Great accommodation: well-equipped for families with a large garden. Only the climbing frame could use a fresh coat of paint, and the outdoor furniture could be cleaned occasionally. Inside, everything was very clean. We found it unfortunate that the washing machines and the sauna were not listed as paid amenities. We thought €5 per wash load was quite excessive and unjustified, as we also did not see any laundry detergent. We were missing a few more glasses and dishes; we had to gather everything from both vacation apartments. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

We felt very comfortable and the space for 10 people was perfect. Only in House Berta was the coffee machine not quite working (it automatically turned off several times, even though there was still water in the tank) and there were no sharp knives (vegetable knife and bread knife).

Our "detached" house turns out to be a half of a duplex with an additional apartment with 2 bedrooms; in total, there are 5 bedrooms as shown in the pictures, but unfortunately, the description did not state that these are 2 completely separate apartments with a shared property. The upper hammer was that "sauna," if I may call it that, for me it was a sweat box with 1 square meter of space, where only 2 normally built people can sit. On the door, it was written in large letters 5 euros per hour to throw in the savings box. Now I understand why there were no proper pictures of the sauna. For me, this sweat box should not be called a sauna; with a group of 8-10 people, the sauna session can drag on sooooo long... Both apartments have everything you need with different cutlery and cups. One downside is that we first need to descale the coffee machine before we can drink coffee at all. There is a good grill and fire pit on the property.

We had a good time overall. You can take various excursions in the area. Wismar, Schwerin, and Lübeck are easily accessible. The beach in Boltenhagen is also easily reachable by bike. The accommodation has everything you need. Even a washing machine in both accommodations. The landlord wants €5 per wash. That is quite sporty, considering two weeks for €3000 for both accommodations. These are more suitable for families with small children. Those who prefer a quieter and more peaceful atmosphere should look for a different accommodation. Next door, things can get quite lively. I don't just mean the family with the unruly children. Apparently, there is also a fondness for celebrating with party music. If you like that, you are exactly right here. In any case, we have decided to leave on Friday.
