The owner of the residence contacted himself a few days in advance to discuss an arrival time and to ask if we would like to rent extra bed linen and towels. She was therefore present at the agreed arrival time to show us around and hand over the keys. Very friendly welcome. The house itself is quietly located with a fantastic view over the Moselle and the Moselle valley from the spacious terrace !!! The interior is quite old-fashioned but everything was clean. Nice swing and sandpit in the garden for the children and the table football and table tennis in the basement are a great plus. Also washing machine available. The only drawback is that there is no wifi available. Fine surroundings 15 minutes drive from Cochem, 1 hour drive from Trier or Koblenz. Many walking and cycling opportunities in the area.

We had agreed an arrival time, but we did not get it because of traffic problems along the way. That was no problem, the owner just kept waiting for us. The cottage is not large, but by the layout perfectly suited for our family with 4 young children. The environment is beautiful.

This cottage is a gem on the Mosel. It has a balcony with a fantastic view of the vineyards and the river, a large garden where the children can play (bikes, sand stuff, stilts, a ball, etc. are available), two new bathrooms and a new kitchen. The area has plenty to do with young children. We had a great holiday!
