The apartment was very neat and spacious. The lady that this is from was very nice to us. Very nice area, especially for walking. House is nice and spacious and clean. The upper floor (only accessible by stairs) is furnished as a holiday home. Downstairs lives an elderly lady, who received us warmly and informs about the environment and facilities. Behind the house a large garden with swing and lawn. Here you can also barbecue. Kitchen could be arranged more convenient but satisfactory. Bathroom bath with shower under sloping roof. People & gt 1.75 can not take an upright shower. But otherwise fine.Huisje is in Hohegeiss, small cozy village. Bakery and shop where you can get fresh bread in the morning. The apartment, Sternenblick is located in a hilltop village and is simply furnished, without excessive luxury, no WiFi and no dishwasher, but everything you need is there. The apartment is on the 1st floor, with a private entrance, the basement is occupied by a friendly old lady who's always in a good mood. A nice holiday house, clean, spacious and comfortable. No private entrance but enough privacy on its own floor. Communal garden with all kinds of garden furniture, BBQ and toys. Tourist info had many tips and our children visited the forest pool with pleasure (free) The train to Brocken we found too expensive, 18 eur pp it is to walk for experienced hikers!

A door was broken and when we found out who exactly was responsible for the apartment, the door was repaired immediately. Garden could not be used because the lawn was very high. The environment was very nice and there were many hiking trails there. By bus you can go to Braunlage (watch out do not drive often).
