Weekend away with children and grandchild (2 years). House located on the street, but little traffic. Beautiful view from the terrace. Spacious home, neat and tidy. High chairs and 2 cribs available. The house is child-proofed with, among other things, gates at the stairs. Safety gate around the wood stove. Friendly owners. Beautiful area for walking. Barefoot trail 3 km away is highly recommended. No shops nearby, but in Houffalize there is a supermarket where you can buy everything (7 km).

The cottage at the farm was very well equipped. Very cozy furnished. Many walking opportunities in the area and on the owner's recommendation, we went in search of the beaver lodge. We also received a tour of the farm, which was very interesting. Our dog was also very welcome and he enjoyed the large enclosed garden. So definitely a recommendation!

We were 3 people, so plenty of space. It was a very nice stay. Extremely friendly people. Proud of their country and animals. Everything is still done the old-fashioned way. Milking the cows by hand. Plowing the land with the horse. We received fresh milk from the cow every morning, and also eggs from the hen. I would definitely go back, a great place to stay wonderfully. TOP!!!!!

What a lovely stay! The farmhouse in Houffalize was perfect for our family getaway. The cozy interiors and wood stove created a warm atmosphere, especially during the cold evenings. In general, our stay was pleasant. The farmhouse offered plenty of space for our group of friends. We particularly appreciated the separate TV room on the second floor, which worked well for our movie nights. Very nice house, friendly owners, and a good place to explore the area. However, we chose this house thinking there wouldn't be anyone next to us. So we were very unhappy with the fact we had a big camper next to us which apparently are friends of the owner. Had we known this we would not have booked. We always book way in advance to make sure we have no neighbors, but we might as well have booked at a campsite.

We had a great time at this farm! The kids loved the garden and the terrace was super fun for evenings outside. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We even had a barbecue one night, which was a party. Just a short drive to Houffalize for food and shops, so it was really convenient. Would definitely recommend this place to friends!

We were originally looking for a week of rest, but when the extremely sympathetic owner Michel suggested to us to participate in his activities on the farm, we thought that was fun too. We have milked the cow, made butter, trimmed the hooves of the horses, went to a water mill with the carriage to make Michels grind grain, get wood in the forest, ... We did not experience any noise pollution from the road at the house. It is a quiet area. You can go for walks straight from the house with the children and dog. The homeowners are very nice and give you privacy. We were even allowed to milk the cow, got eggs from the chickens and there was a bottle of fresh milk ready on the outside stairs every day. The first supermarket in the area is in Houffelize, 8 km away. 18 minutes by car you are already in a large shopping centre in Luxembourg. A visit to the caves of Remouchamps is highly recommended. From the citadel in Dinant you have a wonderful view of the Meuse.

The homeowners are very nice and respect your privacy. We even got to milk the cow, received eggs from the chickens, and there was a bottle of fresh milk waiting on the outdoor steps every day. The nearest supermarket is in Houffelize, 8 km away. In 18 minutes by car, you are already in a large shopping center in Luxembourg. A visit to the caves of Remouchamps is highly recommended.
