As a group of five, we enjoyed plenty of space to move around inside the chalet as well as outside on the grounds with a beautiful terrace to relax after outdoor activities.

After the trip, I felt quite exhausted and this place provided restful sleep before continuing on. Two bedrooms meant no fighting over space. The wood stove made the living room cozy without effort.

I was looking for something clean near the slope without extra driving effort per day. This chalet perfectly fulfilled this purpose with its parking space right by the house as well as the cozy living area inside.

We spent three nights here and had no complaints. The chalet is only 500 meters from the village of Turracherhöhe and is easily accessible on foot. The parking lot right at the door made our stay uncomplicated.

I noticed that the remote control for the TV actually contained batteries, a small but useful thing. The kitchen has everything necessary to make quick meals after skiing easy. I especially liked getting fresh air on the balcony every day. A practical place for a quick winter vacation.

In August 2021 we had a very relaxing stay in one of the separate houses of the Pension Alpenrose on the Turacher Höhe. Once we enjoyed the evening menu in the guesthouse 20 meters away, we fell for the culinary delight of the chef Peter and, except for a few days, allowed ourselves to be pampered with the delicious (Austrian) dishes, which were almost exclusively made from regional products. The food was also a real delight for the eyes, you could not only taste it but also see that cook Peter, together with his wife Susi (who also owns the pension), live their passion in order to give their guests a wonderful stay with a lot of heart. For the three of us with our 17-year-old son, it was a great combination to live in a separate little house with two bedrooms and a kitchen-cum-living-room and thus to be independent of the pension business and still have the option of the luxury of the excellent kitchen (breakfast buffet, lunch menu a la carte, evening menu ) to have the Alpenrose right next door and all of that in a beautiful landscape. Arrival is very well arranged, nice reception, you feel immediately welcome.Huisje is very clean, despite the fact that dogs are welcome. Further equipped with all comforts. Daily fresh rolls if you wish at the door. Owner can cook very nice, four courses for little money and very good quality. Per day you can indicate whether you want to use it, absolutely no obligation. From the cottage you are within five minutes by car in the village, on foot so 15 minutes, keep in mind that the supermarkets are further, about 20 minutes by car. There are a few good, affordable, restaurant in the village. You can walk beautifully, beautiful surroundings! We will definitely come back again.

Great house that is equipped with everything you need. The first week walks from the cottage done. The second week always a piece by car for a walk. Susi Peter from Gasthof Alpenrose (which is 10 seconds walk away) are very friendly people. We enjoyed the fantastic 4-course menus that were served every night Peter is a great cook Every morning (on request) fresh bread in a bag at the door We had two dogs with us also well entertained We will definitely come back to the Turracher höhe.

Super nice welcome, was a very clean chalet. We were celebrating with a dog and the WiFiThe WiFi worked very well, the children thought it was nice. (16 and 19 years old) It's a beautiful setting, sometimes it was very fresh, but inside the chalet it was nice, you should also boil the wood stove. And every morning the fresh buns stood outside under the roof for breakfast. (If you ordered them)

We had a wonderful time at the chalet. It was spacious enough for our group of six, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking our meals. The kids loved playing on the trampoline outside, and we all appreciated the quiet surroundings. It was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The hosts were extremely kind, the house was very clean and located away from the hustle and bustle. Nothing was lacking for a pleasant vacation. The owners took excellent care of us and offered, upon request, a delicious and abundant meal with fresh and local ingredients at a fair price. We felt very comfortable and were welcomed warmly. The environment is ideal for active tourists!
