We enjoyed a beautiful, atmospheric little house, which is wonderfully located near the slopes of Kustelberg and Winterberg, making everything easily accessible by car.

It is clearly noticeable that it is a privately owned cottage. I have never had such a clean, spacious, and well-equipped cottage. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the living room is spacious and cozy, and there is a nice large dining table for enjoying meals together or playing games in the evening. The two bathrooms have a nice shower and enough space to put your things down. A point of attention: There are three bedrooms with a total of six beds (one of the three rooms has a bunk bed). If you are with more than six people, there are still two beds, but that last bedroom (in the loft) has no door. The separation from the rest of the house is with a curtain. We were five people, so it was not a problem for us. But it is handy to know in advance.

This is the second time we have booked the Blokhuis. It's clean and everything is there. The handling of payment, handing over the keys went smoothly.

What we would like to note:

Ventilation on hot days is difficult because only one window in the living area can be tilted. The terrace door no longer had a fly screen, so we decided not to leave it open.

The trampoline in the garden is past its prime.

Beautiful, well-kept, complete, clean and lovely chalet, centrally located in the beautiful Sauerland. The smallest things have been thought of: there are games, bicycles, extensive kitchenware, etc. Wonderful showers and excellent WiFi.

We have now been guests for the 4th time for two weeks in August in Blokhuis Winterberg in Wissinghausen. Every year the log cabin and the location are very good. Fully equipped inside, outside you can walk straight into nature for a walk, short or long. A must for other holiday guests!

Very nice place to stay! The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The mezzanine is charming and bright, and the kids had a lot of fun in the garden. The only downside was the main road, but it wasn't too noisy.

This cabin has everything you need for a family stay. We appreciated that it was child-friendly with all the baby equipment like high chairs and cribs. The kitchen was well-equipped; we prepared some meals and enjoyed them on the porch. The surrounding nature is beautiful, perfect for walks or biking.

The location of the house is excellent, you have your privacy and it is quite central compared to other larger towns, Willingen, Winterberg, and Medebach are easily reachable, the house has everything you need.

We had a wonderful stay in the wooden cabin! The spacious garden was perfect for our children, and the views of the woods were simply breathtaking. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals after a long day of hiking on the nearby trails. The location was ideal, a short drive from Winterberg for skiing. The hosts were very helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return!
