On the edge of the picturesque Gleißenberg, also known as the Bavarian Merano, this cosy holiday flat is located on the first floor of a charming country house right on the edge of the forest. Access to your holiday home is via a separate external staircase leading to a private entrance. As you enter the spacious flat through one of the two bedrooms, you are greeted by a cosy ambience.
The spacious grounds with an idyllic sunbathing lawn present a generous terrace, equipped with garden furniture, a cosy seating area and a barbecue. Here you can enjoy the breathtaking panorama and the peaceful atmosphere of the village to the full - a place to relax and unwind. The numerous hiking trails invite you to explore the surrounding mountains and forests. In the winter months, the nearby ski resorts offer ideal conditions for winter sports activities.
Thanks to its central location in the heart of the Bavarian Forest, there are also attractive excursion options in the surrounding area. Experience cultural highlights such as the Dragon Sting in Furth im Wald or the Trenck Festival in Waldmünchen. The Arber region, various glassworks and the Bad Kötzting casino invite you to other interesting activities.

The arrival was reasonable. We are rather, especially in Germany, a different reception. In the area was much to see, nice zoo in Lohberg, Waldmunchen and Furth im Wald are also beautiful to visit. The apartment, however, this year was a bit disappointing for us. We had the impression that the woman did not have it with dogs, even though they were admitted. The hood in the kitchen did not work, and this is also the living room, so that is less pleasant when you prepare something to eat. The refrigerator was really very small, with 2 bottles of soda she was almost filled. The area was very beautiful and many beautiful walks.
