This vacation home was exactly what we needed for our group trip. It has plenty of space with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, which was perfect for our large group. Everything was clean, and the decor had a nice touch. We spent a lot of time on the terrace enjoying the fresh air and even had a barbecue one night. Downtown, with its shops and restaurants, is just a few minutes' drive away, which is convenient for supplies. Although we didn't explore the nearby attractions much, we visited Reinhardstein Castle, which was charming. A practical and comfortable choice for a relaxing vacation.

A lovely comfortable house with plenty of space and friendly owners! We were blessed with good weather, but even without that the location was perfect. Near to Spa Francorchamps and the pretty town of Malmedy, with a lake, park and good restaurant all within a few minutes walk. Highly recommended for a peaceful holiday with none of the usual tourist stuff!!

The weather was cold and changeable, on Saturday morning there was even 3 cm of snow. On arrival at the house the driver was on, the stove was burning, there was a bottle of wine on the table and the Easter eggs and chocolate sweets welcomed us! Everything is always immaculate and in order. We were already there for the 5th time and it is like coming home. In short, we are received very hospitable. We are always discovering new walks in the area. The bakery, the supermarket, the bank, ..... are within walking distance, this is nice.

4 couples we rented out the apartment to spend a weekend near the Fens. With easily accessible by road, and in half an hour you are in the nature reserve (we made a nice walk to Signal de Botrange) or at Castle Reinhardstein also a beautiful piece of nature. The house is near a lake where we go to be beautiful weather zwemmen.De house has a well equipped kitchen, though it took a while before refrigerator and freezer are cold. The beds were comfortable enough for a few nights, but two of the couples had to sleep in separate beds because one room only had a bunk bed and another room two single beds that stood against each other in an L shape (and could not be moved) .The table and barbecue in the garden were also fine to use, though this is not the garden of the house but the owners. However, this was no problem, we can dine quietly and chat without having the feeling that we were disturbing.

4 people had to stay comfortable in this spacious home. We were an hour earlier, and Margaret is a quiet and friendly host. A clean house with all amenities. Sauna lovers, easy to operate and located on the ground floor, so you have out here the home. For the home you do need a ladder and the third best (privacy fine) bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. We were lucky with the weather, which is a prerequisite for good to stay in this area. Cute known towns of Malmedy and St Vith Monschau etc easy to drive. Even if driving is not your hobby, you can quietly here on beautiful roads middle driving around in the countryside hour and occasionally get an attraction. Step advice as to 300 meters away tourist, one dara also speaks Dutch and they give you free to do useful folders. Best recommended.

Though the holiday external perspective is not the expected impression, yet this is only apparent. Once inside, you will experience that this property has all the options for a pleasant holiday. Cleanliness is not an empty slogan. As previous users, we can not but give 9.99 at 10 as inferior category. If you then take into account the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners do we even points short. As a major plus, there are still up there enough shops in the immediate vicinity. Make excursions in this region can not be the slightest problem. Yet there is a downside: because the stairs to the entrance, this house is not wheelchair accessible.

Het huis was schoon en ruim. Ook was er een ruime hoeveelheid hout beschikbaar. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er zit een bakker om de hoek waar je in een paar minuten naartoe loopt en evenver zit een supermarkt. Voor onze jonge kinderen bood het plaatselijke speeltuin, ook op loop afstand genoeg vermaak.

the cottage perfectly met our expectations, especially many dishes and nice sized pots (8 adults whose twenty-six healthy appetite). sanitary clean and spacious fitted. Well maintained, clean and complete house in a pleasant small village. Nice and quiet place, supermarket and bakery within walking distance. Good base for trips and walks in the area (Trôs-Marêts valley is very nice), but our children were also happy with the playground and mini golf in Bütgenbach itself.

A very fine group accommodation, all facilities, bakery and supermarket within walking distance, and administrators are very friendly. The house is well maintained, clean and price / quality is perfect. Only downside is that afterwards still recover some costs, such cleaning, bed linen, taxes etc .. (total 130euro). Thereby staying at first seem slightly cheaper than it actually is.

For the autumn period we had with the weather with us. No rain mild temperatures. Upon our arrival we were very well received by the hostess Margret. Tour of the house and info about restaurants and surroundings. The House answered our expectations. Nice with the open kitchen so they are not separated when one is prepared for anything. Fun with sauna.De brisk walk around lake dam was fun to do. No great differences in altitude, not everyone is equally fit into the group. It was really enjoy. Bakery around the corner, plenty of space in the living / dining room and what is that good fire during the cold days. The children were quietly watching TV and chatting we cozy for the fireplace. The beds were neatly made for us and we were kindly received. In the area you can make beautiful walks, but also visit caves. Something for everyone I think.

Everything was impeccably arranged. Upon arrival the fire was burning and there was waiting for a bottle of white wine on us. We got good information. The house is in tip-top order. The only regret is the single duvets on the double bed. That's not so convenient because they "night fall easily from the bed. A nice surroundings and everything close by. We were 18-10 to 21-10-2013 in Am Burggarten 7 adults. A nice and cozy cottage, perfect for our group. Proper, all well kept, the beds made on arrival, the stove was burning, ... . The hostess was very friendly and we were allowed to ask what we wanted, but we had to ring the bell. The perfect base to explore beautiful (natural) walks. The 4 bedrooms were on the small side, but that should still just to sleep, should not ge there during the day. All in all an address to remember and be sure to stay again. We really enjoyed it.

4 people had to stay comfortable in this spacious home. We were an hour earlier, and Margaret is a quiet and friendly host. A clean house with all amenities. Sauna lovers, easy to operate and located on the ground floor, so you have out here the home. For the home you do need a ladder and the third best (privacy fine) bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. We were lucky with the weather, which is a prerequisite for good to stay in this area. Cute known towns of Malmedy and St Vith Monschau etc easy to drive. Even if driving is not your hobby, you can quietly here on beautiful roads middle driving around in the countryside hour and occasionally get an attraction. Step advice as to 300 meters away tourist, one dara also speaks Dutch and they give you free to do useful folders. Best recommended.

The house is on a quiet street with almost no traffic. in less than five minutes you're right in the woods. The house itself was clean and tidy. The cutlery and crockery was just enough for the number of people, which means you're washing several times a day. The finish of the electrical outlets were not equally tidy. for the rest it was a great house for trips in the area.

4 couples we rented out the apartment to spend a weekend near the Fens. With easily accessible by road, and in half an hour you are in the nature reserve (we made a nice walk to Signal de Botrange) or at Castle Reinhardstein also a beautiful piece of nature. The house is near a lake where we go to be beautiful weather zwemmen.De house has a well equipped kitchen, though it took a while before refrigerator and freezer are cold. The beds were comfortable enough for a few nights, but two of the couples had to sleep in separate beds because one room only had a bunk bed and another room two single beds that stood against each other in an L shape (and could not be moved) .The table and barbecue in the garden were also fine to use, though this is not the garden of the house but the owners. However, this was no problem, we can dine quietly and chat without having the feeling that we were disturbing.

The weather was cold and changeable, on Saturday morning there was even 3 cm of snow. On arrival at the house the driver was on, the stove was burning, there was a bottle of wine on the table and the Easter eggs and chocolate sweets welcomed us! Everything is always immaculate and in order. We were already there for the 5th time and it is like coming home. In short, we are received very hospitable. We are always discovering new walks in the area. The bakery, the supermarket, the bank, ..... are within walking distance, this is nice.

Though the holiday external perspective is not the expected impression, yet this is only apparent. Once inside, you will experience that this property has all the options for a pleasant holiday. Cleanliness is not an empty slogan. As previous users, we can not but give 9.99 at 10 as inferior category. If you then take into account the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners do we even points short. As a major plus, there are still up there enough shops in the immediate vicinity. Make excursions in this region can not be the slightest problem. Yet there is a downside: because the stairs to the entrance, this house is not wheelchair accessible.
