A lovely comfortable house with plenty of space and friendly owners! We were blessed with good weather, but even without that the location was perfect. Near to Spa Francorchamps and the pretty town of Malmedy, with a lake, park and good restaurant all within a few minutes walk. Highly recommended for a peaceful holiday with none of the usual tourist stuff!!

The weather was cold and changeable, on Saturday morning there was even 3 cm of snow. On arrival at the house the driver was on, the stove was burning, there was a bottle of wine on the table and the Easter eggs and chocolate sweets welcomed us! Everything is always immaculate and in order. We were already there for the 5th time and it is like coming home. In short, we are received very hospitable. We are always discovering new walks in the area. The bakery, the supermarket, the bank, ..... are within walking distance, this is nice.

4 couples we rented out the apartment to spend a weekend near the Fens. With easily accessible by road, and in half an hour you are in the nature reserve (we made a nice walk to Signal de Botrange) or at Castle Reinhardstein also a beautiful piece of nature. The house is near a lake where we go to be beautiful weather zwemmen.De house has a well equipped kitchen, though it took a while before refrigerator and freezer are cold. The beds were comfortable enough for a few nights, but two of the couples had to sleep in separate beds because one room only had a bunk bed and another room two single beds that stood against each other in an L shape (and could not be moved) .The table and barbecue in the garden were also fine to use, though this is not the garden of the house but the owners. However, this was no problem, we can dine quietly and chat without having the feeling that we were disturbing.

It was really enjoy. Bakery around the corner, plenty of space in the living / dining room and what is that good fire during the cold days. The children were quietly watching TV and chatting we cozy for the fireplace. The beds were neatly made for us and we were kindly received. In the area you can make beautiful walks, but also visit caves. Something for everyone I think.

4 people had to stay comfortable in this spacious home. We were an hour earlier, and Margaret is a quiet and friendly host. A clean house with all amenities. Sauna lovers, easy to operate and located on the ground floor, so you have out here the home. For the home you do need a ladder and the third best (privacy fine) bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. We were lucky with the weather, which is a prerequisite for good to stay in this area. Cute known towns of Malmedy and St Vith Monschau etc easy to drive. Even if driving is not your hobby, you can quietly here on beautiful roads middle driving around in the countryside hour and occasionally get an attraction. Step advice as to 300 meters away tourist, one dara also speaks Dutch and they give you free to do useful folders. Best recommended.

Beautiful house, fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Warm welcome, good and pleasant contact with the owner. The location of the house in the village is ideal: close to a supermarket, bakery, and fun (play) park. From this location, trips to both the Ardennes and the Eifel are easy to do.

Though the holiday external perspective is not the expected impression, yet this is only apparent. Once inside, you will experience that this property has all the options for a pleasant holiday. Cleanliness is not an empty slogan. As previous users, we can not but give 9.99 at 10 as inferior category. If you then take into account the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners do we even points short. As a major plus, there are still up there enough shops in the immediate vicinity. Make excursions in this region can not be the slightest problem. Yet there is a downside: because the stairs to the entrance, this house is not wheelchair accessible.

Mooi, proper huisje met alles voor handen. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst! De ligging is ook perfect. Dicht bij winkel, bakker,... en op wandelafstand van het meer. Na een koude winterwandeling hebben wij genoten van de sauna en het haardvuur. Een weekend was te kort :-)

Het huis was schoon en ruim. Ook was er een ruime hoeveelheid hout beschikbaar. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er zit een bakker om de hoek waar je in een paar minuten naartoe loopt en evenver zit een supermarkt. Voor onze jonge kinderen bood het plaatselijke speeltuin, ook op loop afstand genoeg vermaak.

Well maintained, clean and complete house in a pleasant small village. Nice and quiet place, supermarket and bakery within walking distance. Good base for trips and walks in the area (Trôs-Marêts valley is very nice), but our children were also happy with the playground and mini golf in Bütgenbach itself.

Unfortunately, we arrived a little late because of the huge crowds on the road, but we were greeted by the hostess and welcome geheten.Een very nice cottage with everything on eraan.De environment is beautiful and luckily we had beautiful weather. A very fine group accommodation, all facilities, bakery and supermarket within walking distance, and administrators are very friendly. The house is well maintained, clean and price / quality is perfect. Only downside is that afterwards still recover some costs, such cleaning, bed linen, taxes etc .. (total 130euro). Thereby staying at first seem slightly cheaper than it actually is.

For the autumn period we had with the weather with us. No rain mild temperatures. Upon our arrival we were very well received by the hostess Margret. Tour of the house and info about restaurants and surroundings. The House answered our expectations. Nice with the open kitchen so they are not separated when one is prepared for anything. Fun with sauna.De brisk walk around lake dam was fun to do. No great differences in altitude, not everyone is equally fit into the group. Shops, restaurants within walking distance saved. still determine next date to re-book the property. Thanks.

Long weekend with family. Plenty of room. Nice rooms, not too big. (Not required) Bathrooms and WC 's were spacious and tidy. In the garden large table with solid stone BBQ. Downstairs in the barn a nice sauna and shower massase.

During our holiday we could enjoy cycling - and walking on the days that it remained dry. But on a wet day it was also nice to stay in the house, close to the wood stove. Highly recommended.

It was really enjoy. Bakery around the corner, plenty of space in the living / dining room and what is that good fire during the cold days. The children were quietly watching TV and chatting we cozy for the fireplace. The beds were neatly made for us and we were kindly received. In the area you can make beautiful walks, but also visit caves. Something for everyone I think.

Everything was impeccably arranged. Upon arrival the fire was burning and there was waiting for a bottle of white wine on us. We got good information. The house is in tip-top order. The only regret is the single duvets on the double bed. That's not so convenient because they "night fall easily from the bed. A nice surroundings and everything close by. Nice and cozy Italian restaurat nearby. Highly recommended

We were 18-10 to 21-10-2013 in Am Burggarten 7 adults. A nice and cozy cottage, perfect for our group. Proper, all well kept, the beds made on arrival, the stove was burning, ... . The hostess was very friendly and we were allowed to ask what we wanted, but we had to ring the bell. The perfect base to explore beautiful (natural) walks. The 4 bedrooms were on the small side, but that should still just to sleep, should not ge there during the day. All in all an address to remember and be sure to stay again. We really enjoyed it.

4 people had to stay comfortable in this spacious home. We were an hour earlier, and Margaret is a quiet and friendly host. A clean house with all amenities. Sauna lovers, easy to operate and located on the ground floor, so you have out here the home. For the home you do need a ladder and the third best (privacy fine) bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. We were lucky with the weather, which is a prerequisite for good to stay in this area. Cute known towns of Malmedy and St Vith Monschau etc easy to drive. Even if driving is not your hobby, you can quietly here on beautiful roads middle driving around in the countryside hour and occasionally get an attraction. Step advice as to 300 meters away tourist, one dara also speaks Dutch and they give you free to do useful folders. Best recommended.

The house is on a quiet street with almost no traffic. in less than five minutes you're right in the woods. The house itself was clean and tidy. The cutlery and crockery was just enough for the number of people, which means you're washing several times a day. The finish of the electrical outlets were not equally tidy. for the rest it was a great house for trips in the area.

4 couples we rented out the apartment to spend a weekend near the Fens. With easily accessible by road, and in half an hour you are in the nature reserve (we made a nice walk to Signal de Botrange) or at Castle Reinhardstein also a beautiful piece of nature. The house is near a lake where we go to be beautiful weather zwemmen.De house has a well equipped kitchen, though it took a while before refrigerator and freezer are cold. The beds were comfortable enough for a few nights, but two of the couples had to sleep in separate beds because one room only had a bunk bed and another room two single beds that stood against each other in an L shape (and could not be moved) .The table and barbecue in the garden were also fine to use, though this is not the garden of the house but the owners. However, this was no problem, we can dine quietly and chat without having the feeling that we were disturbing.

Very warm welcome, problems were immediately taken care of. Beautiful garden with private terrace. Very comfortable, new mattresses. House overall very spacious, absolutely maintained and top equipped. Perfect location in quiet side street but close to supermarket (2 min walk), baker (3 min), butcher (5 min). Very nice environment with lake, hiking possibilities, cycling paths. Perfect destination and ideal accommodation. We will be back.

The weather was cold and changeable, on Saturday morning there was even 3 cm of snow. On arrival at the house the driver was on, the stove was burning, there was a bottle of wine on the table and the Easter eggs and chocolate sweets welcomed us! Everything is always immaculate and in order. We were already there for the 5th time and it is like coming home. In short, we are received very hospitable. We are always discovering new walks in the area. The bakery, the supermarket, the bank, ..... are within walking distance, this is nice.

We had booked a weekend, A nice house with all amenities, and pleasant warmth due to the wood stove that was already burning when we arrived, Friendly welcome, Very good beds and a plus is the sauna, The location of the house has access to beautiful walks in the area, Malmedy is close by and normally a tourist city where it is nice to stay,,,, but also here it is a bit deserted because of the corona! This house is definitely recommended!

The house is very nice and there is nothing missing from inside. The sauna and the large living room / kitchen are a real addition. The house is located 25 meters from the landlords off but that is not further disturb the privacy or the experience.

Clean house and very friendly owners! Garden is unfortunately not against the house but next to the house of the owners (about 10 meters further). Sauna is located in garage which is not very convenient. House is quietly situated on the edge of the village. Beautiful cycling and walking opportunities in the area. Meertje is rather disappointing in terms of accessibility.

Though the holiday external perspective is not the expected impression, yet this is only apparent. Once inside, you will experience that this property has all the options for a pleasant holiday. Cleanliness is not an empty slogan. As previous users, we can not but give 9.99 at 10 as inferior category. If you then take into account the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners do we even points short. As a major plus, there are still up there enough shops in the immediate vicinity. Make excursions in this region can not be the slightest problem. Yet there is a downside: because the stairs to the entrance, this house is not wheelchair accessible.

A wonderful week with five friends in a fine accommodation. The welcome was very warm, the stove was burning and the beds were already made! The accommodation is perfectly fine, and the location is ideal, with facilities such as shops within walking distance, but also with the nature around the corner. A must!

A lovely holiday home, characteristic and cosy, but also practical and well-equipped. Very clean and everything is there. The beds are kept very hygienic by means of good protective covers. Upon arrival, the stove is lit and there are delicious chocolates ready. You feel very welcome here, the people are friendly and helpful. The sauna is located in a garage that is only accessible from outside.
