We were very warmly welcomed by mr. Becher, our host. He has a very romantic place of it. A lovely garden and a separate house with lots of space and play equipment. After a week of having enjoyed in this beautiful setting we got an alert with our host who made us persoonijk has waved goodbye.

This location also used as a base for day trips to Switzerland (Schaffhausen) and France (Ensisheim). Also, of course, explored the Black Forest, an amazingly beautiful area. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The cottage was equipped with everything really. We really enjoyed the house and the surroundings. In bernau, near the house is a very cozy restaurant-bar. You're so well known places in the area and it is pretty run between and over the mountains. The house itself is Wannenhof also enjoy ...! Just cozy furnishings. The house owner was very friendly and nice, also quite shy. The ambiance of the apartment was beautiful, with a rustic charm that made our stay special. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the lush garden. The accommodation is well-maintained and just a short drive from the beautiful Schluchsee.

The spacious ground floor had an excellent provisioning with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Excellent shower. Nice layout of the yard with many varieties with all there nameplates. Owner was very helpful in both setting the right receiver for satellite reception as providing the login information for a working WiFi connection. Only minus is actually the limited height of the particular doorways. If you are over 80 1m you ever hitting your head against a doorway. Overall a good price / quality ratio. Ideal for hiking. Within walking distance is a good bakery.

This apartment was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was spacious enough for four of us, and we enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen. The shared garden was a lovely place to relax in the evening after a day of skiing. I highly recommend it!
