Had a lovely week with 8 people, big house with 9 bedrooms, large well-equipped kitchen, living room sufficient for 8 people, with more it gets a bit cramped in the living room. Nice, helpful landlady who was always willing to listen, problems were resolved quickly wherever possible. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side. A roof outside would have been nice, but as it rained a lot we couldn't use the outdoor seating. The upper rooms under the roof are very warm in summer, but as the weather was bad from the second day onwards we fortunately didn't have too many problems with it (but you should know that).

The accommodation is well-equipped and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the bath after a long day of hiking. The terrace was a nice place to relax, and we made good use of the loungers. A cozy base to explore the Southern Black Forest.

The location is ideal for nature lovers, right at the edge of the forest we were able to easily explore the hiking trails. The KONUS guest card was a great advantage for moving around the Black Forest at no additional cost. We appreciated the practical amenities such as the washing machine and the dishwasher.

We spent most of our time on the sun terrace while enjoying the stunning view over the Hintertodtmoos valley. The host was incredibly hospitable and available when we had questions. With six bedrooms, we had plenty of space for our group. It was a perfect base to explore the Black Forest. Highly recommended for families or groups looking to relax!

Arriving at an altitude of 1000 meters, this fantastic ski lodge with its brightly colored balconies is full of summer flowers. The house is right next to an alpha road, where only a few walkers or cars pass by every day. At the top of this road is a beautiful waterfall which is only a few minutes' walk away. From the entrance of the house. The house has 4 floors where the entrance is a staircase going up bad luck if you sleep in the attic, that is still a climb.On the ground floor live the manager with son.This also have a section on the 1st floor in use, but is closed off from the rest. Concerning room with bathroom ratio, the house is good, showers a bit small and little luxury, but the water pressure is good and it is reasonably clean.We did have some comments on the kitchen, where we already have 10 people very concise and tight could sit in. Also the content with plates / cutlery etc is good, but regarding cooking pans / coasters / oven dishes it is simply too minimal and too little for 19. Pers nevertheless everything is in good condition. very small to a gr Other group, the furniture is also old-fashioned. From this house it is a 15 minute walk to the center of the village, where there are a number of shops and cafes. Many of our group have walked various routes, from a few km to around 15, What this area is ideal for in the summer When it comes to trips or just getting groceries, it is really necessary to take the car with you.There is a toboggan run in Todtnau, Switzerland a 1.5-hour drive away, Steinwasen Park and other small outings All in all, a wonderful environment to enjoy nature and to enjoy each other.
