This quaint farmhouse is located in Houffalize, in the Belgian Ardennes region. Ideal for family or group of friends, it can accommodate 7 guests in its 3 bedrooms. There is a roofed terrace for you to relax and linger until the late hours.
The forest lies 200 m from the farmhouse. Agrogolf Montleban golf course is 500 m from the home to spend a day out with your dear ones. Houffalize town centre and restaurants are 7 km away.
An open kitchen with cooker, hood, coffee machine and washing machine are in place for you to prepare meals of your choice. A childrens bed is provided to the little ones. Wood stove and heating are provided to keep you cozy while holidaying. You can park your vehicle in the parking available. You can access the garden for some outdoor times.

Very nice location, beautiful and quiet area, ideal for walking and cycling (MTB) (from the Gîte or in the vicinity). Very quiet and yet only 10 "from Houffalize. The gîte is spacious and all comfort (all kitchen appliances, dishwasher, washing machine / dryer, ..) is present. The owner is a super sympathetic man. The building looks old on the outside, but inside you have every comfort. Very friendly welcome, It was nice and warm in the house where the wood burning stove was pleasantly burning. Wonderful place to really unwind. Outside the busy villages of Houffalize, roche and ardenne, but easy to drive by car. Also used as a base for MTB tours. The owner is very friendly, French speaking, but is useful with Google translate and so we can still talk! Our family also helped with milking the cow! We really enjoyed the location, having a nice breakfast in the garden in the morning, while the horses come to look curious. "Eating in the evenings under the shelter in front of the house. Ideal for people / families who enjoy a feeling of freedom and do not want to sit in parks between the crowds.

We were received in a very friendly, hospitable manner. The owner shared his experience with us and let us feed the animals and milk the cow, a unique experience. Then we could drink the tasty milk. The cottage lkigt very pretty central in the Ardennes. You can directly make a nice walk in the woods. Motorcycles were allowed to stand in the large Stable. The owner keeps a few horses and cows. For chldren. We were a group of 7 people and 7 engines. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook for a larger group. The iegenaar built the house itself. Bastogne is not far from this place. There is a wonderful museum about WWII

We (parents with children aged 1 year, 4 years and 5 years) have been very entertained for 2 weeks. Really recommended for rest seekers and people with children! The farmer speaks French only and we only Dutch, but with google translation you come together a lot. The children are entertained with chickens and horses. Many times watched the cow milking and even making the butter. We could also make a trip with horse and carriage with the farmer! Really nice. In the cottage there is nothing missing and it is very spacious. Everything is in the kitchen. But there is also toys and tourist info (hiking maps). For our 1 year son, there was a high chair, cot and all stairs. The outside area also had a covered veranda and a spacious garden. From the house you walk into the forest and have a nice view. By car you will be in Houffalize in 15 minutes and all other beautiful places. A recommended for families with children is the footpath near Montleban.

Pleasant reception with a friendly tour through the cottage, where also attention was paid to the activities in the area. We were originally looking for a week of rest, but when the extremely sympathetic owner Michel suggested to us to participate in his activities on the farm, we thought that was fun too. We were warmly welcomed and immediately received information about the area, places that are worth a visit and the different walking routes. It was a perfect combination of rest and relaxing activities. We have milked the cow, made butter, trimmed the hooves of the horses, went to a water mill with the carriage to make Michels grind grain, get wood in the forest, ... But those who do not feel like it are not required to participate naturally. The owner has a dog but even our quirky Malamute agreed with it! The cottage is equipped with every comfort (household appliances, washing machine, wifi, dryer, good bath / shower) and very cozy! We were lucky with the weather and could have aperitifs on the sunny terrace. The area is very beautiful for walking, there are even places where there is absolute silence. In short, a wonderful holiday!

We have been here with 3 children (5,3,0) a midweek. The cottage is very spacious, looks really nice and is very clean. Very child-friendly. It is an old-fashioned farmer with a few horses, cows, sheep and chickens. The surroundings are beautiful. Very nice location, beautiful and quiet area, ideal for walking and cycling (MTB) (from the Gîte or in the vicinity). Very quiet and yet only 10 "from Houffalize. The gîte is spacious and all comfort (all kitchen appliances, dishwasher, washing machine / dryer, ..) is present. The owner is a super sympathetic man. Children can help themselves with the cows and horses !!The fact that the g iste is in the same place where the owner lives never gives you an unpleasant feeling, on the contrary.We will definitely come back here.Hilke, Lare, Heidi & Dries

A spring week already allows us to enjoy the well-oriented terrace and the garden while finding the warmth of the wood stove at the end of the afternoon. An excellent base for many walks, especially in Houffalize, in the Parc Naturel des Deux Ourthes...but also in the Eifel and the Eastern Cantons. The enthusiastic and communicative owners share their experience of working with wood, the vegetable garden...

We had a nice holiday together with our 2 French bulls. From the cottage we were immediately in the forest where we could walk peacefully and endlessly, delicious! That's what we went for. Also visited by car some villages and towns in the neighborhood. The cottage was also great, very clean and a nice interior. A large balcony with beautiful views and also a large enclosed garden. Fine for us and for the dogs.

Super friendly reception. Have been allowed to milk a cow with the owner, nice experience (and afterwards received delicious fresh milk for free). Nice for walking, many routes leave directly from the cottage. Properly polished. A real Ardennes holiday.

We were received in a very friendly, hospitable manner. The owner shared his experience with us and let us feed the animals and milk the cow, a unique experience. Then we could drink the tasty milk. The interior was very cozy, especially the lack of the TV downstairs was an added value for cozy talk at the wood stove.
