Stylish and unique interiors of this holiday home in Twistetal-Oberwaroldern of Hesse region will surely impress the 22 guests that can accommodate here. There is a private sauna for 6 to rejuvenate you and plenty to do for kids. It is ideal for many families as well as elderly guests.
This is a very popular house because of its central location in Germany and not far from many different active / cultural activities. Bad Arolsen/Twistesee offers a beach pool with a playground and terrace. ResidenzSchloss Arolsen castle is not far either and is built in Baroque style. National Park Kellerwald Edersee is a park of 5700 hectares with walking and cycling paths. Baumkronenweg Edersee offers unique tree top walks. Cafe Emma, Am Pranger and Kiepe are some restaurants worth visiting. You can ski with the whole family in Willingen, about 40 km from Ober-Waroldern.
The centrally heated home has a private terrace, where you can enjoy your meals. The private garden is the perfect spot to unwind. Barbecue and a well-equipped kitchen let you cook sumptous meals and enjoy them on the dining table (suitable for 22 guests). All the rooms are equipped with heating facility so that you don't feel cold. The home has its own parking facilities for at least 10 cars. For your entertainment purpose, there is a table tennis table and football game (for its usage, it is advisable to ask the owner).

Everything went smoothly. The house was big enough for 10 adults and 11 children. A 2-bed room even remained free. The lounge with table football was a highlight for the children. There is a lot to explore in the area. We can highly recommend the house and area!

Thank you for the lovely stay! We had a great weekend in the house with 11 friends. It is a bit nested, but offers each or each smaller group a space of their own. Otherwise nothing was missing in the house! The small hall in particular was great for sitting together longer in the evenings. We would love to come back and thank you especially for the warm welcome in the house!

The house owner received us very friendly and showed us all the rooms. We moved in with 16 people (including 8 children) and were happy to have already made beds and freshly brewed coffee. The house offers a lot of space on two floors, so that smaller groups could withdraw. The many bathrooms were all very clean. The area is beautiful and quiet (apart from the church bell that rings exactly at seven o'clock) and is ideal for numerous hikes. Geocaching fans will also get their money's worth here. We also recommend the Edertalsperre, which is about 25 minutes by car to the south and offers something for the youngest with a climbing park, adventure path and petting zoo. We all felt very comfortable and thank our hosts for the pleasant time of relaxation!

We were 15 people (former friends / class reunion with annex) and will book the house at the next meeting again. Reasons for this - well-kept holiday home in a small village - all technical equipment (eg coffee maker, stove, oven, dishwasher, TV) worked flawlessly very clean and in very good condition (newly renovated or hardly worn) - living and dining area as well as lounge large enough for the number of persons- next shopping facilities in Korbach (7 km distance) - in 30 minutes driving time, the tourist resorts Willingen and Winterberg are centrally located in Germany (ideal for gatherings of families from different regions) - Handing over the house was very thoroughly done-bail was quickly returned

It is a very large converted farmhouse, in which one can at first go downright. However, it is never too tight for many people. The rooms are lovingly furnished, and are constantly being improved. The surrounding area invites you to walks and hikes, several lakes are easy to reach.

We were with 14 people between 0 and 45 years of age in the house - in the cold season, when it rains. Our projects again to see us and try new board games so nothing stood in the way. In the House is a lovingly restored farmhouse has all of us very much. There are a few more than necessary but doors. The house is spacious and offers enough retreat. The rooms were all very clean and the beds were comfortable. In the former threshing floor of the spa offered in the meantime place, there is a very comfortable lounge. go to breakfast enough space in another room with kitchen, so that you the threshing floor at night does not have to clean up directly. Nearby there is the Edersee, which offers many recreational opportunities. But we were only in the game park. In the nearby town of Korbach, there is great shopping and restaurants that spontaneously have space for larger groups.

The arrival was uncomplicated and the welcome cordial. After a long visit and instruction, (many rooms) we received the keys. Our landlord was also available in between questions. Due to a water damage (we were already informed before our arrival) were two rooms and a living area with foils partially demarcated and the area somewhat reduced. Nevertheless, that was very well done and for our stay at all no disadvantage. As an excuse, there was even a cake. Thanks again. The house is definitely very well equipped, with enough porcelain, glasses and cookware and tiptop clean. In any case, you did not get the idea to first rinse and clean everything. Top! The rooms are overall nicely decorated, with very good mattresses and bedding. We felt very well and could have lasted even a few more days. We can recommend the object in any case.

Great welcome! All the beds are well prepared and the coffee is ready! A lovely house with lots of space, plenty of seating and many bathrooms. Very nice in a company with 7 female teenagers. The kitchen was well-appointed with more than enough crockery, cutlery and pens. Surrounding area is very beautiful. Lots to see and do. Shop is 20 minutes drive but that was not a problem for us. We woke up early in the morning at the church bell that sounded for a long time. But, that went. Overall, had a great time!

We were 15 people (former friends / class reunion with annex) and will book the house at the next meeting again. Reasons for this - well-kept holiday home in a small village - all technical equipment (eg coffee maker, stove, oven, dishwasher, TV) worked flawlessly very clean and in very good condition (newly renovated or hardly worn) - living and dining area as well as lounge large enough for the number of persons- next shopping facilities in Korbach (7 km distance) - in 30 minutes driving time, the tourist resorts Willingen and Winterberg are centrally located in Germany (ideal for gatherings of families from different regions) - Handing over the house was very thoroughly done-bail was quickly returned

The arrival was uncomplicated and the welcome cordial. After a long visit and instruction, (many rooms) we received the keys. Our landlord was also available in between questions. Due to a water damage (we were already informed before our arrival) were two rooms and a living area with foils partially demarcated and the area somewhat reduced. Nevertheless, that was very well done and for our stay at all no disadvantage. As an excuse, there was even a cake. Thanks again. The house is definitely very well equipped, with enough porcelain, glasses and cookware and tiptop clean. In any case, you did not get the idea to first rinse and clean everything. Top! The rooms are overall nicely decorated, with very good mattresses and bedding. We felt very well and could have lasted even a few more days. We can recommend the object in any case.

We had a very nice stay with Peter and Annemarie in Ober-Waroldern. The house is very suitable for a large group of up to 20 people and has a good room layout. The rooms are all very well kept, there are several bathrooms, some with and without a shower. The large kitchen in the lower area of the house with connection to the living room offers plenty of space to eat together and in the living room you can pass the time comfortably in the evening. The outdoor area is also very spacious with play facilities for the little ones and a beautiful terrace. But what the children liked best was the open and loving manner of Peter and Annemarie, who they even took with them to the chickens and rabbits. The highlight was then the visit to the farmer next door. In any case, we all felt very comfortable and will be back next year.

The house owner received us very friendly and showed us all the rooms. We moved in with 16 people (including 8 children) and were happy to have already made beds and freshly brewed coffee. The house offers a lot of space on two floors, so that smaller groups could withdraw. The many bathrooms were all very clean. The area is beautiful and quiet (apart from the church bell that rings exactly at seven o'clock) and is ideal for numerous hikes. Geocaching fans will also get their money's worth here. We also recommend the Edertalsperre, which is about 25 minutes by car to the south and offers something for the youngest with a climbing park, adventure path and petting zoo. We all felt very comfortable and thank our hosts for the pleasant time of relaxation!

We were a group of 10 adults and 8 children. The house is well equipped for large groups and, thanks to the large kitchen, cozy living room, separate lounge and beautiful large garden (also with seating), offers enough space for everyone in any weather. Thanks to various bathrooms and toilets, there is no long queuing necessary. For the children there are plenty of opportunities to play on site and in the garden. The landlords live next door and are very nice and helpful. They also offer a carriage ride with a small pony and the children can dress up for it. We'll definitely be back!

On arrival there was coffee with goodies ready, so attentive! And the beds were already made, very nice! The accommodation is wonderfully spacious and fully equipped! Even enough for small children. The area is quiet and we all found it very ok.

We were welcomed very friendly. Good accommodation for a large family (3 generations) in a quiet, small but well maintained village. The announced sauna was the sauna fans unfortunately not hot enough (only 60 °). But otherwise there is nothing to complain about. We were very satisfied.

The accommodation was very nice and big. Through the lovingly furnished lounges, we felt very comfortable there. The furniture was also new and great. The kitchens in the house have everything you need. The many bathrooms are also beneficial for a larger group.

We were as friendly as last year. The accommodation is well maintained and very clean. In the direct environment is mainly a lot of nature. Due to storm Frederike and the season, the nearby Wild Animal Park Edersee and the treetop path were closed. As a mini-hike the castle ruins Eisenberg is suitable. We (8 adults and 8 children aged 0 to 14 years) had a very nice board game weekend.

We were with 14 people between 0 and 45 years of age in the house - in the cold season, when it rains. Our projects again to see us and try new board games so nothing stood in the way. In the House is a lovingly restored farmhouse has all of us very much. There are a few more than necessary but doors. The house is spacious and offers enough retreat. The rooms were all very clean and the beds were comfortable. In the former threshing floor of the spa offered in the meantime place, there is a very comfortable lounge. go to breakfast enough space in another room with kitchen, so that you the threshing floor at night does not have to clean up directly. Nearby there is the Edersee, which offers many recreational opportunities. But we were only in the game park. In the nearby town of Korbach, there is great shopping and restaurants that spontaneously have space for larger groups.

Thank you for the lovely stay! We had a great weekend in the house with 11 friends. It is a bit nested, but offers each or each smaller group a space of their own. Otherwise nothing was missing in the house! The small hall in particular was great for sitting together longer in the evenings. We would love to come back and thank you especially for the warm welcome in the house!

Everything went smoothly. The house was big enough for 10 adults and 11 children. A 2-bed room even remained free. The lounge with table football was a highlight for the children. There is a lot to explore in the area. We can highly recommend the house and area!

We were there with our huge family last year in June with 20 adults and 6 children. We were warmly welcomed and no matter when we had questions we were immediately and well looked after. Unfortunately, the weather was not so nice that we could explore the beautiful landscape only one afternoon. For the sauna we had to pay nothing, which is inclusive. We were very well received with a hot pot of coffee. Accommodation is maintained with care and many things are also very new. It is in an environment where there is a lot to see, so plenty to do. But in and around the house there is actually already enough to do.
