Located in Neumagen-Dhron, this holiday home has sleeping beds for 10 people, although the house is better suited for 8 adults and 2 kids. It is located near Mosel River for wonderful biking, hiking, boating and wine tasting opportunities. It is located within the old Roman Village walls, so the streets are historic. The house has multiple levels and sleeping rooms are upstairs. The kitchen is upgraded with new appliances, a separate dining room and a new TV lounge with a wine bar.
Nearby lie lots of great restaurants, wine shops and grocery stores in the village and the neighbouring villages. There is a cafe across the street with a wonderful bakery.
We have electric heating in all rooms and each room has normal heating controls. There is a wood pellet stove in the kitchen for wintertime use. Please maximize the use of recycling bins. There is a small parking spot in front of the house for loading and unloading of baggage. Please refrain from loud house parties and loud music.

The house was very spacious and suited our idea of a family reunion. It was clean and the landlord came by personally and was very nice. We had enough space with 6 adults, cooked together in the evening and could all sit comfortably. It was an all-round nice weekend in Neumagen-Dhron. The place is great, the only disadvantage was that the baker across the street grumbled because we had bought too many rolls for breakfast ;-).

Arrival at the rental property on Sunday August 1st, 2021 around 4 p.m. After we took the keys from the key safe, we entered the property and looked at the location. After a short discussion we came to the conclusion that we will not stay in the rental property for a day. I now understand why pets are not allowed! In every second corner spiders have spread and where there are no more there are only cobwebs. We then heard a scratching on the upper floor, but could not locate it exactly. Our first guess was that a cat scratched a door, our second guess was unfortunately a mouse or a rat. After this incident, my wife and daughter escaped from the building. The condition of the beds is also objectionable. The large double bed on the first floor has battens instead of legs. Unfortunately, the photos in the ad do not reflect the current condition. We put the key in the safe and left again. I only reached the local contact person by phone on Monday and informed them that their hotline could not be reached.

Cleanliness is different. There was hair in the siphon in the shower. Pots and microwave were dirty. The living room table and floor were filthy. The doorbell is dangerously connected with tangled wires. The slats in the bed cracked. We have never seen accommodation like this before. What a pity :-/

The keys were in a lock box so ease of check in. The owner was easy to reach and communicate with. The home was clean and comfortable. The area was beautiful. The internet was not working and there was no cell phone reception but other than that the house was great.

There are several notes in the house with warnings about the neighbor who would regularly warn the police. For 30 years we go on holiday with the same group of people. we also rented a house several times through Villaxl and were always very satisfied with that. However, now we have a house in Neumagen-Dhron and it is the worst house we have ever rented. There is no flight plan / route available in case of emergency - the fire protection probably leaves much to be desired (there are open electricity cables both within the house as well as in the garden area.- In the garden part also comes the plaster from the walls and here and there are the debris on the ground- In the garden area there are 3 packed clicks on arrival where there is no more rubbish. piles of pizza boxes.- There are empty bottles from previous tenants everywhere - there are 7 garden chairs instead of 8- In the recreation room / living room there are only 4 seats - The heating does not work There is a wood stove but no wood.- There is no folder with all sorts of information regarding WIFI, heating, wood-burning stove and evacuation. - Despite the description on Villaxl there is no freezer available, while all participants eat frozen food. The toilet seat on the third floor has no parking space at the house- There is a wi- rode in a strange spot in the door of the kitchen door that does not work.- The mixer in the kitchen is loose and sometimes there is very long water and when you turn on the tap again it is suddenly burning hot- Also people living in the area indicated that they experienced a lot of nuisance by this location and last were 10 women who had rented the location and who are immediately left again because the total did not meet the expectations and were accommodated elsewhere by the residents. - After telephone contact with a cleaner who is constantly working

The arrival was a bit disappointing, because at shortly after 15 o'clock the accommodation for us was not ready, it was still cleaned and we had to wait 30 minutes with the disabled people. The accommodation inside was neatly clean and nicely decorated. The outside area (terrace ) was an imposition, dirty, filthy, littered, was used as a parking lot for much. 2 garden chairs! After I wrote owner, we had the next day 8 garden chairs. It was a shame that you had no contact person on site.

The accommodation was quickly found. Where we could park was not clear. A friendly neighbor told us that we could put the car on the Mosel side. 5 minutes walk from the house. Quickly unloaded the car and resisted because we already got angry faces from other local residents. The house was a bit messy (lots of pots and stuff, in every corner is something) but everything was clean. Price / quality is good. Quiet village. Restaurant Ausonius is super! Not only pizzas and pasta but also other delicious dishes. We will go back again! Also at Käpt'n Cook it was good to stay. Bicycles rented at the marina. Everything well cared for and in order. Wonderful bike ride along the Mosel to Bernkastel-Keus.

The house is in a very nice village. Spacious house. Nice kitchen kitchen. The heating is a challenge i.v.m. Automatic operation when the cold is outside. That does not work well at this time.

Small not big! It's to do if you go with 10 men but it does not matter! Space appears to be larger in picture as it is. We have enjoyed ourselves and the surroundings remain beautiful.

A nice cottage in a wonderful environment. The owner was very helpful and more than hospitable. From the wall of the terrace the Moselle could be seen and one had a view on vineyards on the other bank. The rooms were partly a bit habituated and a room door was missing. All in all but absolutely adequate for this price and we would definitely come back again!

we were already before we arrived at the cottage surprised by the beautiful region with very nice symmetrical vines also nice steep hill to do with the car. The cottage itself is located in the main street of Neumagen-Dhron, but it is little traffic so we had received no van.We burden and familiarized by Valentino (co-owner's home and adjoining shop) The cottage has 3 2 persoonsbeden of which the first one of 140 cm, and a number of separate beds. The kitchen was slightly smaller than expected, we were 7 people and it went well. Pellet stove in the kitchen was unfortunately no pellets so we did not use, the rest of the heating is electric. it was just a little on the cold side when we were 2017.Aanrader April, the free wine tasting provided by Valentino ... the ladies were happy! The area is fantastic!
