Located in the Cetturu area in Ardennes, this holiday home with 6 bedrooms, a private sauna, private pool, and a beautiful garden with a barbecue is great for families with children.
The house is completely private, so you will be away from prying eyes as you spend time with family. Stunning views of the valley on both sides of the home welcome you. You can even go for a hike or go cycling through the numerous mountain bike trails nearby. You can also relax on the spacious terrace and enjoy the barbecue. Comfortably use the pool which is normally heated between June and September. Unheated in the winter months, but still available for a cooling dip after using the sauna.
With ample space for 12 people, the garden has a heated swimming pool (June-September) which looks out into a beautiful meadow. The pool is not heated in the winter months, but still available for a cooling dip after using the sauna. You can buy general supplies at the town centre which is about 9 km away, where you will also be able to find restaurants if you want to eat out. There is also a lake about 10 km away.
The nearest airport is Verdun-Le Rozelier Airport in France which is 45 km away. Other forms of public transport can also be found around 9 km away at the town centre.

We stayed during a recent weekend with six couples in this cottage. Each couple had a nicely decorated room and almost everyone had a private bathroom. Because of the bad weather we did not have much to do Saturday but the cottage was well equipped for a nice afternoon of making sauna, nice and large sitting area with TV and DVD player and a nice big table for board games to play. "In the evening we visited the Achouffe brewery (which is highly recommended) and then we had dinner at" Chez The Rick "in Brisy (small cozy restaurant which is more like a cafe). Sunday we walk. The walk we had picked around we could unfortunately not attend because of the hunting season. When we have yourself a route mapped out and we crossed the beautiful fields and woods nearby. We hope definitely come back to come, but in the summer so we can enjoy. also the pool

Had a wonderful weekend in this house, we were 6 couples. Enough space. Beautiful views. Beautiful walks. Extremely quiet. There are deer in the garden, which is quite unique. The swimming pool and the interior have just been freshened up, which cannot yet be seen in the photos. The welcome was personal and warm. The only minor downsides could be: For the sixth bedroom you have to go through the fifth. The rented part is the ground floor and not the entire building as shown in the photos. The nearest cafe is more than 5 km away.

We have received a very warm welcome from the owners. Although we passed on a change the same day and 2 extra people came along, the owner immediately exempt a room and prepared it. Owners are also very helpful in informing about opportunities in the area. You immediately get a good warm home feeling. We were there with cousins for a private family event and this was the perfect place for that. The GPS (also Waze) sends you the last kilometer wrong. Therefore it is best to enter the coordinates instead of address data. The welcome was very good. On arrival you call a number and in less than 5 minutes there is a super friendly lady to welcome you and show you around the house. Beautiful house nice rooms, stylishly decorated and super view! However, the house is not for 14 people as stated but for 12 adults + possibly a child under 3 years (baby cot provided). The description says 6 x 2p bedroom and 1 x 2p walk-through room which suggests that there are 7 fully-fledged 2p bedrooms. Chances are that the owners themselves are at home and there is no privacy in the garden, this is nowhere mentioned. Fortunately during our visit the owners were not present and so we had all the peace, quiet and privacy that we wanted.

All in all the holiday house was great! Especially the pool, the sauna, the meadow and the large couch, on the really all had space. Too bad we found that on the website partly other photos are uploaded (possibly photos of another floor) as our ground floor apartment. The apartment itself was great, there is nothing to complain about. However, it would be useful to point out that you are not renting the whole house, but only a flat in it. We would rent this house again and recommend.

For the first time there were three couples on stage. (6 babies / toddlers along) We'll never find a better home! Everything was really trimmings. To cot / nursing pillow and chair yours! There were some plumbing problems, which after our stay were opgepakt.Ook we had a hard four-burner hot plate. That did not work well and was complicated. The weekend of 9 March we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with children and grandchildren in this fantastic house. The experience was more than a confirmation of the reviews we read in advance. Beautiful spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet and a large living room. The large dining table was a nice place for the banquet. Order a dinner at home from a local restaurant and arrange dinner service via the owner. We could not have wished for a more luxurious and intimate way. Outside we have a good time in the spacious and child-friendly garden. The deer were a sight. The house is a great base for various trips in the area.

The house itself was reasonable. There was a lot of information about the surroundings. No description of equipment, no locks on bathroom and toilet doors. No towel rack when you walk out of the shower. Clutching of garden doors and toilet broken so that someone has locked up in the toilet Several toilet goggles were loose. No control at the start of what was wrong, it would have to pay a deposit. Many fly and other insects in the house due to lack of horror. Freezers of refrigerators could not be used because doors were broken. Well, you can get another freezer yourself! Sorry to say something wrong. The house is not well maintained. They are the little things they do. The layout of the house was very good, so everyone had his own place.

On Friday night we arrived and were welcomed by a friendly lady who showed us around the beautiful house with sauna and swimming pool. At last she was told that the pool was already filled! Something we did not anticipate that our stay was too early in the year. This was a nice perk, especially for the grandchildren! It was lovely to stay in this beautiful big house, we were 9 people, including 2 grandchildren. The pool is frequent and prolonged use because of the beautiful weather. The beautiful view of the Ardennes and the deer meadow immediately gives a rustic impression. The house is fully equipped. A spacious room to eat and sit, nice bedrooms and a good kitchen. Because of the beautiful weather we had, we spent almost every day and evenings outside. In warm weather, the pool is a great opportunity to cool off or to enjoy a swim. Along with other couples have stayed a long weekend at this location. What a beautiful place and stay was this! Very nice house with really all conveniences. Equipped with luxury and plenty of space for all friends. Cherry on the cake was the pool and terrace where we could eat and drink very relaxed every day. Plus was the perfect weather. The deer at sunset were fantastic too! The owner was at home and very helpful with questions and issues that were like garbage bags etc. Totally not bothered by the fact that she was home. We might come back more often, definitely a must if you just want to be completely away in peace!

We were kindly welcomed by a Dutch speaking lady. Then we were given a tour of the house and pool (heated) .Allways were well looked after and plenty of space. Outside, you had a beautiful view of pastures where a group of ravens walked, unfortunately before the slaughter. The village was about 15 minutes drive, but a nice village, Houfalaise.

The house is in a wonderfull location amidst green hills and valleys. It is silent and there is a vast meadow with a flock of deer for idyllic scenes. The house has a sea of space. The downside is that the home and the garden furniture know some overdue maintenance.

La maison d 'Helene is beautifully situated with unobstructed and panoramic views. The pool and terrace was a lovely place it all and enjoy the beautiful weather. House is ideally suited for families to spend together. During good the holidays again you can put together around the table eating outside. The children have run on the grass, gefrisbeed and located in the sun. When the weather is in the area more than enough with a larger group, including bringing.'s children by children many games have done. Area is ideal for cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians. we enjoyed!

We went for 5 days with a group of 9 people in the Maison d 'Helene. The house was absolutely great, exactly as shown in the pictures and in reality actually be even nicer if you were on site., The equipment of the house was great , for example there was towels for the sauna, a super Weber grill, a small welcome gift. Communications with Krist "l was super easy and uncomplicated well in advance. The pool was cleaned and preheated for a small Extragegebühr also outside the actual opening times for us. Beside the house is a even a small football field, which was mowed just for us again. From the owner, there was locally tips for trips and the corresponding shopping, really great! We have already previously booked 2x houses over Belvilla (in Malmedy and Durbuy), but this was by far the best! Conclusion We definitely come again)

We had a wonderful weekend in the Ardennes where the residence has a very positive contribution. The house is spacious and modern and has a warm atmosphere. Everything is clean, neat and well and works great. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including basic spices, etc. Outside is a lovely pool and the lawn is perfectly maintained. Very nice were the weber BBQ and fire pit. The sauna is a must, it is easy to use and works well. The bedrooms are all very nicely decorated and have a luxurious look. The owner is very friendly. We stayed there until late in the evening and very helpful with questions. Definitely recommended!

A long weekend with family with out steps nearby. Pleasant welcome and plenty of information leaflets on what to do in the area. Lovely sauna and the beds sleep very comfortabel.Tip garbage should be strictly separated. It is easy as there is in the kitchen several bins are and you do not have to drag him into another room with you. Wastes Into the bank is not comfortable and should have good pillows, like the dining room chairs. Hostess was very friendly and helpful and easily accessible.

We were very friendly, guided in Dutch even and expertly. The surroundings are very quiet and the view is formidable.The accommodation is top The bedrooms are beautiful, spacious, cozy and the beds are excellent. The whole house is spacious and cozy and the many bathrooms make it very practical for a large group. In the living room is a very large table (nice for 12 people!), A large sitting area and sufficient light. The kitchen is a gem of a lot of beautiful cutlery, good appliances, special cachet. Due to the beautiful weather (still on September 23rd and 24th September), we enjoyed the swimming pool with sun loungers, the large terrace with plenty of garden chairs and the well-kept garden and petanque court. We have been here with a group of 9 people (men) in July 2018. We are very well received. Very friendly woman! Very clean house and fully equipped. There is plenty to do in and around the house (petanque, swimming pool, maps, etc.). Also in and around the vicinity of Houffalize there is plenty to do such as visiting the beer brewery Achouffe. Visiting the war team in Bastogne and doing activities (mountain biking and abseiling in our case). Also close to the border Luxembourg where we have the necessary groceries for our weekendje.Het only drawback is that there are almost no taxis in this area, so here you have to come up with something! We would like to go here again ! in one word fantastic!

Nothing but praise !!! We had a great week with our children and grandchildren. Each family had its own bathroom and then that long table outside. We imagined ourselves with that beautiful view in a commercial which was shot in Italy. Given the very hot weather this week, the pool was a welcome refreshment. well organized and the few questions we had during the week were always answered in a friendly and efficient way. Finally a great kitchen, where we, the children and the older grandchildren could prepare their chosen menu. 1 tip for the owner. the exit to the outside with a screen door, because oh oh there were so many flies !!

We arrived a little earlier than expected. No delayed traffic. Owner allowed us to arrive 2 hours earlier. Too bad this was unknown for cleaning. It is a beautiful house in a very beautiful area.
The house is very spacious, so there is enough room for 11 people to have a pleasant stay.
What we only have to say is that the stove for 12 people is very small and slow. The WiFi network is also minimal for these times with many options.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. A lovely house, nice large living room sofa and long table. Enough bedrooms, a very complete kitchen and lots of bathrooms/toilets. The sauna at the house was also a big plus, as was the swimming pool.
The immediate surroundings of Cetturu are beautiful and the large hilly meadow with the deer made the view very special!

This home is perfect for a group of girlfriends. We are 9 girls stayed four nights but had wanted to stay much longer. The house is very spacious, clean and has everything you could want from kitchen equipment to games. The garden is large and mega pool makes it complete. We recommend this house to anyone!

We had a wonderful weekend in the Ardennes where the residence has a very positive contribution. The house is spacious and modern and has a warm atmosphere. Everything is clean, neat and well and works great. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including basic spices, etc. Outside is a lovely pool and the lawn is perfectly maintained. Very nice were the weber BBQ and fire pit. The sauna is a must, it is easy to use and works well. The bedrooms are all very nicely decorated and have a luxurious look. The owner is very friendly. We stayed there until late in the evening and very helpful with questions. Definitely recommended!

We had the whole family a super stay at Maison d 'Helene. Quite a nice place you stand face to face with a group of deer! From the terrace and you have an infinite view of the hills. A very luxurious house and very tidy . The swimming pool, sauna, petanque court and its large, beautiful terrace were big pluses., we are completely at rest. Each had plenty of privacy and no hassle with queuing to shower, because there are four bathrooms! Rooms were far enough apart so as not to each other. wake Houffalize, La Roche and Achouffe (brewery!) are definitely worth a visit. Warm welcome by the homeowners. Overall, highly recommended!

With a group of 12 men had a great weekend! Was a really beautiful setting. Shame about the weather, which was slightly less. If it had been warmer we had fixed the pool which can be used more intensively. That is unfortunately only sporadically. Everything else is really top of the house. The beds were quite something for us small, but that will be our length (12 basketball players). What is important to know the landlords live upstairs residence. Is something to be reckoned with. Unconsciously, we still felt a bit watched.

Our experience at La Maison d'Helene was perfect! The house guests were available to every question we had and made us feel at home! We loved the countryside with the view and the few animals we could see from the house! We enjoyed the swimming pool, the huge grass fields, the big tables, the soccer field and the interior of the house. We were a group of 10 students and found the house perfect for our necessities. La maison d 'Helene is beautifully situated with unobstructed and panoramic views. The pool and terrace was a lovely place it all and enjoy the beautiful weather. House is ideally suited for families to spend together. During good the holidays again you can put together around the table eating outside. The children have run on the grass, gefrisbeed and located in the sun. When the weather is in the area more than enough with a larger group, including bringing.'s children by children many games have done. We went for 5 days with a group of 9 people in the Maison d 'Helene. The house was absolutely great, exactly as shown in the pictures and in reality actually be even nicer if you were on site., The equipment of the house was great , for example there was towels for the sauna, a super Weber grill, a small welcome gift. Communications with Krist "l was super easy and uncomplicated well in advance. The pool was cleaned and preheated for a small Extragegebühr also outside the actual opening times for us. Beside the house is a even a small football field, which was mowed just for us again. From the owner, there was locally tips for trips and the corresponding shopping, really great! We have already previously booked 2x houses over Belvilla (in Malmedy and Durbuy), but this was by far the best! Conclusion We definitely come again)

In a word excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the surrounding area. At reception you will feel welcome immediately. Delicious that the beds are neatly made, which are also lovely. The house itself was reasonable. There was a lot of information about the surroundings. No description of equipment, no locks on bathroom and toilet doors. No towel rack when you walk out of the shower. Clutching of garden doors and toilet broken so that someone has locked up in the toilet Several toilet goggles were loose. No control at the start of what was wrong, it would have to pay a deposit. Many fly and other insects in the house due to lack of horror. Freezers of refrigerators could not be used because doors were broken. Well, you can get another freezer yourself! Sorry to say something wrong. The house is not well maintained. The weekend of 9 March we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with children and grandchildren in this fantastic house. The experience was more than a confirmation of the reviews we read in advance. Beautiful spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet and a large living room. The large dining table was a nice place for the banquet. Order a dinner at home from a local restaurant and arrange dinner service via the owner. We could not have wished for a more luxurious and intimate way. Outside we have a good time in the spacious and child-friendly garden. The deer were a sight. Equipped with luxury and plenty of space for all friends. Cherry on the cake was the pool and terrace where we could eat and drink very relaxed every day. Plus was the perfect weather. The deer at sunset were fantastic too! The owner was at home and very helpful with questions and issues that were like garbage bags etc. Totally not bothered by the fact that she was home. There is plenty to do in and around the house (petanque, swimming pool, maps, etc.). Also in and around the vicinity of Houffalize there is plenty to do such as visiting the beer brewery Achouffe. Visiting the war team in Bastogne and doing activities (mountain biking and abseiling in our case). Also close to the border Luxembourg where we have the necessary groceries for our weekendje.Het only drawback is that there are almost no taxis in this area, so here you have to come up with something! We would like to go here again ! in one word fantastic!

Very friendly reception Accommodation is very clean and meets all requirements of comfort (fully equipped modern kitchen with enough material, nice bathrooms, sauna, bedrooms, ...). Very nice view from the terrace / pool area is very quiet and invites to pleasant walks. The pool is rather for cooling off on hot summer days than for swimming. The description says 6 x 2p bedroom and 1 x 2p walk-through room which suggests that there are 7 fully-fledged 2p bedrooms. Chances are that the owners themselves are at home and there is no privacy in the garden, this is nowhere mentioned. Fortunately during our visit the owners were not present and so we had all the peace, quiet and privacy that we wanted.

We were warmly welcomed and shown around the beautiful house that was also very clean. The house is in a beautiful area with lots of space around the house. The beautiful view of the Ardennes and the deer meadow immediately gives a rustic impression. The house is fully equipped. A spacious room to eat and sit, nice bedrooms and a good kitchen. Because of the beautiful weather we had, we spent almost every day and evenings outside. In warm weather, the pool is a great opportunity to cool off or to enjoy a swim. The spacious table in the garden and the various separate seating areas also make your stay outside complete.

Nothing but praise !!! We had a great week with our children and grandchildren. Each family had its own bathroom and then that long table outside. We imagined ourselves with that beautiful view in a commercial which was shot in Italy. Given the very hot weather this week, the pool was a welcome refreshment. well organized and the few questions we had during the week were always answered in a friendly and efficient way. Finally a great kitchen, where we, the children and the older grandchildren could prepare their chosen menu. 1 tip for the owner. the exit to the outside with a screen door, because oh oh there were so many flies !!

We have received a very warm welcome from the owners. Although we passed on a change the same day and 2 extra people came along, the owner immediately exempt a room and prepared it. Owners are also very helpful in informing about opportunities in the area. You immediately get a good warm home feeling. We were there with cousins for a private family event and this was the perfect place for that. House is fully equipped.-Quiet environment-Many rooms-Owners were present one floor above but give you the privacy that you expect. (And help) -Hygienic -Beautiful view Definitely worth repeating.

Our whole family enjoyed it very much in a beautiful house with its own pool in the large backyard. Beautiful view over the Ardennes; also on a beautiful herd with deer and roe deer. It was a wonderful long weekend!

All in all the holiday house was great! Especially the pool, the sauna, the meadow and the large couch, on the really all had space. Too bad we found that on the website partly other photos are uploaded (possibly photos of another floor) as our ground floor apartment. The apartment itself was great, there is nothing to complain about. However, it would be useful to point out that you are not renting the whole house, but only a flat in it. We would rent this house again and recommend.

The house was perfectly fine and fully met our wishes. Notwithstanding the bad weather, we were able to enjoy ourselves in the swimming pool and the sauna provided a wonderful feeling. The holiday home is in a very quiet location surrounded by beautiful nature.

On Friday night we arrived and were welcomed by a friendly lady who showed us around the beautiful house with sauna and swimming pool. At last she was told that the pool was already filled! Something we did not anticipate that our stay was too early in the year. This was a nice perk, especially for the grandchildren! It was lovely to stay in this beautiful big house, we were 9 people, including 2 grandchildren. The pool is frequent and prolonged use because of the beautiful weather. The food with the whole group at the big table was a delight in itself. Me z 'n all good snavelen, chat and have fun. Perfect !!!

Because we were we with children and grandchildren has been a long weekend to this beautiful country 40 years married. Each had a fine room with all the amenities for the youngest, who enjoyed every day of the sheep and deer. Also the pool was fine, even though it was a bit chilly outside (30 degrees water temperature). The landlady was very friendly and attentive. So I can go on and on, in a word Super !!!

We had a nice holiday. It is very spacious, with several processes bathrooms. The large table where everyone can sit comfortably together is fun. We are sorry that the garden was not ready. The pool was not finished and the garden was not in order. From the cottage there are several hiking trails that leave the owner has made. This is very nice. Also we enjoyed the sauna after a brisk walk.

A long weekend with family with out steps nearby. Pleasant welcome and plenty of information leaflets on what to do in the area. Lovely sauna and the beds sleep very comfortabel.Tip garbage should be strictly separated. It is easy as there is in the kitchen several bins are and you do not have to drag him into another room with you. Wastes Into the bank is not comfortable and should have good pillows, like the dining room chairs. Hostess was very friendly and helpful and easily accessible.

We have our parents and our two children experienced a wonderful holiday at La Maison d 'Hélène. Nice interior, fantastic rooms, super nice kitchen and living room. We could really indulge us. The area is fantastic for walking and cycling . An ideal holiday location for those with children will enjoy the peace and the environment in the Ardennes.

The house was scored very high. However, probably several years ago. The place is extraordinary ad a location and especially the deers add a lot. That is why we score good. But the place needs maintenance, an id-link as wifi for a house with up to 12 people? The out door shower for the pool was out of order. The coverage aside the pool needs maintenace as well.

It was a brief search for the exact location. Reception was fine. House completely. We once used a walking route, and that was nice too. It would be nicer if it was clearer how much cash we should have on arrival.

With a group of friends and a small child, we had a great weekend here. Despite the bad weather we have been able to enjoy in the beautiful house us well. We really enjoyed the sauna and swimming pool. The barbeque we hope to try). Next time with better again The house is very nice, well decorated and well cared for. The owners are very nice and helpful. Nearby are plenty of things to do such as hiking and mountain biking. We will definitely come back sometime!

We stayed during a recent weekend with six couples in this cottage. Each couple had a nicely decorated room and almost everyone had a private bathroom. Because of the bad weather we did not have much to do Saturday but the cottage was well equipped for a nice afternoon of making sauna, nice and large sitting area with TV and DVD player and a nice big table for board games to play. "In the evening we visited the Achouffe brewery (which is highly recommended) and then we had dinner at" Chez The Rick "in Brisy (small cozy restaurant which is more like a cafe). Sunday we walk. The walk we had picked around we could unfortunately not attend because of the hunting season. When we have yourself a route mapped out and we crossed the beautiful fields and woods nearby. We hope definitely come back to come, but in the summer so we can enjoy. also the pool

La maison d 'Helene was the ideal base for a wonderful Easter weekend. A beautiful and clean home with plenty of space and all the necessary luxury! Also the warm unfeasible forgotten. Definitely worth repeating.
