It is a very nice little house, very clean and everything is present for a wonderful vacation. The surroundings are also beautiful! Around the mill, there is a lot of peace and greenery, and you are very quickly at all sorts of fun attractions, such as castles, walking paths, and cities.

I really loved this place! It was like a trip back in time with the atmosphere of the old mill. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Just a small piece of advice, the WiFi was a bit unstable, but who needs it when surrounded by nature, right?

Probably even a fresh badgers discovered and evening to hear the belling deer in the woods. In the oil mill was a milk with oil already forty years old. We have rented 2 houses at the residence of the Kaifenheimer Muhle, because we wanted to stay there for 2 weeks and that during the booking it was no longer possible to stay separately in 1 of the houses in the period from 2 to 16 September. studio was from September 1st to 7th. A lovely private cozy place and bigger than we expected. Living and sleeping area are in 1 room. We didn't think that was an issue. There was plenty of room to move around freely. The kitchen is a bit small, which was not an issue for us and everything is there. The bathroom offers sufficient space. Behind the studio is a very large sitting area with table and benches and 2 sun loungers, completely at the disposal of the guests in the studio. Unobstructed view around you and all privacy possible. We have made frequent use of it. The weather was lovely. The peace and quiet on the grounds of the Mill is soothing. In a valley with lots of greenery. We have seen a few hares and a deer. Gertrud and Bernd are a nice, friendly hostess and host. You can contact them with any questions. It is also possible to take a tour of the old mill. We liked that very much. Almost every evening we took a walk in the vicinity of the mill. There are fields and wooded areas where it is pleasant to walk. There is much to see in the vicinity of the complex. We did some really nice Traumpfade walks, using the Traumpfade app which works very nicely. The Moselle is nearby with several nice towns such as Treis-Karden and Cochem. We found small towns such as Klotten and Beilstein even more beautiful and atmospheric. Burg Eltz is beautifully situated and worth a visit. Mayen is also a nice city. We definitely want to go back to the studio or one of the other 2 apartments at the Kaifenheimer Muhle. Had a wonderful holiday!!

A house with everything you need in a unique place. Here you can really relax. We could sit behind the studio, nobody came there. If you are quiet and a bit lucky you will see deer, birds of prey and squirrels. We even saw two foxes. We were there for three weeks and we were never bored. The studio is also suitable for that. And if you miss something, the friendly owners are always willing to help. Tips, the suspension bridge of Gerlach, Wildpark Daun, beautiful walks also from the cottage. And Japanese restaurant Yumi in Kaiseresch.

I'm going to fall into clichés here, but it's fantastic here. An oasis of greenery and tranquility. Difficult to find, drove around for 30 minutes, but the remote location of this mill is a plus. Disconnect from the stressful life surrounded by nature.

What a wonderful week we (husband and wife have a baby of 4 months) had. A good house with all the amenities needed. Beautiful surroundings, lovely breakfast outside in the sun! My husband and I were welcomed with open arms by the hostess. We were allowed to stay 7 nights in the converted chicken house, a spacious studio with all the necessary comfort. Behind our accommodation there was a "private" terrace where we could undisturbed enjoy the beautiful nature and the silence. Because of the nice weather we have eaten outside every day and only spent inside for sleeping. Since we are real walkers, there is plenty of choice for trips. The only pity is that the local small trader has almost disappeared. For a fresh breakfast sandwich you had to move to a nearby supermarket about 6 kilometers away from the accommodation. We will definitely be back.

Close to the tourist bustle of the Moselle, good shopping and good roads a great starting point for excursions in the beautiful region. Gertrud and Bernd are a very dedicated hosts. Everything exactly as shown in the photos. Great secluded location, child-friendly and well-kept area. Nice, attentive landlord. Great transport links through the A 48 exit Kaifenheim. You can hardly hear the motorway because the mill is well embedded in the curvy valley away from the village and the surrounding forest is well shielded. Unfortunately, these apartments are only offered through Belvilla.

The very atmospheric location, combined with the welcoming reception, makes us happy to come back. The owner has her roots on the site of the old mill and is told so that your stay gets extra cachet.
