It was a wonderfully spacious apartment. Very clean and complete. The access to the apartment consisted of a few steps, a slope, and then two more steps. Not really ideal, especially not for people with limited mobility. Only steps would have been more convenient than the sloped section. Furthermore, the seating in the gazebo was too cold with the constant north wind. So we hardly sat there. The seating by the front door was more sheltered. A place to comfortably read outside all day, however, was not available. We found the living room quite dark. Extra (atmospheric) lighting would be welcome. The bedside lamps next to the bed provided cozy light, but it was not enough to read by. Nevertheless, it is really a very neat and well-maintained apartment that could be fantastic with a few simple adjustments.

We had a fantastic stay at ferienhaus Fries. Gabi, the owner is cozy and hospitable. The house is fully equipped, including a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The house is wonderfully heated with underfloor heating. The area invites you to go for a walk, the house is a stone's throw from the forest. It was also nice that the area was already decorated in Christmas spirit.

Separate living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and small storage space under the (private) staircase. All facilities are present, and everything works as it should, only the extractor fan blows the cooking air directly into the kitchen. Perfect wifi. On arrival there was a bottle of red wine as a welcome gift. On departure again a very sweet gesture (bottle of cava) because of our anniversary. Highly recommended. Beautiful rural, varied and peaceful environment. Remarkably little traffic, traffic lights, speed inhibitors (thresholds), nice places in the vicinity and very atmospheric (Christmas period). Good walking possibilities from the house.

The house was fine. The heating (underfloor heating) was good. Everything was included, so bed linen, kitchen linen, but also toilet paper, tea, sugar, etc. it said. You could neatly separate your waste, so it was very sustainable. The price was also very attractive.

The only disadvantage is that there is no central extraction, but I don't think there is much of that in Germany. So you had to ventilate well to keep the CO2 level below 700 ppm. I always take a CO2 meter with me and that is important for your health. Most people don't realize that.

"In the evening, lights are burning everywhere in the garden outside. There was even a blue tit pair breeding in the bird house. It is quiet and you have a distant view. We saw even regularly the Red Kite that has its hunting ground here.

We could store our e-bikes dry in the garden shed. There was also a socket to charge them. All in all a nice holiday home for a nice price.

Kindly received. Everything was neat and clean. A welcome drink in the fridge for us and a tasty treat next to our bed on the bedside table. Everything is there what you would have at home. We also got offered the opinion that if anything was missing we had to submit it immediately to the owner, but we do not have to do this because everything was provided. A great holiday accommodation! We stayed here for 3 weeks in August/September. You feel at home as soon as you step over the threshold. Clean, spacious, and it has everything you need. Owner was already waiting for us to hand over the key and show us around in the spacious, clean and complete apartment. There is plenty of privacy despite the owners living above it. Environment is beautiful and within a radius of 30 to 40 km there is plenty to do. You can enjoy walking with the various routes. Recommended are the various caves and the maars filled with water where you can swim, these have been old volcanoes.
