One feels at home.

We arrived on a rainy November afternoon and were warmly welcomed. The house exceeded our expectations, raised by the pictures, we didn't feel like we were in a vacation home, but felt at home immediately. The location and therefore the view are indescribable. We enjoyed the sauna, fitness room, and whirlpool daily. Our landlords have recorded everything worth knowing, including maps, in two folders. For daily use, the Edeka has almost everything, a bakery and a butcher complete the offer. The Schlossbrauereigaststätte with a daily changing menu and the pizzeria are recommended. Visiting the ruins is definitely worth it. We really enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable all around, thank you very much, dear Mrs. Schauber.

Fantastic dream holiday home with super nice landlords!

We stayed in this great holiday home for 2 weeks, which really matches the pictures and even exceeds them. We were warmly welcomed and well instructed by Mrs. and Mr. Schauber. We immediately felt comfortable. There were always friendly words, tips, and warmth (you had the feeling you had known each other for a long time).
The location, the view from all rooms, the wellness area, the outdoor area - everything was perfect. The car and bicycles could be stored in a garage. Regarding the equipment of the house, all one can say is that Mrs. Schauber has an eye for every detail. Everything is available, nothing is missing.
You can start hiking or biking right from the house. Shopping options are a 3-minute walk away - bakery, butcher, and EDEKA. Also there is the Italian restaurant Al Castello, which offers good value for money with delicious food. For beer lovers, there is also a brewery in town, but unfortunately the inn was closed due to a holiday.
All in all - it was a very successful vacation with great weather. We will definitely come back and wish the Schauber family many more nice holiday guests.

Fantastic holiday home!

We stayed in the house for 10 days and had wonderful weather in early September 2023. And we can only fully confirm all the statements of the previous reviews. The photos on the website are already wonderful, but they are even surpassed by the real impressions. The Schauber family granted us uncomplicated access to the house and gave us instructions. We were on vacation from the first minute and for the whole ten days. With a heavy heart, we drove back home and we are pretty sure that we would like to come back someday.

Regardless of the house itself, the area offers numerous leisure opportunities, hiking, canoeing, shopping, sightseeing, etc. And the gastronomic options within a radius of 10 km actually leave nothing to be desired.

So there is no other option than to give 5 stars - even though the combination of the house, interior, super nice landlords, the soothing environment, and the magnificent view from the balconies actually deserves more stars.

At this point, we would like to thank the Schauber family once again for allowing us to spend this great vacation in their house.

Dream holiday

My partner and I spent 12 days in the beautiful accommodation of the Schauber family
The holiday home is in a very quiet location, is furnished with attention to detail and offers everything your heart desires.
The landlords are extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt comfortable at all times.
Runding itself invites you to walk, hike and cycle. In Cham, which is about 12 minutes away by car, you will find a beautiful old town, a large selection of restaurants and shopping opportunities
From Runding, it is worth taking a day trip to Prague. It is a two and a half hour drive, but Prague was an unforgettable experience for us!
It rained heavily on two days, but this was not a disadvantage as we were able to enjoy the spa area with sauna, whirlpool and fitness equipment to the full

We would book the accommodation again at any time and are already looking forward to our next stay!

Absolutely ingenious ?

We booked at short notice and were lucky that something was still available exactly in this week. The accommodation is just like the photos: pure luxury! Absolutely recommendable for excursions or just to relax because of the beautiful wellness area. Many thanks to the nice owners, we will definitely be back.

Wellness, nature and very friendly landlords

This holiday flat offers all the conditions for a wonderful holiday.

Facilities: Top! We loved the wellness area. Since we were there with our 3-month-old son, we were able to make great use of the little one's sleeping phases and use the complete wellness programme of sauna, whirlpool and fitness equipment and were still always close by. But also the rest of the flat is not only super equipped, but also beautifully furnished.

Location: hillside location with a beautiful view. There are three terraces in total, so even in spring there is always somewhere to enjoy the sun. In addition, the beautiful castle ruins are right next door. It can be visited for free and is a nice destination for short walks. There are beautiful cycling and hiking paths nearby.

Cleanliness/service: The flat was very clean and well maintained. The landlords were very flexible about arrival and departure times.

Price/performance: We would definitely recommend this flat and would love to come back

Incredibly beautiful

We spent a wonderful week in Runding, in a house that you have to search for a long time to find something so great.
The contact with the friendly landlords was uncomplicated. When we had a small problem with the whirlpool, they were immediately on hand and very eager to resolve it. Thanks again for that. We always enjoyed the view from this house. A great location. The holiday home itself left nothing to be desired and is top equipped. Highly recommended. We hope that we can enjoy this again.

Incredibly beautiful short vacation

It is incredible how perfectly everything fits together here:
the house, the furnishings, the location, the view, the landlords!!!!!!
Even the car has a cozy room!! ;-))
Such a lovingly, comfortably furnished dream house!!! You immediately feel like you are on cloud 7!!!
In the village, there is everything you need: a small supermarket, baker, excellent butcher, and a great brewery (we recommend the wheat beer!!).
Here, you can really let your soul unwind!!!

A wonderful pre-Christmas short break!

Everything is simply perfect here: location, facilities, coziness, hosts, cleanliness..... If it were possible, we would give 6 stars or more. Rarely have we felt so comfortable in a holiday home from the first minute - and we have often had great holiday homes! Yes, we would recommend it, albeit with a little concern; the more people want to vacation here, the less chance we have of being able to come back. But seriously: vacationing here is ideal, you are so quickly in town, at the ruin, have the opportunity to take beautiful walks right from the house, if you can part with the wonderful house... - We will be back very soon!

A great vacation home with great landlords!

The cottage is located at the end of a cul-de-sac below the ruined castle of Runding. The location is very quiet and offers a fantastic view with magnificent sunsets. The house is very clean and well-maintained. It has been tastefully decorated with a lot of love and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. The absolute highlight is the truly beautiful wellness area, which offers pure relaxation. In the village of Runding, you will find everything you need for your daily needs (a small supermarket, butcher, bakery, and various restaurants are available and within walking distance). The couple Schauber is very nice and helpful, as well as always approachable. We stayed in Runding for 14 days, felt completely comfortable and relaxed very well. We will gladly come back! Could it be any better? Probably not...

Madness! The two of us spent two weeks in this house. And it was just fantastic! Everything was exactly as described - or even better! We felt super comfortable and just enjoyed everything. Also the excellent service of the landlord couple. This is what makes a holiday so much fun. We only mention here that the weather was just right and contributed to our good mood, because that is also part of a relaxing holiday. In terms of accommodation, it wouldn't have mattered if the weather had been worse, because you can fully relax and enjoy wellness in its entirety in the house alone. What else can we write - except that we can only recommend every couple to try it for themselves. We will definitely be happy to come back! Once again, THANK YOU to the dear Schaubers for this terrific holiday!

Ein Traum

Alle reden zur Zeit von 3G, wir sagen unser Urlaub war 3x T
Traumhaus-Traumumgebung- Traumgastgeber.
Dieses Ferienhaus gehört wahrscheinlich zu den Besten was es in Deutschland gibt.
Das Haus befindet sich auf einer Hanglage mit wunderschöner Aussicht.
Von hier aus kann man direkt wunderbar wandern und auch die Region mit Auto erkunden.
Das Haus selbst entspricht zu 100% der Beschreibung und ist super modern eingerichtet.
Die Vermieter haben hier sehr viel Herzblut und Zeit in die Innen-und Außeneinrichtung investiert.
Der I- Punkt des Ferienhauses ist die Fam. Schauber als Vermieter.
Zwei herzensgute Menschen die jeder Zeit für uns da waren und unseren wunderschönen Urlaub damit perfekt machten.
Dieses Haus und die Vermieter können wir zu 100% nur weiterempfehlen.
Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, sogar das Wetter war perfekt.

Wonderful luxurious holiday home in top location

We were very lucky to spend our summer holidays in this wonderful house.
The house is simply indescribable! Here you enjoy a fantastic view and can watch the sunset wonderfully. The house is detached in a cul-de-sac directly on the path to the castle ruins. The interior is of very high quality and beautifully decorated. The highlight is of course the wellness area, which is really unique. Here you can exercise well with the fitness equipment and even enjoy the wonderful view on the cross trainer. Afterwards, the sauna or the spacious whirlpool invite you to relax. Even the lighting can be adjusted to create the right mood. The rock garden is also beautifully maintained and you feel at home here as soon as you arrive. You notice at every point how much love and work has gone into the house. Here you get an all-round feel-good package and pure relaxation!
We would like to thank the Schauber family very much for this great stay and the cordial treatment! We were warmly welcomed right from the start and even given farewell presents. Thank you very much!

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus in einmaliger Lage

Wir verlebten eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Woche an einem paradiesischen Ort. Sowohl das am Ende einer Sackgasse, am Fuße der Burgruine, gelegene Haus, als auch die herrliche Fernsicht auf Cham und Umgebung sind wohl einzigartig und in den vergangenen Bewertungen äußerst treffend beschrieben worden.
Vor Ort gibt es viele abwechslungsreiche Möglichkeiten der Freizeitgestaltung.
Der Kontakt zum Ehepaar Schauber war sehr herzlich. Sie waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar und lieferten reichlich Insidertipps.
Vielen Dank für die Möglichkeit hier urlauben zu können. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Einfach herrlich

Absolut ruhige Lage und die Aussicht ist einfach unbezahlbar.
Wir kamen an und haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt.

Absolutes Traumferienhaus

Dieses Haus ist wirklich ein einziger Traum. Es stimmt einfach alles. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Frau Schauber mehr als freundlich empfangen. Dann ein Rundgang durchs Haus mit Einweisung. Alles perfekt. Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Der Wellness-Bereich einfach nur genial. Die Terrasse bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick, den wir jeden Abend bei tollem Wetter genossen haben. Wir verbrachten hier eine wunderschöne und unvergessliche Urlaubswoche. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und lädt zum Wandern ein. Auch gibt es schöne Städtchen in der näheren Umgebung, die man sich anschauen sollte. Die Vermieter Edelgard und Thomas Schauber sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und stehen mit Rat und Tat gerne zur Verfügung. Wir freuen uns auf ein hoffentlich baldiges Wiedersehen. Ein absolutes "Top Haus"

wir waren im Juni 21 in diesem wirklich wunderbaren Haus mit Top Ausstattung,bester Lage und sehr schönem Panoramablick. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen von zuvorkommenden vermietern. Ausfürliche Einweisung in das komplett eingerichtete Haus.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus

Wir haben im Oktober tolle 5 Nächte im Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus ist toll ausgestattet, es feht wirklich nichts und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und aufmerksam, erklären das ganze Haus bei Anreise ausführlich. Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer, was für ubs mir 3 Personen perfekt war. Die Küche mit angeschlossenem Wohn-/Esszimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, es gibt in der Küche alles an Geschirr und Gläsern, Töpfen, Pfannen und Besteck, was das Herz begehrt. Die Couch ist super bequem. Auch an Entertainment ist alles vorhanden, Fernseher, DVD-Player mit DVDs und im ganzen Haus gibt es tolle Beleuchtung, auch indirekt. Es gibt 2 Balkone mit bequemer Bestuhlung. Der Knaller schlechthin ist aber der Wellnessbereich im "Keller", wobei dieser ebenerdig auf eine tolle Terrasse mit wunderschönem Blick liegt. Es gibt eine kleine Sauna und einen grosszügigen Whirlpol, Duschen und bequemen Liegen. Auch hier gibt es wunderschöne Beleutung. Ausserdem gibt es noch einen kleinen Fitnessbereich mit verschiedenen Geräten. Handtücher sind im ganzen Haus genügend vorhanden. Das Haus liegt als letztes in einer Sackgasse, es ist wunderbar ruhig. Fussläufug kann man ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft und den Bäcker in 5 min erreichen. Ausserdem eine Burgruine in 3 min, diese ist echt sehenswert.
Und hat es rundherum super gefallen, wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.

Traumhafter Urlaub, wir kommen sicher wieder

schon beim erstern Telefonat mit Fr. Schauber fühlten wir uns wohl und wussten wir sind richtig ;-)
Am Anreisetag wurden wir von den Gastgebern herzlich empfangen, man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Alles wurde einem genau erklärt (Whirlpool, Sauna, usw.). Es blieben keine Fragen offen.
Das Haus und der Ausblick vom Balkon ist fast nicht in Worte zu fassen, einfach wunderschön. Die Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gemacht. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für den perfekten Urlaub braucht, selbst Handtücher, Bademäntel, ..., alles vorhanden.
Für Wanderungen hat der Hausherr einen kompletten Ordner mit Wandertouren angelegt. Er hat uns auch ein paar schöne Touren empfohlen. Da ist für jeden Schwierigkeitsgrad was dabei. Auch Sehenswertes mit Tips und Tricks bekommt man dazu.
Nach einer ausgedehnten Wanderung, in die Sauna und dann in den Whirlpool, was kann es schöneres geben.

Leider waren die Urlaubstage, wie immer, viel zu schnell um. Aber wir haben den Aufenhalt, dank der tollen Gastgeber und dem absolut Top Haus geniessen können.

Vielen herzlichen Dank an Fr. Schauber und ihren Mann, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert

Da das erste Telefonat mit Frau Schauber schon mehr als positiv und herzlich verlief, haben wir uns schnell dazu entschieden unseren Urlaub in diesem wunderbar gelegenen und sehr gut ausgestattetem Ferienhaus im Bayrischen Wald zu verbringen.
Die Abwicklung und die Anreise waren durchaus unkompliziert und flexibel.
Im Haus angekommen wurde uns alles gezeigt und es waren keine Fragen mehr offen. Alles passend eingerichtet, Sauna, Whirlpool und ein wunderschöner Ausblick...was will man da noch mehr?
Es wurde zudem sehr darauf geachtet, dass man den Aufenthalt ungestört genießen konnte.
Nach den 6 wunderschönen Tagen ging es auch leider wieder viel zu schnell zu Ende. Der Abschied war ebenfalls sehr herzlich, man hat sich noch einige Zeit zusammen unterhalten bevor man dann leider wieder abfahren musste.

Alles in Allem kurz zusammengefasst:
- Die An- und Abreise wurde sehr angenehm und unkompliziert gestaltet
- Top Ausstattung (Whirlpool, Fitnessgeräte, Sauna,Küche,...)
- Wunderschöner Ausblick
- Bäcker, Pizzeria, Metzger und Brauerei zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso die
Burgruine.
- Ein wirklich gutes Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis!

Und zu guter Letzt natürlich sehr nette Gastgeber mit denen man sich super unterhalten konnte und die immer einen guten Tipp für die Freizeitbeschäftigung hatten.

Exzellent

Dieses Haus ist ein absoluter Traum, es ist wirklich ALLES phänomenal, von A-Z! Ebenso die Gastgeber, Familie Schauber sind die besten Vermieter, die man sich nur wünschen kann, stehen einem zur Seite, bei Fragen.
Die Bilder in der Anzeige sprechen für sich, dem ist nichts mehr hinzuzufügen.
Fazit: ein traumhafter Urlaub in traumhafter Lage, bei traumhafter Ausstattung des Hauses.
Wir kommen gern wieder!!!
