The cottage is in a beautiful place with a beautiful view, but it is very dated inside, not a nice seat, very dark small kitchen where you have to stand on a step to reach the combi oven and a dining table that is shaky on the legs . The railing of the stairs is too shaky to be reliable, not recommended for older people because the entrance is 'upstairs' with the bedroom and bathroom and the living room and kitchen downstairs so that you still have to use the stairs regularly. It is also a pity that there is no supermarket nearby, but it is certainly a beautiful area for those seeking tranquility who want to walk and cycle!

It was very good. What a lovely house, very clean and cozy. Big enough for 5 people and well equipped. Beautiful view, we really enjoyed it. The only thing less was that the beds were somewhat hard.

The vacation house was charming and had a rustic atmosphere. We had everything we needed, and the kids loved the bunk beds. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine under the stars.

Beautiful quiet location. When the trees have shed their leaves, you can surely see the Hennesee from the terrace. The exercises of the Meschede aerobatic team directly opposite are interesting. Some aspects of the house/inventory are in need of improvement as everything has aged. Cleaning could have been a bit more thorough, especially in the kitchen. Defective and missing parts reported to the caretaker. A toaster and a window curtain in the bathroom would be desirable. The stairs should be secured and the parking lot should be marked, as the house is located on a curve!

We spent 2 weeks in this nice holiday home with our family with 3 children (11, 9, and 7 years old). It is a cozy little house with everything you need. We had a great time hiking in the area, swimming, and stand-up paddling in the lake. In bad weather, we went swimming in the indoor pool of the nearby campsite. The area is very quiet. Good contact with the friendly managers. The nearest supermarket is in Meschede, about a fifteen-minute drive. At the campsite, there is a small shop for daily necessities. The lake has a swimming beach with a kiosk and is a few minutes' walk from the cottage. It is nice to bring swimming shoes because the beach has sharp stones. We had a very nice vacation.
