We were there with 6 adults and 4 children. The house met our group's needs in terms of kitchen, cooking utensils, and bedrooms. There were enough play opportunities for the children. There was a large garden, but it had a steep slope at the front of the house leading to the public road, so it was dangerous for young children. The stair gate in the house could not be securely closed. There was no separate option to change a baby/toddler. The homeowner lives across the street and was approachable and friendly to us. All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay there.

House is okay, somewhat dated. Cooking for many people is difficult due to the small gas stove. It is mentioned that the energy is separate. On arrival the door was already opened so could immediately in the house, owner lives opposite the house and came to welcome us and give the necessary explanation. Despite the changeable weather we have enjoyed this home and many existing play opportunities in and outside the home. The inventory is fine, only we missed a meat tin, wok and thermos for coffee. Location of the house is really ideal, but you're so quiet in Malmedy. The paintball in the snow at Sniper zone (2km) was great. It is wise to bring snow chains if you want to paintball. The accommodation is about a 10 minute drive outside of Malmedy, in a quiet area. The reception was good and we were right in where everything is looked after very well. The owner does not speak Dutch or English but poor German and more French. Everything was neatly explained. On the second day the power went out at 0700 hours this morning and I was myself again not good when I went to the other side to ask for help to the owner. He was immediately willing to come and the problem was solved. If you are with a larger group (we were 9 people) owe preventing the hot water on top is if everyone uses row of the shower. Below this was not the case. The sauna works fine. The stove is a four burner unit and when up to 12 people will be cooking the macaroni and no elaborate meal. Keep in mind that separates the waste well. The owner emphasizes this when arriving. Besides the basic price and the security deposit (€ 500, -) you pay for final cleaning, gas, water, electricity, waste levy and toeristenbelasting.In the area you can cycle, walk, eat visit in Malmedy castle to COO for adventure or to Francorchamps . Our holiday from 28.02 to 04.03.2011 was very nice, the house is very well equipped with many games, two camping cots and two highchairs. The area is really beautiful even though we had no snow. The owner is very friendly, german and french speaking. The heating is electric which can be very expensive in the winter but the deposit of 300 euros was enough for the whole week with 6 adults and two children. The playground in the garden was very popular. The TV has satellite connection so you can ned.1, 2.3 and received "the morning also disney xd, and other stations, no rtl 4 sbs6. We have a number of "old" roommates our annual reunion celebrated in house La Detente. A lovely house with more than enough space and opportunity to relax. The sauna and relaxation room is TOPDe device had us a bit more modern liked but despite that we can not comment on the price-quality ratio. Recommended and very nice house for 10 people and 2 babies. Welcome and comfortable accommodation costs immediately handled. There are 2 cots, 2 high chairs and a fence so that small children are not too close eye must be kept. The cottage was ok, clean, everything a man should have to get away. There is much in the home itself, such as a wellness area, board games, a playground in the garden and a limrek with slide, ... You can also do as much outside house, paintball, kayaking, Plopsa, walks. There is enough informaitie in the house what you can do there. You are only a short 10 min by car from town malmedy remove and there you have many shops. MIN POINT is the small refrigerator in the kitchen that worked so well nie making our food was spoiled but with washing machine, a large refrigerator and that worked perfectly.

It was superb, with six adults and our 4 grandchildren we have enjoyed, walked a lot and our grandchildren, then great time behind the house with the many games that there was .the property was totally renewed and the two showers, kitchen, new floor tiles very pretty amazing, it really is a must and definitely value for money. Congratulations to the owner !! there was between the living and the living room a super gas fireplace that gave a very cozy atmosphere in the evening and a lot of heat, also the rooms and the beds were perfectly fine, and very very important neat, the owner has designated us a very good baker, and in the end a correct statement, we will be back !!!

With 10 people one had wonderful stay in this spacious accommodation near the town of Malmedy. Many hiking, biking and nice cozy done indoor activities. Especially the billiards and table tennis is widely used by the people under us, and the sauna was eagerly used by the ladies. With five adults and five children aged between nine and 16 years, we have had a wonderful stay. The weather was magnificent.

Lovely home with many recreational facilities, including our diverse group, ages 12 to 80 years, much use has been made, table tennis, billiards, air hockey, foosball and relaxation area with sauna and solarium. Also visited places like Malmedy, Robertsville, Coo, etc. The house is very centrally located. Despite poor weather, we could not sit on the terrace or in the garden, we have entertained us well. For the youth, oldest 18 and youngest 5 years, sports and games. We are a group of friends for a weekend after La Detente been. Upon arrival, we are very good and friendly welcome. Then had a great weekend. The house is perfectly meets the expectations of a holiday. We also really liked that there were many amenities such as sauna, jacuzzi, table tennis and barbecue. Here we have also made good use. The adults have beautiful walks. Malmedy was also worth visiting. But especially the smaller children (5, 7 and 12 years) have extremely entertained. Outside of a facility which they used as a privateer ship. Was They then used sticks that they had brought as a pseudo-weapons and without hurting each other. Walk a joint Inside there was a lot to do with a kicker game, a pool table and table type wave. (I do not know the exact name) This device has almost stopped because the adults could enjoy themselves thereon. Every year we go with the whole family (daughters, sons and grandchildren) on weekends, somewhere in the Ardennes. Until now it was always at a different location but very likely we will be back next year to La Détente, especially at the request of the children.

Just back from a week in La Detente. With 8 adults and a baby was fine stay! We enjoyed the luxury of the indoor sauna and relaxation area. Delicious after a few outdoor activities (caving and mountain s). With 10 people one had wonderful stay in this spacious accommodation near the town of Malmedy. Many hiking, biking and nice cozy done indoor activities. Especially the billiards and table tennis is widely used by the people under us, and the sauna was eagerly used by the ladies. The adults have beautiful walks. Malmedy was also worth visiting. But especially the smaller children (5, 7 and 12 years) have extremely entertained. The accommodation is about a 10 minute drive outside of Malmedy, in a quiet area. The reception was good and we were right in where everything is looked after very well. The owner does not speak Dutch or English but poor German and more French. Everything was neatly explained. On the second day the power went out at 0700 hours this morning and I was myself again not good when I went to the other side to ask for help to the owner. He was immediately willing to come and the problem was solved. If you are with a larger group (we were 9 people) owe preventing the hot water on top is if everyone uses row of the shower. Below this was not the case. The sauna works fine. The stove is a four burner unit and when up to 12 people will be cooking the macaroni and no elaborate meal. Keep in mind that separates the waste well. The owner emphasizes this when arriving. Besides the basic price and the security deposit (€ 500, -) you pay for final cleaning, gas, water, electricity, waste levy and toeristenbelasting.In the area you can cycle, walk, eat visit in Malmedy castle to COO for adventure or to Francorchamps . This is definitely a must. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated and there is enough space. The cottage is very well situated and also a very child friendly environment especially since there is little traffic in the immediate vicinity of the cottage. There is plenty to see and do in the vicinity of the cottage and the center of Malmedy is certainly cozy and beautiful. We will definitely go back there for a weekend is too short.

The cottage was ok, clean, everything a man should have to get away. There is much in the home itself, such as a wellness area, board games, a playground in the garden and a limrek with slide, ... You can also do as much outside house, paintball, kayaking, Plopsa, walks. There is enough informaitie in the house what you can do there. You are only a short 10 min by car from town malmedy remove and there you have many shops. MIN POINT is the small refrigerator in the kitchen that worked so well nie making our food was spoiled but with washing machine, a large refrigerator and that worked perfectly.

Super house, The house itself is spacious and well maintained. Gaming room in the back garden and sauna were a real added value. Owner was very friendly. Location of the house is really ideal, but you're so quiet in Malmedy. The paintball in the snow at Sniper zone (2km) was great. It is wise to bring snow chains if you want to paintball. In short, great place to spend a weekend with a group of students.

Recommended and very nice house for 10 people and 2 babies. Welcome and comfortable accommodation costs immediately handled. There are 2 cots, 2 high chairs and a fence so that small children are not too close eye must be kept. Our holiday from 28.02 to 04.03.2011 was very nice, the house is very well equipped with many games, two camping cots and two highchairs. The area is really beautiful even though we had no snow. The owner is very friendly, german and french speaking. The heating is electric which can be very expensive in the winter but the deposit of 300 euros was enough for the whole week with 6 adults and two children. The playground in the garden was very popular. The TV has satellite connection so you can ned.1, 2.3 and received "the morning also disney xd, and other stations, no rtl 4 sbs6. We have a number of "old" roommates our annual reunion celebrated in house La Detente. A lovely house with more than enough space and opportunity to relax.
