Overall, a beautiful spacious holiday home and large garden, although there are a few downsides: Quiet location (in a dead-end street), unfortunately no reception by the host or hostess. Had to call twice because no one showed up despite the arrival time being communicated before departure. Key obtained with a delay (45') via a safe to still start a nice holiday. The house was clean but not spotless. 1 person bed on the 1st floor is uncomfortable due to a poor bed base and soft mattress, resulting in not really having a good night's sleep, which is a shame because this was reported earlier! There are no mosquito nets provided on the bedroom windows, only on the bathroom window, which meant that upon arrival there were many flies in the house; fortunately, there was a fly swatter available. Currently, there are many wasps in the roof overhang on the side of the master bedroom (balcony), which prevented the window from being opened. The playhouse was not accessible, the stairs were blocked with a chain and a sign warning of a wasp nest in the playhouse. Inside the house, there is no information to be found about a doctor, baker... in the area. In one of the cabinets, there were board games and a basket with brochures about the surroundings. A larger bakery where one can have breakfast or a department store is still a half-hour drive by car. (Adenau or Kelberg) We enjoyed this vacation with our family of four.

The house is beautifully situated house with fantastic views and a complete interior. Furniture is old German here and there, which gives a special atmosphere if you like it (which we did). Culturally, there is a thing not too large distance. The nearby Ahr valley is for lovers of nice villages, hiking and of course wine lovers a must. We spent two weeks in this complete holiday. The owner is very friendly. Benefits * In and around the house are many things for children. So there were water guns ready, because it was super hot weather! * The garden is ideal and well equipped. * It is the last house in a cul-de-sac. Located on a dead end road where no one comes, so very quiet. Double bed upstairs has seen better days, other beds are good! House was neat and clean, only the shower deserves some attention because of black joints. Environment is beautiful, we had a good time for two weeks with max. 30 minutes drive (and then we only went further south because of the major damage caused by the floods slightly further north in the Ahr valley). A beautiful setting, the house is in a small quiet village. It is a spacious house on the edge of the village, with ample parking space. Inside there are spacious rooms with nice, large beds. Bathroom is downstairs, but upstairs is an extra toilet and sink, very nice! The children's room is nicely decorated, our children loved it. (a bunk bed and baby crib, cupboard with some toys and books, a teepee tent and a nice play mat) There is everything available, so you don't have to carry much yourself. (such as a high chair and cot, but also in the kitchen.) The garden is very large and has a nice terrace. Lots of playgrounds for the children and in the evening enjoy peaceful nature and the sunset.

On arrival we were right all happy. What a fantastic holiday! Good layout in this spacious accommodations. Very neat and very clean. The house has thought of everything. Invent it and it is present. The children, 2.4 and 6 years old have a week long entertained with all the toys and facilities around the house. Especially the small wooden children chalet was very popular. Very nice apartment in a rusiig dorpje.Wij enjoyed our vacation.The only downside we found the lack of privacy by the owners themselves - during our stay they were mowing the lawn + garden maintained and this while we sat on the terrace. When we arrived at the cottage we were surprised we glad the house was spotless. Interior was outdated but clean. The joy was short-lived, once we were inside the owner was away ... it happened we put the door of the terrace is open and in no time the whole room full of flies and not a little. Not normal. That is so restrained that we did not not have a time out we zitten.deden though hung a black swarm of flies to let alone cozy outdoor dining around us. We have two weeks to eat with the windows closed in. This has a negative influence on the holiday pressed. 3x perdag the house was sprayed for flies and hundreds maybe a thousand flies we could clean up afterwards. We read in the book that this is a problem is what has been for years. Very sorry to read this. So we Belvilla find that something needs to be done with it because it puts a stamp on the holidays !!! Owners called neatly the morning on the day of arrival to arrange what time we were going to meet.

A lovely house in a very quiet place in a small village. All facilities available to spend a week quietly, clean house, spacious garden and reasonably furnished according to German standards, sober, no frills or unnecessary knick-knacks. This makes the house look a bit chilly and sterile. It must be said that it is clean and well maintained. With two teenagers, having WiFi is a must. This is not a good thought when booking this house. WiFi was therefore not available.



The biggest disadvantage was the small boiler, or the economical adjustment of the boiler. For a house with possibilities for up to ten people, it is quite surprising that the boiler is almost empty after two showers. How you should do this if you are actually with ten people is a mystery to us. We reported this and received a response that it was not known and that an installer would be consulted. In addition, it was requested not to turn on the heating due to the high heating costs. Bit strange when the temperature drops to freezing point at night and is also around 10-12 degrees during the day.



On the above points, after a wonderful location, centrally located in the Eiffel with several nice cities within an hour's drive. And the Nürburgring that we came for can be reached within ten minutes.

A nice cute neat house which is well maintained at the end of a very quiet street opposite the horses. We were nicely received by the nice owner. The house was neat and clean with some dated furniture. The exterior was fairly new where a nice terrace was laid out. We stayed there with 6 adults which was fine to do. Towels and bed linen were provided, even sprinkles and an assortment of books / DVD were to be found. Couple of small comments - The bed where I slept in was already quite sagged, nevertheless it slept well. - TV is an old-fashioned picture tube and that looks not so good (we brought a laptop with us so we watched the necessary movies on it) - some pans were slightly outdated (without non-stick coating) or curved so cooking for 6 people took a little longer. I will definitely come back here again. It is wonderfully quiet with beautiful views of the mountains, horses and trees.

The house is very spacious, large garden where the children can play. The last review we read was rather negative. But fortunately fell on the fly. Well shut the door behind you. We have rented this house with five people. The house stands at the end of a cul de sac in a quiet village. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are good. All windows have shutters. Nice terrace with great playground for the kinderen.De bathroom and kitchen look antiquated, but are fine. The kitchen has lots of equipment and utensils. We have just received. The only "drawback" is that there is no bakery or shop in the neighborhood, but you are within a quarter in Adenau where its ample amenities.

Unfortunately due to bad weather we could not walk, but we are in the game parks in Daun and Gerolstein been. Also leuk.Het house has all modern conveniences and is very clean and tidy.

Of 20 t / m 24 May we are Ferienhaus zum Wäldchen geweest.We have been very pleasant. Beautiful spacious house in a beautiful rural location. And neatly schoon.Het village is very small, no shops, only about 15 houses. You will relax. Beautiful surroundings. Nice walking area. It is a pity that the owner expected to receive an arrival time from us, while the email from Belvilla stated that we could pick up the key between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The owner also thought it was fine to light fireworks. Unfortunately the neighbor didn't, so we went home with our fireworks a day early. But despite these miscommunications we had a great short weekend.

Very nice holiday home. Neat, clean, well maintained and comfortable. Everything is there and very nice with children. Beautiful view and a nice quiet location. During the day you can do a lot in the area (within an hour radius) and then come back quietly.

Owners called neatly the morning on the day of arrival to arrange what time we were going to meet.

A quiet home where everything was staying for a week with 4 adults and 2 children. Neat house with a friendly welcome by the keyholder. The only uncertainty that was there, was where we had our sacks as a dumpster was not aanwezig.Zeker a must for people who like to go hiking in the beautiful scenery that the area has to offer gives.

A lovely house in a very quiet place in a small village. All facilities available to spend a week quietly, clean house, spacious garden and reasonably furnished according to German standards, sober, no frills or unnecessary knick-knacks. This makes the house look a bit chilly and sterile. It must be said that it is clean and well maintained. With two teenagers, having WiFi is a must. This is not a good thought when booking this house. WiFi was therefore not available.



The biggest disadvantage was the small boiler, or the economical adjustment of the boiler. For a house with possibilities for up to ten people, it is quite surprising that the boiler is almost empty after two showers. How you should do this if you are actually with ten people is a mystery to us. We reported this and received a response that it was not known and that an installer would be consulted. In addition, it was requested not to turn on the heating due to the high heating costs. Bit strange when the temperature drops to freezing point at night and is also around 10-12 degrees during the day.



On the above points, after a wonderful location, centrally located in the Eiffel with several nice cities within an hour's drive. And the Nürburgring that we came for can be reached within ten minutes.

We have our family, four children between 27 and 21 years a wonderful weekend at this cozy and very comfortable house. Despite the bad weather, we could enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The stay was really great. The check-in and check-out was uncomplicated. The accommodation was well equipped and really comfortable. We had everything we needed and a lot more. The stay in this house is very good. The property is a bit dated (bathroom), but that is not so bad for us. Bedrooms look very good, and especially the children is beautifully dresses. A DVD player is also available. The garden is very large for children to play. Plenty Privacy is sufficiently available. A disadvantage of a small hamlet as Trierscheid is that there are no shops. The house is beautifully situated house with fantastic views and a complete interior. Furniture is old German here and there, which gives a special atmosphere if you like it (which we did). When we arrived at the cottage we were surprised we glad the house was spotless. Interior was outdated but clean. The joy was short-lived, once we were inside the owner was away ... it happened we put the door of the terrace is open and in no time the whole room full of flies and not a little. Not normal. That is so restrained that we did not not have a time out we zitten.deden though hung a black swarm of flies to let alone cozy outdoor dining around us. We have two weeks to eat with the windows closed in. This has a negative influence on the holiday pressed. 3x perdag the house was sprayed for flies and hundreds maybe a thousand flies we could clean up afterwards. We read in the book that this is a problem is what has been for years. Very sorry to read this. So we Belvilla find that something needs to be done with it because it puts a stamp on the holidays !!! Ferienhaus Zum Wäldchen is a great vacation spot for people who love peace and nature. For small children it is very appropriate, using the large garden with lots of grass and play. For people looking for great entertainment, this is a lesser place. It is a pity that the first large supermarkets are in Adenau (12 km). But the road to it leads to a beautiful landscape.

Very nice apartment in a rusiig dorpje.Wij enjoyed our vacation.The only downside we found the lack of privacy by the owners themselves - during our stay they were mowing the lawn + garden maintained and this while we sat on the terrace. We have rented this house last Pentecost, and it was top notch. Nice and very big house. No noise pollution, good beds, nice sized bedrooms, very child friendly, the tree hut outside super cool. So we enjoyed. 2 small negatives, there were many TV channels but not one Dutch for Kids, after at least 72 channels, I was tired of looking (as it was fresh and thus little went out). We had a lovely relaxing holiday. The residents and owners are most friendly and cordial. The cottage is fully equipped, even for a family like us with small children. There is no washing machine in the house so make sure you have enough clothes with you, but otherwise it's really a very pleasant holiday. The village Adenau is the most practical about groceries etc. Furthermore, in the area regarding culture or days out Bitburg (100km), Trier (100 km) Nurbergring (about 15 km) is the easiest. For hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, it is quite an amazing setting.

A nice cute neat house which is well maintained at the end of a very quiet street opposite the horses. We were nicely received by the nice owner. The house was neat and clean with some dated furniture. The exterior was fairly new where a nice terrace was laid out. We stayed there with 6 adults which was fine to do. Towels and bed linen were provided, even sprinkles and an assortment of books / DVD were to be found. Couple of small comments - The bed where I slept in was already quite sagged, nevertheless it slept well. - TV is an old-fashioned picture tube and that looks not so good (we brought a laptop with us so we watched the necessary movies on it) - some pans were slightly outdated (without non-stick coating) or curved so cooking for 6 people took a little longer. I will definitely come back here again. It is wonderfully quiet with beautiful views of the mountains, horses and trees.

On arrival we contacted the owner and 10 minutes later there was already someone present with the key. Everything was perfectly fine. A beautiful setting, the house is in a small quiet village. It is a spacious house on the edge of the village, with ample parking space. Inside there are spacious rooms with nice, large beds. Bathroom is downstairs, but upstairs is an extra toilet and sink, very nice! The children's room is nicely decorated, our children loved it. (a bunk bed and baby crib, cupboard with some toys and books, a teepee tent and a nice play mat) There is everything available, so you don't have to carry much yourself. (such as a high chair and cot, but also in the kitchen.) The garden is very large and has a nice terrace. Lots of playgrounds for the children and in the evening enjoy peaceful nature and the sunset.

10 minutes after our phone call the keyholder was at the house. Good reception. Because we stayed in this house for the 2nd time, the owner did not have to explain anything. After the key transfer we were able to enjoy the house, view and wonderfully peaceful environment.

Spacious house with complete equipment (plenty of cupboard space, mixer, toaster, toys ..). Very spacious garden with lots of sun but also shade and plenty of play opportunities for children. Located on a dead end road where no one comes, so very quiet. Double bed upstairs has seen better days, other beds are good! House was neat and clean, only the shower deserves some attention because of black joints. Environment is beautiful, we had a good time for two weeks with max. 30 minutes drive (and then we only went further south because of the major damage caused by the floods slightly further north in the Ahr valley). Highly recommended in our opinion!

The farmer next door had calves and found that our kids were great several times a day they took a look and found that the farmer did not mind and told happy about it. Great house and great landlord. Super large garden with even a small playground for the children. Location is very nice and a 15 minute drive from a supermarket and bakery. There is a kitchenette with a dishwasher which is of course very handy. Shower is nice with a good bath. Towels are provided as well as bed linen. There are also some points to note. The frying pans have had their day. We missed bowls in the kitchen. Mattresses were very soft, you fell right through them. Some bedroom doors creak enormously, a little oil works wonders. But that's all. Also really great. If we are in the area we will definitely be back!

We are from Monday 19 to Friday 23 October in this beautiful home on vacation geweest.Het We really enjoyed, the children were also very enthousiast.We have seen much of the environment, we have to Adenau been to Altenahr (cable and toboggan run!) and also to Mayen (recommended: the Eifel Museum tour miners shafts) It was a relaxing and informative trip! The stay was really great. The check-in and check-out was uncomplicated. The accommodation was well equipped and really comfortable. We had everything we needed and a lot more. It was a really great stay and we will be back and recommend the house to all our friends. In particular, the price-performance ratio was absolutely unbeatable.

Nice location, beautiful surroundings, nice and quiet, friendly owner. Some downsides bad beds, lots of flies, constant smell of diesel (owner took this otherwise quite normal), electric cooker worked only half. Quite expensive for what you get for it, but surroundings are beautiful.

The peace and tranquility of the area is lovely, there's Nearby toen.Er too much space in and around the house. As lovers you'll find plenty to your trekken.Het only downside is already flying, there are, therefore it is in the summer almost impossible to eat outside.

well equipped and very neat holiday home located in a small, quiet village, at the end of a narrow street that ends in the fields, with a small grove at the back where a squirrel has his domain. sometimes he comes to the window sill of the terrace! Very quiet location, no traffic at the door (except for a rare tractor) and complete silence at night, already three times and we will definitely return.

Nice comfortable home, especially well equipped for children. Good and quiet environment in a small village. A lot of appliances and (kitchen) equipment was in place, in all a very good and comfortable stay.

A lovely house in a beautiful location, especially with younger children, the safe sheltered garden. We knew not that it was so dark and quiet outside. Very clean and complete house.

On arrival we were right all happy. What a fantastic holiday! Good layout in this spacious accommodations. Very neat and very clean. The house has thought of everything. Invent it and it is present. The children, 2.4 and 6 years old have a week long entertained with all the toys and facilities around the house. Especially the small wooden children chalet was very popular. Nice piece of land and a nice area with horses, cows and sheep. Certainly not the last time we come back in this house. Highly recommended for anyone with children and for nature lovers.

We spent two weeks in this complete holiday. The owner is very friendly. Benefits * In and around the house are many things for children. So there were water guns ready, because it was super hot weather! * The garden is ideal and well equipped. * It is the last house in a cul-de-sac. Wonderfully quiet. * The beds were made and there were several piles of towels. (Even cloths) Saves a lot of luggage. Disadvantages * The front and side borders the house on two farms. And this was also the major drawback of this holiday for us caused an endless stream of flies. Some windows are sticky nets, but for example, the door to the terrace does not have a screen door. When the door opened a few moments you had back within five. After a few days you go there you really annoyed. * Disadvantage of the quiet location is that you have to drive everywhere. Relatively far Want some action with the children you are actually at least half an hour driving.
