by car:The best way to reach us is via the A7 motorway. A few kilometres after Kempten, take the Oy-Mittelberg exit. After approx. 1 km, turn left at the roundabout - directly to Nesselwang. Only a few metres after the Nesselwang town sign, turn left into Marsstraße. Continue - the second right - into Venusstraße and again the first left into Jupiterstraße. The climatic health resort of Nesselwang lies in the middle of impressive mountain scenery. The endearingly "Allgäu-typical" town offers pure nature to discover and relax in. Idyllic and central at the same time - that's what makes Nesselwang so unique. Here, holidays begin as soon as you arrive. Whether active hiking, relaxing by the lake or sporty cycling, walking or running, here everyone can spend the best days of the year as they please
Nesselwang Im Allgäu offers a variety of attractions and sights. Nesselwang is right in the middle of it all. All the highlights are within easy reach from here - no matter which hilly and lush green foothills of the Alps with a multitude of sparkling lakes characterise Nesselwang's surroundings, as do mountain massifs up to metres high. The Allgäu-Tirol-Wandercard gives you unlimited use of 14 cable cars and lifts, 4 swimming pools and the summer toboggan run in Nesselwang, at 1000 metres the longest sports toboggan run in the Allgäu. Everything just fits
Super nice accommodation, very friendly.
Nesselwang is a good starting point for all kinds of activities.
You get the Königscard on arrival, which allows you to do many things, some of them free of charge.
We were allowed to bring our cat, which we found very nice (we always have everything with us - cat house, cat toilet, etc.), a greeting from the pet and a water bowl were already there?

We like to come back
We booked a holiday flat in the Ohnesorg country house for 10 days with our family over Whitsun 2022. The country house is very well equipped. The location is perfect for activities in the surrounding area. The information folder, which is ready in each holiday flat, is particularly well put together.
With the Königscard we made the most of many activities on offer. We took advantage of the mountain and valley rides to the Alpspitze and the Breitenberg, played mini-golf in Seeg, rented an e-bike for a day and went climbing in the ABC leisure pool as well as in the Höllschlucht in the climbing forest, in a cheese dairy and took the big boat trip on the Forggensee. Skiing holiday with the Königscard
We have been skiing with our children for several years. It is always a pleasure, because the Königscard includes a 3-hour ski pass for various ski areas every day. The holiday is therefore calculable for us and we don't have to do without anything. Bathing admissions are also included. This year we even had a sleigh ride in the Tannheim valley, which was a great experience for everyone.

The vacation rental is clean, simple, equipped with the essentials, but lacking a microwave. It was too small for 3 people, the couch only fits 2. The location would be nice if not for the train waking us up very early every morning. The house is beautiful, but lacks a dog shower, and the restaurant (one of the reasons why we booked) has not been operating since Nov. 2018, but is still mentioned on some websites. It would have been nice if the reception had been open upon arrival. Bread service was very good.

A very nice vacation
Very nice and friendly staff, wishes were fulfilled. The vacation rental was very clean, everything needed in the kitchen (utensils) was there. We were 2 adults with 5 children, great that there was a playroom for the little ones and a game room for the adults with a ping pong table, foosball, and a game corner for board games (though this should be renewed or filled with games). There is a very nice playground right next to the house with a barbecue area, which was also very well maintained and clean. A fantastic holiday, we will gladly come back.

We were pleasantly surprised during our first visit to this house. Friendly reception, everything clean, large room with a small kitchen. Guests can help themselves to beverages at reasonable prices. However, the restaurant in the house is not recommendable: breakfast without any care, coffee pot with brown edges, scrambled eggs from a tetrapack, chicken cutlet partially burnt at dinner, steak like shoe sole and wrong meat used, tomato sauce came from a Maggi pack > not even hobby chef level!

Pleasant stay with dog
We felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment Erika.
Very spacious, we slept very well in the beds. We also found it pleasant that the shower and toilet are separate.
Everything is thought of, and if not, it will be made possible. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful.
Drinks are available for self-service at fair prices.
Very good value for the price.
We would love to come back here again.

Short break in Nesselwang
We were at Landhaus Ohnesorg for the second time. The name really lives up to its promise: we didn't have to worry about anything. Even a baby crib was set up for us so we didn't need to unpack our own. The whole staff at the Landhaus and restaurant is very courteous and helpful.

Short break with family
The house is quiet and located away from the town center. The apartments are very well equipped and invite you to relax. The house has a lot to offer in terms of amenities; children's playroom, hobby room with table tennis and foosball, sauna and fitness room, and a restaurant in the basement. Furthermore, guests receive the KönigsCard for their stay. We really enjoyed our vacation as we felt very comfortable in the apartment. The children always had an opportunity for activities in the playroom. What naturally sweetens the vacation are the many possibilities of the KönigsCard. Overall highly recommended.

We spent the weekend with the whole family (3 children) in Nesselwang, the location is great, everything is nearby such as Füssen, the royal castles. The accommodation itself was perfect, we had the "Enzian" apartment, it was very well equipped, clean, modern. The mattresses are amazing. We were all more than satisfied.

Everything is fine, we would love to come back.
At Landhaus Ohnesorg, we were greeted very nicely and friendly and could move into our apartment already at noon. We had the 3-room apartment Edelweiss with a spacious living-cooking area. The bedroom and the children's room were sufficiently large. The mattresses were very comfortable. A large balcony with enough chairs, table, sun lounger, sun umbrella, and even a clothesline. The kitchenette was well equipped. The apartment was very clean, the bathroom newly renovated. (Unfortunately, no separate toilet). There are plenty of parking spaces available. The breakfast buffet was somewhat limited, but equipped with very good products. The hotel is located in a quiet area and the city is easily reachable on foot. The leisure activities in the area are very diverse and mostly free to use with the Königscard, which was very beneficial for the holiday budget. Conclusion: Very nice hotel, very good service, great apartment - we felt comfortable and would gladly come back.

Wanderurlaub ohne Sorg
Every year we go hiking in Bavaria with our dog. Due to the good reviews, we chose Landhaus Ohnesorg this year and can now confirm the good reviews. The check-in is very friendly. Mrs. Ladwig is very kind. The Venus apartment, although not the most modern, is clean and spacious enough for 2 people with a dog. We had booked breakfast, but next year we will use the bread roll service so that we can enjoy the amazing cheese from the local dairies and the local butcher. Hiking in the area is perfect and the Königscard is a special treat. Our dog was also allowed to ride the gondola several times for free, which allowed us to explore the Alpspitz. We felt completely comfortable at the country house and can definitely recommend this accommodation.

We spent very nice holiday days in a beautiful spacious vacation apartment. Great hiking trails for walks with the dog. We quickly got used to the railway noise. The Königskarte is great, we would love to come back there again.

A wonderful vacation
We had one of the best vacations of our lives there. We traveled with our two-year-old child and both the vacation rental and the location were child-friendly, as was the service. The price-performance ratio is more than optimal. With the Königskarte, almost everything is open. Beautiful vacation destinations can be quickly reached. The vacation rental is very nicely furnished. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the entire atmosphere in the house is super nice. It would've been nice if a DVD player had been available and if the internet worked better. However, that is secondary, and as mentioned, the value for money is very good. For families, it is also important to be able to afford a holiday. So highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location
All in all, it was a very relaxing week.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also plentiful and really delicious.
The room was more than spacious enough for two people and had everything.
The cleanliness was also great. We had a few stains on the duvet, but the staff quickly replaced it.
The train operation, including the noise, didn't bother us at all. The location was great, close to the center and the lake. I found the whistle noises to be more of a delight as a railway worker :D
The only point of criticism would be the rather poor accessibility for people with disabilities (my father is affected, hence the statement) and also for older people due to the lack of an elevator, especially carrying luggage is not very pleasant.
One should just not use the parking space under the balcony, as car enthusiasts will have their car sprinkled with water from the balcony and then end up with unsightly lime stains... All in all, still highly recommended.

Very good and clean accommodation. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances and items. Half-board is also offered, which we gladly accepted. Freshly cooked meals and to the extent possible, everything is homemade (from ice cream, jam to sauces). Concerning food, consideration is also given to allergies, and if desired, meals can be prepared like lactose-free/gluten-free. The house is located in a residential area with numerous hiking trails nearby. Many sights can be reached in a very short time (e.g. Füssen is about 25 minutes away). There is a playground for children. There is also a barbecue area. The value for money is great. For this price, you can really save yourself the trouble of cooking and opt for half board.

We stayed in a one-room holiday apartment for a weekend and were thrilled, as everything was available down to the smallest detail! Hairdryer, the kitchen complete with toaster, microwave, and all the utensils that are often not found in most holiday apartments, seat cushions for the balcony, etc.! The breakfast had a lot of choices and the staff were always friendly and helpful! We would love to come back, everything worked great with the Königscard, as well as with the arrival outside reception hours!

We stayed for 11 days with 3 children (3 - 10 years) in a vacation rental. We were particularly impressed by the option to book a breakfast buffet at short notice in the house and the overall service. The apartment was clean, quiet, and spacious. Many little things that are missing in other vacation homes are available here (e.g. soap, hairdryer, toilet paper). The offers of the Königscard cater to everyone and are especially brilliant for families. We will be back!

We'll be back!
We were in Nesselwang with two small children. We loved it, the apartment was quaintly furnished in a country house style. The staff was super friendly and fulfilled all our wishes! Our son especially loved the on-site playground. There is a small train track nearby, the train honks occasionally, but at night it's idyllically quiet. The fridge was humming, but with the bedroom door closed, it wasn't a problem. Only downside, breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m. With small children, you have to get up early, and you could have breakfast as early as 7:30 am. But we will come back!

A good weekend for me and my friends.
We stayed for 3 days with 7 people at this good facility. We were positively impressed by the cleanliness, the well-maintained room furnishings, and the overall service. The location of the hotel is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful nature surroundings providing a sense of well-being. It has an excellent strategic position for visiting the nearby castles of King Ludwig. I will definitely return in the future and would recommend it to anyone planning a holiday in this area.

Wellness Vacation
We liked it a lot in Nesselwang. We enjoyed beautiful hikes and visited the adventure pool. We felt very comfortable at Gästehaus Stimpfle and were able to relax completely. We will come back next year!
