The cottage is cleaned regularly, after each change of tenants
The floors are cleaned with special antibacterial cleaner, as are all the surfaces.
The bed linen is generally washed at 60 degrees.
There is disinfectant spray for you in the house, which you should use first every time you enter the holiday home.
The holiday home is fully equipped. The 60 sqm living space leaves nothing to be desired. It is divided into 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 living-dining room.
A recently completely renovated, fully equipped kitchen with a ceramic cooker with oven, microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment, 1 bathroom with shower/WC, LCD LED TV, radio and DVD player are available. An internet connection (WLAN) is available free of charge. A cot/child's high chair can also be provided. The house has a garden with sunbathing lawn and covered barbecue area. Parking space at the house. The house is equipped for senior citizens.

You will find a baker, butcher, grocery shop, restaurant and café in the village. Waldeck-Freienhagen is easy to reach from Holland, the Ruhr area and Münsterland.
The holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village without through traffic (dead-end street). There are many leisure activities in the vicinity: hiking, cycling, swimming, sailing, golf, spa, excursions to the Edersee, Bad Arolsen, Kassel, Bad Wildungen, visitor mines, summer toboggan run, and much more!
Lake Edersee is an absolute must. In the evening after sunset, the barrier wall is spectacularly illuminated!
There are good shopping opportunities in Kassel (38 km). Go shopping and feast in the various cosy towns around Freienhagen. Korbach (20 km) and Bad Arolsen (15 km) are very worthwhile. In Bad Arolsen you will also find the castle where Princess Emma zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, later Queen of the Netherlands, was born in 1858.

Great house, beautiful surroundings
Dear Künzl family,
We had a wonderful week in your holiday home. Everything went smoothly from booking to departure. Your house is very well-maintained, and you find everything you need there. The surroundings are also very beautiful; we took a long walk with our dog every evening. Afterwards, we could enjoy the evening on the balcony with a lovely view. We would be happy to come back again and will definitely recommend you. Many dear greetings from the North Sea coast.

Quiet holiday home located in a secluded, sunny area on the outskirts of the village. The house has a spacious garden with a terrace and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Ideal for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility and relaxation.

We felt very comfortable
We stayed in the holiday home between the years. The handover was contactless and worked great, the house was very clean and there is everything you need for a holiday. We had our 2 dogs with us and it is ideal because beautiful field paths start directly from the holiday home. The surrounding area is also great for exploring. We visited the towns of Korbach and Bad Wildungen and went to the Edersee and the Weidelsburg. All in all, we would love to come back.

Holiday home Künzl Freienhagen
Repeat offender with 2 dogs: great holiday home, very nice landlord, optimally and quietly located, great for hikes from the house... large balcony to end a nice day. Equipment complete, in the village of Freienhagen a butcher with bread sales, otherwise rather non-touristy (no shops/restaurants) - but exactly right for us... For meals, you just have to look for something on the way or drive again in the evening. Very nice - highly recommended for those looking for peace and nature... Will gladly come back.
