This holiday home is ideal for several families or groups of friends. It is blessed with a wonderful location in the Ardennes, so hiking, cycling and nature lovers usually have a particularly good time here.
The house is in a quiet location on the edge of the forest, so you can start your days with a healthy morning walk through nature. Take a cycling or hiking tour of the region and in the evening visit one of the nearby restaurants (1.5 km).
The well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave offers the chef at heart the opportunity to show off his/her cooking skills. Relax with a good book in the garden and end the day with a cup of tea on the charming terrace. Wi-Fi is available in the holiday home.

Family stay at the end of August at Git’anne. We were made to feel welcome on our arrival. The cottage is spacious, the pool sauna jacuzzi area is very good. The games room is well equipped unfortunately the fitness equipment is old and most don't work at all. Several light bulbs no longer worked. The cinema room is fun. The living space lacks a cozy lounge area (this one is in a separate room near the pool, quite impersonal, and we have never been there) the kitchen is well equipped except for the wine glasses : there were only 5 or 6, some, microscopic .. we had to buy some, the vacuum cleaner works very badly.:. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, but there is virtually no storage for clothes. The cottage is well located for walks but it is by the side of a busy road, the rooms in front are therefore noisy (could not sleep with the windows open)

Arrival was good. Of the 15 parking spaces, only 5 turned out to be. The concierge was very friendly. He immediately solved the problems. The house itself was in good condition and clean, but outdated. But everything you need is there. Too few deep plates for the number of people. Too few glasses of the same type. The utilities at checkout are quite high, please mention this on the site.

Very nice, only the sitting room uncomfortable. The bedrooms are excellent, but there is little pressure if you want to take a shower and the special shower did not work. The environment is nice and not too crowded

At first glance the accommodation was down. This was due to a quick trip upon entry by the "owner". But soon there was irritation due to all kinds of filth, bad hygiene and insufficient water in the bathrooms. That was very unfortunate.

A lovely large house with all the comforts. This allowed us to our family consisting of 4 families a weekend enjoying each other and the opportunities offered by the house. Lovely talking to the pool or sauna suits it is possible in Britain. Unfortunately, there is quite a high versus low price.

With my (wheelchair bound) father brothers, sister and grandchildren had a wonderful weekend. Just a few boards on the threshold to the pool and we could put my father through the entire ground floor around (except the movie theater). The grandkids have been delightfully entertained, we had time to get together in peace to speak, in the beautiful surroundings to walk in the jacuzi relaxing or toning, in the garden we have barely been (it rained a lot) but I think good with a large group BBQ.

We were there with a group of 14 people. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather so we could not really make use of the large garden and the terrace. But the house itself there were enough possibilities and premises to sweeten the day there! Only the location on a busy main thoroughfare is for people with mild sleep may be a Problem.Das was taken over pre-cleaned and the contact with the person in charge was very nice. We were instructed in all circumstances. Certainly one could improve one or the other in the house, but that's not really the one responsible nennenswert.Leider spoke no English site. So it was not quite so easy to follow the statements / declarations. For French or Flemish speaking people certainly not a problem. Conclusion: with our group we can well imagine there again to go!

Was a lot of piece such as shower heads, the jacuzzi, the pillow filters only when the bubbles are off in the pool, the drain was broken. The TV was very unclear and it was still snowing. There were several boxes in bios that didn't work. The crockery was insufficient. Not cleaned in the kitchen and bedrooms. Armchairs are worn out beds too soft dishwashers not suitable for 15 people. We have had a nice week all in all. Upon arrival everything was still dirty, everything was full of flies, the spaghetti sauce was still in the jars and against the kitchen cupboard. The curtains in the bedrooms were almost all loose. The house is really outdated the settlement costs are very high! The jacuzzi and sauna are also old and not working properly. For this price you expect that at least everything is in order! Lucky that the environment is great.

Photos no longer reflect reality. of the flies and other insects, we had to buy insect spray.According to description there were 2 toilets on the ground floor, however 1 was closed with the text "out of order".Dangerous power cables and plugs at the bar.Lighting pool was broken , there was only 1 lamp on. Hot tub outdated and did not function properly because the controls were completely worn. It was advised to shower before using the pool d, however, there was no shower, nor a Turkish bath that according to description had to be present. Terrace and garden poorly maintained. BBQ could not be used, there was no umbrella but a broken umbrella base. Autumn leaves piled in the corners of the patio. Bocce courts overgrown with grass. Very high shrubs at the terrace. The photos show beautiful patio furniture, now there were weathered picnic tables. Bedrooms were also not luxurious, sanitary facilities were sometimes outdated, toilet seat loose and crooked, toilet bowl leak, bedroom curtains often hung on only a few rings and could not closed. Beds sagged. Despite the disappointment, we as a family made it a nice weekend, the cinema was great, the other games also functioned well. However, we are not used to renting a house with so much overdue maintenance and I was ashamed of my family that I had booked this house. As proof I took pictures of everything.

Very much enjoyed the accommodation with a group of friends. Exactly as you would expect to see from the photos. Owner had prepared two casks of Stella Artois, ideal. Only pity was that the wifi did not make it to the cinema so we could not use our chromecast, little thing, there was plenty of other entertainment. Gas, water and electricity cost about €500 for a long weekend.

We have been going on holiday with a number of families during the autumn holidays for several years. This house was really one of the better ones we have had over the years. Especially because the combination of small children and large children is not a problem here. The soundproofing in the house is good + the entertainment area is NOT covered by the sleeping quarters. Ideal if the little kids have to sleep in the afternoon and the teenagers absolutely want to play billiards. For the teenagers, the cinema present was the highlight! They spent several hours here. We found a few minor issues: something is wrong with the electricity. After inserting 2 gourmet sets, all electricity went out. In 1 couple everything stayed on. We couldn't get the fitness equipment to work. There was no manual and the seating area of 2 devices could not be moved. The jacuzzi was not working properly.

Everything was there to make it a great week, even with the bad weather. We are sorry that the fitness equipment is not functioning. Please note that with the final bill you will be charged for electricity, fuel oil and water ... also the number of garbage bags and coffee pads used are charged ... in the end you still have to pay around € 600 for that utility, which is quite high. But all in all I cannot complain and all my guests had a very pleasant holiday in the most beautiful region of the Ardennes.

The git’anne is ideal for a stay in the Hautes Fagnes. What a joy to dive in the pool and in the jacuzzi after a good hike. Also ideal with teenagers for the cinema room and games. Francoise, who greeted us with a big smile, is super responsive if there is the slightest problem. She gave us lots of walking advice. We highly recommend.
