Very nice stay, beautiful large rooms, clean bathrooms and kitchen. The deer enclosure adjacent to the garden is a nice plus, especially for children. Nice large sofa. We were with a group of 10 adults and 3 children, and the spaces were large enough that everyone could do their own thing and those who wanted could retreat for a while. The sauna was also nice, only we sometimes had trouble getting it set up properly, which meant it sometimes took a long time to reach temperature. In conclusion, we definitely recommend this accommodation!

We had a wonderful stay in this great house. The house is well maintained, there is a beautiful garden with a lovely view and a meadow full of beautiful, tame deer that regularly come to visit. The house has a nice heated pool and a sauna, which we also enjoyed using. The contact with the owner was very smooth and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this stay, five stars as far as I'm concerned!

We arrived a little earlier than expected. No delayed traffic. Owner allowed us to arrive 2 hours earlier. Too bad this was unknown for cleaning. We were also warmly welcomed and shown around by Katrina. Accommodation is very generous. Beautiful surroundings all show satellite images more forest than there really is.

Beautiful house nice rooms, stylishly decorated and super view! However, the house is not for 14 people as stated but for 12 adults + possibly a child under 3 years (baby cot provided). The description says 6 x 2p bedroom and 1 x 2p walk-through room which suggests that there are 7 fully-fledged 2p bedrooms. Chances are that the owners themselves are at home and there is no privacy in the garden, this is nowhere mentioned. Fortunately during our visit the owners were not present and so we had all the peace, quiet and privacy that we wanted.

Very friendly reception Accommodation is very clean and meets all requirements of comfort (fully equipped modern kitchen with enough material, nice bathrooms, sauna, bedrooms, ...). Very nice view from the terrace / pool area is very quiet and invites to pleasant walks. The pool is rather for cooling off on hot summer days than for swimming. Only minus perhaps is that luggage (drinks / food) rather far from the parking to the kitchen should be worn.

There is plenty to do in and around the house (petanque, swimming pool, maps, etc.). Also in and around the vicinity of Houffalize there is plenty to do such as visiting the beer brewery Achouffe. Visiting the war team in Bastogne and doing activities (mountain biking and abseiling in our case). Also close to the border Luxembourg where we have the necessary groceries for our weekendje.Het only drawback is that there are almost no taxis in this area, so here you have to come up with something! We would like to go here again ! in one word fantastic!

Along with other couples have stayed a long weekend at this location. What a beautiful place and stay was this! Very nice house with really all conveniences. Equipped with luxury and plenty of space for all friends. Cherry on the cake was the pool and terrace where we could eat and drink very relaxed every day. Plus was the perfect weather. The deer at sunset were fantastic too! The owner was at home and very helpful with questions and issues that were like garbage bags etc. Totally not bothered by the fact that she was home. We might come back more often, definitely a must if you just want to be completely away in peace!

On Friday night we arrived and were welcomed by a friendly lady who showed us around the beautiful house with sauna and swimming pool. At last she was told that the pool was already filled! Something we did not anticipate that our stay was too early in the year. This was a nice perk, especially for the grandchildren! It was lovely to stay in this beautiful big house, we were 9 people, including 2 grandchildren. The pool is frequent and prolonged use because of the beautiful weather. We had the whole family a super stay at Maison d 'Helene. Quite a nice place you stand face to face with a group of deer! From the terrace and you have an infinite view of the hills. A very luxurious house and very tidy . The swimming pool, sauna, petanque court and its large, beautiful terrace were big pluses., we are completely at rest. Each had plenty of privacy and no hassle with queuing to shower, because there are four bathrooms! Rooms were far enough apart so as not to each other. wake Houffalize, La Roche and Achouffe (brewery!) are definitely worth a visit. Warm welcome by the homeowners. Overall, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful weekend in the Ardennes where the residence has a very positive contribution. The house is spacious and modern and has a warm atmosphere. Everything is clean, neat and well and works great. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including basic spices, etc. Outside is a lovely pool and the lawn is perfectly maintained. We stayed during a recent weekend with six couples in this cottage. Each couple had a nicely decorated room and almost everyone had a private bathroom. Had a wonderful weekend in this house, we were 6 couples. Enough space. Beautiful views. Beautiful walks. Extremely quiet. There are deer in the garden, which is quite unique. The swimming pool and the interior have just been freshened up, which cannot yet be seen in the photos. The welcome was personal and warm. The only minor downsides could be: For the sixth bedroom you have to go through the fifth. The rented part is the ground floor and not the entire building as shown in the photos. The nearest cafe is more than 5 km away.

Had a wonderful weekend in this house, we were 6 couples. Enough space. Beautiful views. Beautiful walks. Extremely quiet. There are deer in the garden, which is quite unique. The swimming pool and the interior have just been freshened up, which cannot yet be seen in the photos. The welcome was personal and warm. The only minor downsides could be: For the sixth bedroom you have to go through the fifth. The rented part is the ground floor and not the entire building as shown in the photos. The nearest cafe is more than 5 km away.

We stayed during a recent weekend with six couples in this cottage. Each couple had a nicely decorated room and almost everyone had a private bathroom. Because of the bad weather we did not have much to do Saturday but the cottage was well equipped for a nice afternoon of making sauna, nice and large sitting area with TV and DVD player and a nice big table for board games to play. "In the evening we visited the Achouffe brewery (which is highly recommended) and then we had dinner at" Chez The Rick "in Brisy (small cozy restaurant which is more like a cafe). Sunday we walk. The walk we had picked around we could unfortunately not attend because of the hunting season. When we have yourself a route mapped out and we crossed the beautiful fields and woods nearby. We hope definitely come back to come, but in the summer so we can enjoy. also the pool

We didn't lack anything at La Maison d'Helene. It's a truly beautiful house with plenty of space and certainly enough bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was very neatly finished and everything was provided. Communication went very smoothly and last-minute changes were not a problem. The pool was wonderfully heated and we definitely enjoyed it. Plenty of sun loungers for everyone. Parking next to the house. I would definitely recommend it, we will certainly be back!

Beautiful accommodation. The house is fully equipped. Beautifully situated. Lots of space. Nice reception. Really enjoyed the sauna and the pool. Also nice that the pool can be closed off with a roldeck for the grandchildren. In short, highly recommended!!! It's a pity that there is no outdoor playground equipment for the little children.

We have received a very warm welcome from the owners. Although we passed on a change the same day and 2 extra people came along, the owner immediately exempt a room and prepared it. Owners are also very helpful in informing about opportunities in the area. You immediately get a good warm home feeling. We were there with cousins for a private family event and this was the perfect place for that. House is fully equipped.-Quiet environment-Many rooms-Owners were present one floor above but give you the privacy that you expect. (And help) -Hygienic -Beautiful view Definitely worth repeating.

The house was perfectly fine and fully met our wishes. Notwithstanding the bad weather, we were able to enjoy ourselves in the swimming pool and the sauna provided a wonderful feeling. The holiday home is in a very quiet location surrounded by beautiful nature.

The GPS (also Waze) sends you the last kilometer wrong. Therefore it is best to enter the coordinates instead of address data. The welcome was very good. On arrival you call a number and in less than 5 minutes there is a super friendly lady to welcome you and show you around the house. Tastefully decorated house with lots of privacy (due to the many sanitary facilities)

The house is very spacious, so there is enough room for 11 people to have a pleasant stay.
What we only have to say is that the stove for 12 people is very small and slow. The WiFi network is also minimal for these times with many options.

Beautiful house nice rooms, stylishly decorated and super view! However, the house is not for 14 people as stated but for 12 adults + possibly a child under 3 years (baby cot provided). The description says 6 x 2p bedroom and 1 x 2p walk-through room which suggests that there are 7 fully-fledged 2p bedrooms. Chances are that the owners themselves are at home and there is no privacy in the garden, this is nowhere mentioned. Fortunately during our visit the owners were not present and so we had all the peace, quiet and privacy that we wanted.

All in all the holiday house was great! Especially the pool, the sauna, the meadow and the large couch, on the really all had space. Too bad we found that on the website partly other photos are uploaded (possibly photos of another floor) as our ground floor apartment. The apartment itself was great, there is nothing to complain about. However, it would be useful to point out that you are not renting the whole house, but only a flat in it. We would rent this house again and recommend.

For the first time there were three couples on stage. (6 babies / toddlers along) We'll never find a better home! Everything was really trimmings. To cot / nursing pillow and chair yours! It was delicious. Beautiful walking paths from the house. Sofa in the living room is a large garden-set, which makes it less attractive to there with z 'n all sit. Good beds, nice sauna and fully equipped kitchen. Nice little place to go back to.
