Dangerous little house for children, power points open and exposed, had a lot of trouble with pests, and if you want to get to the car, you have to walk about a kilometer to reach it. Furthermore, there is nothing to do in the park, no canteen or anything, reception that is closed 9 out of 10 times. Belvilla provided us with a completely different house than the one we booked. In short, the vacation was cut short out of misery, and we had to incur high costs in a hotel to make the children a bit happy. Never again for me, Belvilla!!!

We had a lovely stay in this detached bungalow on the Katzenbuckel! The surroundings are peaceful, making it a perfect retreat for nature lovers. The cottage was okay, after a few days you are used to the green bathroom. Very old-fashioned furnishings and dirty crockery in the cupboards. There is not much to do in the area, except for a few nice restaurants. Fortunately, there was a large playground in the park. Here the children could play wonderfully, if no open air service was held by the (nl) Christian travel organization. It organized quite a lot for their members, which made it very busy at times. Corona guidelines were therefore not enforced. The tennis court, skating rink and football field was not much.

If you want action and funfairs, then you better skip this park, because to find something to go out you have to drive a bit. House was clean and lots of greenery around you. We had a nice holiday home with a new bathroom that was on the small side. The house was very nice and had a dishwasher, that was a surprise. But a downside was not fitting the curtains. Everywhere triangular windows with rectangular curtains in front so that in every room there was a part of the windows without a curtain. Not fine i.v.m. look in but certainly not "in the morning when you wake up very early due to the light. Not as nice as you want to sleep in during your vacation.

The cottage we had was tidy. On the outside it looks somewhat dated. A refresh would not be wrong. This is also true for the inside. For sandwiches and meals you can easily prepare it as a holidaymaker. The park is in nature, and is well suited for that. Are you looking for a busy area or cities, then you should not be here. Heidelberg is a 45-minute drive, definitely recommended. Furthermore, the Neckar course is also beautiful. Costs to be paid afterwards. In winter the bill may increase, because a m3 gas costs € 2.30 and a kWh electricity € 0.35. In the warmer seasons it does not matter what you've lost. Then even the internet. Feriendorf Waldbrunn is a park where some of the owners rented their cottage, which the older permanent residents of the park may not always appreciate. Together with our 3 children (6, 3 and 1 year) we have a wonderful holiday "t Feriendorf had. We have a lot of walking, swimming in an outdoor pool amid the hills and a boat trip to Heidelberg. The cottage itself is simple, but very atmospheric, the children enjoyed the fun "exciting" corners. Much privacy around the house. The stay in this house and this park was very disappointing. We had deliberately selected an accommodation with WiFi. Unfortunately we had to rent this on the spot for an extra fee. And even then there was just as often no WiFi coverage as there was. The beds were very moderate. The bedding (general Dutch sizes) did not fit and the beds were so saggy that the adults lay on the floor in order to have a firmer surface. What was most unfortunate was that it was a park with almost exclusively religious people. Well, there is nothing wrong with that, but when a child is not allowed to participate in the general children's activities that the park offers, because the child does not come from a religious family, it is really to cry! What a disappointment for our 10-year-old child that he was not allowed to participate in the games that (all) other children were doing all week!

Park is spacious with lots of space and peace to the cottages. these are a bit outdated in terms of color and design but need a nice stay out of the way to staan.Prachtig area for walking and moutinbiken (or heavily by the height difference) with lots of wildlife, particularly many deer. Katzenbuckel (old volcano and highest mountain) is about 1 km away and well worth going to. Pool is new and looks perfectly groomed. We rode horses at the stables next to the pool was also very nice. The people in the area are welcoming and friendly. only the weather was poor but was still better than at home.

The houses are typical 70s, but we liked it as a group of friends. Especially for this price. The satellite TV did not work and there is also no WiFi (the WiFi mentioned in the description is only available at the reception). The TV itself was smart and has HDMI (from Samsung), so Android devices can mirror screen. The cottage has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds and 2 mattresses in the attic belonging to the 2nd bedroom. Slept well (end of September), in the summer it could be warm. The kitchen is simple with a filter coffee machine, with all the necessary crockery and cutlery. Furthermore, it is a nice quiet area and the reception was friendly and helpful. You can also order bread rolls at the reception every day (except Sunday).
