This beautiful log home offers all kinds of amenities, lots of space and is surrounded by nature. Enjoyment is guaranteed.
The log cabin "Tulp" is a detached house with spacious garden, large playground, private parking space and cosy porch. It offers unobstructed views of the garden, woods and the hills. Thanks to this convenient location you can enjoy last ray of sunshine. The open-plan living-dining kitchen is fully equipped. The loft with balustrade gives the room a particularly pleasant atmosphere and provides plenty of light.
Do you have small children? We know how it is. That's why the house is completely child-friendly: it has a cot (120 x 60 cm), high chair, stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs, changing mat, night lights and secured sockets throughout the house.
The house is located in Wissinghausen, centrally located between Winterberg (10 km), Medebach (10 km) and Willingen (15 km). Just 2 km away is Kuestelberg, where there are restaurants and a bakery. The house is on the main road that leads from Winterberg to Willingen - this has the advantage that in winter it is ploughed and sprinkled with sand right up to the entrance.
From the house you're in the middle of nature in no time at all, whether it's on foot or by bike. The valley offers numerous hiking opportunities through meadows, forests and heathland. A true paradise for nature lovers and hikers. Possible excursion destinations in the region include: Winterberg, Willingen, Berleburg Castle, Korbach, Ettelsberg, Diemelsee, Edersee.

This is the second time we have booked the Blokhuis. It's clean and everything is there. The handling of payment, handing over the keys went smoothly.
What we would like to note:
Ventilation on hot days is difficult because only one window in the living area can be tilted. The terrace door no longer had a fly screen, so we decided not to leave it open.
The trampoline in the garden is past its prime.

Beautiful, well-kept, complete, clean and lovely chalet, centrally located in the beautiful Sauerland. The smallest things have been thought of: there are games, bicycles, extensive kitchenware, etc. Wonderful showers and excellent WiFi.

We have now been guests for the 4th time for two weeks in August in Blokhuis Winterberg in Wissinghausen. Every year the log cabin and the location are very good. Fully equipped inside, outside you can walk straight into nature for a walk, short or long. A must for other holiday guests!
