This beautiful, detached holiday home built from tree trunks is located in Mauterndorf in Salzburgerland and offers space for 10 people, an ideal holiday home for larger groups or several families.
The large kitchen with connection to the spacious dining room is centrally located on the ground floor. Between the kitchen and the living room there is a beautiful wood-burning stove that gives off a lovely warmth. On the ground floor there is also a double bedroom with a bathroom. On the first floor there is 1 bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and 2 bedrooms with an additional bathroom in the hallway. After an active day, it is wonderful to relax in the large sauna, which is located in the basement of the house together with another bedroom and bathroom for 2 people. Parking is available directly at the house.
Mauterndorf is located between different ski areas such as Grosseck-Speiereck, Obertauern and Katschberg. The ski bus runs from Mauterndorf along all of these areas. The ideal starting point for skiers who would like to experience different areas. The beautiful surroundings of Mauterndorf in Lungau also have a lot to offer active and less active holidaymakers in summer.

A very nice spacious house situated in a beautiful spot on the outskirts of Mauterndorf. House is equipped with all comforts. We would like to come back again.

Equipment and floor plan of the house very good, location very good. Unfortunately, there is no guest card. Participation in the LungauCard, which would include many discounts, is apparently too expensive for the organizer. So the holiday has again become considerably more expensive.

Our family spent a very pleasant week in June 2019 in this very nice log cabin. The house is generously laid out and appropriately furnished. On arrival we found the house very clean and tidy. The place Mauterndorf is scenically located great, has a great infrastructure (several restaurants, supermarket, beautiful outdoor pool) and many friendly residents. Unfortunately there are but also cause for criticism at the holiday quarter. In one of the three bathrooms the drain of the shower was broken. A venting of the drain of the sewer was completely missing, which triggered a foul odor with each shower and greatly affected this bath in its use. When we reported this complaint it became clear that the defect had been known for a long time, but apparently no reason to remedy the situation was found. The latter we consider particularly critical. The room spray provided by the landlord solves the problem under no circumstances.

The house is super spacious and equipped with everything you need. The area is great, but some attractions are still closed in the off-season. The only negative was that the guest card, which is included, was not issued. Various attractions are free with this guest card. After submission of the supporting documents, Belvilla reimbursed the costs. Super Service.
