages because of Corona, but that is not my problem, it should have been delivered clean and fresh. The first evening we also had cold water, after contact with the manager and owner we had to exchange the gas bottles ourselves because they were empty and the manager also turned out not to have pulled a lever, so that the water remained cold even after gas replacement. Halfway through the week we also had no power, after contact with the administrator it was resolved, because this turned out to be a known problem, if so, I would say solve it. The dishwasher didn't clean so we had to do it by hand. The shower heads had to be replaced half way through our holiday because the rubbers were completely dried out, water came out of the shower head from all sides. When I approached the owner about the many things that were wrong, I got a sorry saying that they had not had time this summer for maintenance or checking the condition of the house due to Corona. I have said that I find this unacceptable, because then they should have notified me in advance, then I would have selected another house, I am going on holiday to enjoy it and then I am not waiting for the above defects. The price we paid was also just a commercial price, which I don't think is a problem, but then I also have to get the promised and we clearly did not get it. The house and pool could be really good, if clean and overdue maintenance has been carried out, because the veranda and the pool are lovely and it is beautifully situated between the mountains, so potentially a nice holiday location, but what we have rented is the price-quality ratio not reasonable. And the owner has it

Excellent quality house. Well equipped with household amenities. Abundance of (garden) furniture. Internet is slow. Up the coast is a drive of 30 minutes. Restaurant in downtown Parcent (the "Village") is very advantageous!

Beautiful spacious home complete with a fantastic key holder. Lovely swimming pool with terrace and a wonderfully spacious screened porch. Our dog could turn here right. Area do enough for everyone. Walking and touring in the mountains. visit beautiful bays and beaches, and culture lovers come here get their money. In the area plenty of restaurants where you can eat at a relatively cheap amount. In short TOP!

Had a fantastic holiday! Both the house, pool and terrace is great! Welcome was very warm. Mieke (keyholder) is still occasionally drop by to see if everything is in order. Beautiful view of the mountains. Nice restaurants in Parcent, alcalali and Xalo! Tasty and not expensive! Valencia easily accessible and well worth it! Altea is also very nice. Climb to the church and on terrace eating delicious tapas! We are stuck here and definitely come!

Under the inspiring leadership of Mieke nothing is left to chance and nothing is it too crazy to make you feel at home. the house is somewhat older, which certainly should be noted on the inventory. Everything is there but is not in the best condition, there are eg. An awful lot of glass, but not 6 the same, which is very messy reproach. The devices do not work 100%, eg, dishwasher and refrigerator works insufficient. The house would be a thorough freshening up can use well, put good stuff in and it's okay less, but better quality. The beds are good, fine master bedroom, two other bedrooms small and the shower is only suitable for children. In the other bathroom you stand to shower in the bath. Pool is great, very cold, 20 gr. In July / August, because it is largely in the shade. Garden is very large but beyond the pool terrace you will not come because the rest red stones / rocks with some trees and shrubs. Great beautiful house with a lovely atmosphere. Cozy and tastefully decorated. Very attentive and friendly key holder. Many devices available, complete inventory and most comfortable beds. TV with Dutch channels (including Golf Channel) is delicious as the "cools down in the evening outside the main season. Lots of privacy with a lovely decked area outside. We hire for years several private houses but this is really a winner.

Fantastic house, provided by Mieke grandiose, everything was in place, you need a car to a successful holiday vieren.Wel to take things. The town Parcent we have not really found a belevenis.Misschien there is more to do in the season. Will definitely come back in that region.

Had a fantastic holiday! Both the house, pool and terrace is great! Welcome was very warm. Mieke (keyholder) is still occasionally drop by to see if everything is in order. Beautiful view of the mountains. Nice restaurants in Parcent, alcalali and Xalo! Tasty and not expensive! Valencia easily accessible and well worth it! Altea is also very nice. Climb to the church and on terrace eating delicious tapas! We are stuck here and definitely come!

last July 2015 we stayed two weeks in this house. Fantastic welcome by the key holder and the house is really spic and span! Not on any comments !! Normally we usually come but once in a house because we like to stay each time somewhere else, but we will certainly remember to come back in a few years!

Great beautiful house with a lovely atmosphere. Cozy and tastefully decorated. Very attentive and friendly key holder. Many devices available, complete inventory and most comfortable beds. TV with Dutch channels (including Golf Channel) is delicious as the "cools down in the evening outside the main season. Lots of privacy with a lovely decked area outside. We hire for years several private houses but this is really a winner.

For the second time, stay in this beautiful house. There are a number of improvements, including removing a number of tall trees, leaving the swimming pool in the shade. And of course, a great welcome from Mieke, is always ready for you.

Very nice house with beautiful pool in a nice and quiet omgeving.Dorp Parcent has a number of bars, some simple restaurants and a supermarket.From the house you walk there in fifteen minutes to toe.Op 10 minutes rows is Orba where a fairly large Massymass is a supermarket with a good butcher and fresh fish department.Bedroom has a good working air conditioning and good beds.House is for a holiday home cozy and there is Dutch TV. Wifi worked fine both in the house and in the tuin.Keuken is well equipped, plenty of cutlery, plates, dishes edPrima showers with lots of hot water and waterdruk.Garden and pool are well maintained, beautiful palm trees and flowers.In the morning you can there See squirrels and many cozy sparrows, wagtails and swallows all day long. Put a bowl of water down and the sparrows will be grateful of drink.Op the pictures is not good to see that the pergola in the BBQ is now overgrown with a wisteria so you can sit in the shade in the afternoon. There is both a gas and a charcoal BBQ. The swimming pool runs almost immediately to the deep is therefore less suitable for children who can not swim well. Tip you come from the north / Valencia stop on the way at Ondara, there is a huge Carrefour where you can do all the big shopping. From the Carrefour it is a 20 min drive to the house.

An awful lot of glass, but not 6 the same, which is very messy reproach. The devices do not work 100%, eg, dishwasher and refrigerator works insufficient. Casa Smit is a great place to chill out. You lack nothing in this well-appointed house in a beautiful place. Lovely cottage fully equipped, nice pool, quiet location, receive adequate privacy.Goed by Mieke (Key Holding). The dog has had her sentence at a decent piece of land where they could come struinen.Kortom tasty definitely going back again. House what dated, pillows on the outside poor, dirty. Other pillows were replaced at our request and also new things were purchased for the kitchen. The environment is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful garden and fantastic view.

The accommodation had not been aired in months, so it smelled very musty and so we first opened all doors and windows against each other, also all outside tables and chairs were dirty and not cleaned in ages. It seemed that we were the first guests in ages because of Corona, but that is not my problem, it should have been delivered clean and fresh. The first evening we also had cold water, after contact with the manager and owner we had to exchange the gas bottles ourselves because they were empty and the manager also turned out not to have pulled a lever, so that the water remained cold even after gas replacement. Halfway through the week we also had no power, after contact with the administrator it was resolved, because this turned out to be a known problem, if so, I would say solve it. The dishwasher didn't clean so we had to do it by hand. The shower heads had to be replaced half way through our holiday because the rubbers were completely dried out, water came out of the shower head from all sides. When I approached the owner about the many things that were wrong, I got a sorry saying that they had not had time this summer for maintenance or checking the condition of the house due to Corona. I have said that I find this unacceptable, because then they should have notified me in advance, then I would have selected another house, I am going on holiday to enjoy it and then I am not waiting for the above defects. The price we paid was also just a commercial price, which I don't think is a problem, but then I also have to get the promised and we clearly did not get it. The house and pool could be really good, if clean and overdue maintenance has been carried out, because the veranda and the pool are lovely and it is beautifully situated between the mountains, so potentially a nice holiday location, but what we have rented is the price-quality ratio not reasonable. We stayed at this property for 4 weeks in August 2022. The property itself is set in a very quiet area with only about 10 other properties in the vicinity.

The gardens are private and secluded with the rear of the property backing on to olive groves. The pool is nice and large.

Whilst we had a lovely relaxing holiday, we were somewhat disappointed with the condition of the property and gardens and feel these should have been better. Was it value for money? We have to say NO it was not.

The gardens were overgrown in places. The hedge along the drive entrance is considerably overgrown and reduces the width to less than a car width, so you cannot drive into the property without brushing against it. The driveway lights have been lost within the hedge. Garden rubbish thrown under the hedge.

They property is NOT pet safe. Gaps in the boundary trees, plants and bushes meant our dog was able to get out of the property. A child could just as easily get out of the property.

We often encountered wild boar in the garden from the olive grove. Certainly not safe for children.

The pool terrace is uneven and on slightly different levels. Lighting around the pool was very poor and damaged.

A gas grill outside proved to be our saviour. There was a local ban on using charcoal BBQs and in the region. We were not informed of this and could have been heavily fined.

The only air conditioning in the property is in the main bedroom. The remainder of the property was unbearable at times.

No main oven in the Kitchen, only an electric hob. The oven is within a combination microwave. Not suitable for a family.

General property information was all in Dutch rather than various languages.

The whole property needs some work and brought up to standard.

A damaged light switch in the lounge had been taped over. The shower door does not reach the shower tray and the floor floods every use. Fixed drawers in one of the bedroom wardrobes cannot be used. The other wardrobe was used as a storage area.

Wooden bed slats in the main bedroom have been repaired and held together with plastic cable ties.

These are all issues that the owner / management company are well aware of but have done nothing about.

None of these are quick fix issues and nothing we could raise at the time of our stay. The property needs money being spent on it to bring it up to standard and to be safe and secure to use. I have photos of all I have mentioned in this review.

From the Netherlands traveled by car, we were well received by host Mieke, everything was taken care of. The 2nd week fell a lot of rain, which caused the flow to go out for a long time. Host Mieke immediately called an electrician and half of the electricity did not turn out to be the only garden lighting. Perhaps a tip for the owners vh house, the garden lighting should be replaced so that rainfall does not cause a short circuit. Swimming pool temperature was fine 29grd, and also the sunbeds and garden furniture in good condition. We will definitely come back here again. The tranquility, the location between the beautiful mountains it is highly recommended! Also, be sure to go to the top of the mountain looking out from the villa, which is breathtakingly beautiful overlooking the valley. Places +/- 25km from Parcent are Moraira, Denia and Javea which is definitely worth a visit.
