Unfortunately a less good experience. On arrival it was freezing in the house, because heating based on the stove happened, it took a long time before it became pleasant. The cottage was very clean and equipped with every comfort, cozy furnishings and ample place to stay with children for several days. If the cottage had not been on a road right away in the forest, this was even more interesting for the children, but the woods were quite close. The location of the house was perfect. There was a lot of green and was located close to the river Ambleve. Here you could walk along well and enjoy the rippling water. There were adequate facilities in house, such as the fireplace and cooking and certainly not least, a good stereo. The owner was really the audio and video. The Ninglinspo is great and close to the cottage is the beginning of the Fund Quarreux, good for a lovely walk along the Amblève, where this piece of large boulders in the river. A visit to the castle of Modave is highly recommended and the castle ruins of Franchimont and Logne are worth. Something that we thought was very nice the good Dutch speaking caretaker, who was very nice and helpful. All in all, we think this house is a must.

Comfortable vacation in the cozy "Wood dream". Close to beautiful walks start. The cottage is near a railroad, but here you have no problems. Terrible by a friendly hostess. One downside was that there was still dirty dishes in the cabinets, while still cleaning price is pretty high. The arrival was super pleasant there was an apero cheese and there was a beer ready. Going out was also nice, because at the door were delicious sweets. The meter readings were noted on arrival. We had a wonderful and relaxing week in wood dream.Het is a nice and comfortable cabin which is equipped with almost all the comforts! The fireplace is really delicious and it is very nice that you can turn the stove. The sound system has speakers in the bathroom you can turn a knob, this is very nice if you just want to enjoy good in bad.De hostess Pascale is very friendly and welcoming and had us a nice bottle of beer, bottle of orange juice and a cheese put ready in the ijskast.Er were even sweets have your questions on the cabinet next to the voordeur.Als or ask for something in the area you can Pascale, my friend had her birthday on holiday and we were his parents and two friends visiting, so we asked where we could get delicious flan, Pascale us when route explained to a nice bakery nearby (at the bakery they spoke or only French, but the people were very friendly and with a lot of hand gestures and few words of Dutch they knew we were helped quite well and come home with a delicious flan) .The area is beautiful with beautiful hiking trails (tip routes along the river Ninglinspo) and there is also plenty to do nearby. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend. We were nice welcomed by owner Pascale directly gave a complete explanation about the house, and a nice gift in the form of Leffe and cheese gift gaf.De house is complete, not missing a thing. Three bedrooms with good beds, spacious bathroom. Literally everywhere music systems and speakers. Fireplace that can be turned into seating or dining area. Setting very nice house is on distance of 100 meters from the Ambleve, strewn with rocks the size of a midsize car. Here are all two beautiful signposted walking trails. Slightly further plenty of hiking opportunities in Ninglospo. We also have a number of MTB routes driven around. Recommended MTB / walking buy or order a map from tourist Remouchamps. Under the house a basement where bicycles can be parked. House is equipped with washer and dryer so you can each day in pure cycling wear again the forest. Supermarkets, restaurants and shops nearby in Aywaille. Overall highly recommended !!

"Wood dream" for us was a lovely place to socialize with 6 girlfriends together for cooking, chatting by the fire, sleeping quietly and lovely to walk in the immediate vicinity (Ninglispo). After the walk we could get our muscles some pampering massage in the bath (with new shower hose). Everything was in good condition, clean and what we really needed was all there. But above all what we really could appreciate was personally received by Pascale hostess, she made sure we felt at home immediately and answered all our questions in flawless Dutch. Very bad experience. The house was not clean, the hot tub was not maintained and therefore not inviting to use. In addition, there was no possibility to shower properly in the bath. The deposit, which had to be refunded within 14 days of departure, was only partially refunded after a number of emails and threats. The house is fine and nicely located, but... - We asked for sheets to be provided (I suppose in some cultures it's a thing to take your own sheets on holiday but honestly, who wants to make the bed on holiday?) and what we saw on arrival were old and in at least one case already used (to the extent that there were strong Turin Shroud vibes). The old sheets were ill fitting and tatty. - When we asked for replacement sheets, one set was fished out of the basement and they were musty. - On arrival, we had to hand over a deposit to the owner's representative, as well as read the water and electricity meter (so that the cost of what we used could be deducted on departure). I realise that energy prices are high these days but (a) we weren't planning to boil multiple kettles for the duration of our 48 hour stay or take 500 showers and (b) it's not as though the rental of the place was super cheap. More importantly, I've had to text the owner's representative multiple times since the rental finished more than three weeks ago and still have not received the deposit back. - I've contacted Belvilla and have been informed it will take them 6 to 8 weeks (if I recall correctly) to process my complaint. Honestly, it would be so easy for the owner to make a couple of simple improvements but as it stands I could not in good conscience recommend this place. I can't say that I'll never use Belvilla again until I hear the outcome of their review, but if what I see on Google is accurate, I'm not the only one who has been disappointed, and I don't hold out much hope for the complaint to be dealt with properly. In summary, a nice place badly let down by a lack of attention to important details and poor follow up.

We found a fantastic house. It is fully equipped. Good kitchen with all equipment, high-end stereo system with a nice CD collection, a hot tub, fireplace, dishwasher, etc. All you need to bring is food and drink because it has everything from cotton swabs to firelighters and a hairdryer for tea lights . The hostess who lives in the neighborhood is very helpful. We searched trails and not long after she came with prints where we needed to be and where we could huren.Het cottage is ideally located, many trails (hiking and biking) in the immediate vicinity. Cottage is in itself good and quiet location. Dated and the pans need to be replaced but meet. Located on a mountain bike trail and three hiking trails through which you can go up through the woods or along the Ambleve to the Ninglinspo. On arrival, the manager apologized for the cleaning. According to him, the previous guests had not left it tidy and had damaged things. According to him, this meant that there was not enough time to get the cleaning in order. The floor was still sticky in several places and the living room still smelled of stale beer and wine (and weed smoke?). But also a lot of cobwebs. Smoke detector no longer worked, reported to the manager. Would be resolved after our departure. In previous review it said it was cold. House can be heated by Pellet stove, Wood stove or electric radiators in every room. More than enough to heat, but that takes some time. Manager was helpful. We only saw him on arrival.
