Numerous cycling and hiking trails create many opportunities for nature lovers to explore the Schaabe, the Wittow peninsula, Cape Arkona and the fishing village of Vitt. A playground, shopping facilities (real island market), bakery and restaurants (with breakfast) are in the immediate vicinity
The Breeger harbour, approx. 900 m away, offers excursions by boat to the island of Hiddensee, Bodden trips, crane trips and to the Störtebeker Festival. A sailing school is also located in the seaside resort. Pets by arrangement (fee Euro 5,- per pet per day, maximum 2 dogs are allowed)

Location and surroundings of object
To get to the beach, which is about 750m away, you only have to cross the Juliusruh park, pass a very good fish smokehouse on the edge of the park and, after crossing a road, reach the 10km-long white flat sandy beach on the Schaabe.
The beach is an ideal bathing area: small waves, the water shallow and only gradually getting deeper, the sand white, fine - especially suitable for children and non-swimmers.

The new holiday home is only a few minutes away from the well-known Breeger Bodden harbour, where annual fishing festivals, sailing regattas and also steamboat trips to the nearby island of Hiddensee take place.
A bakery is only a few minutes' walk from the holiday home. You could also book a voucher through us to stop at a nearby café for breakfast.
If you would like to enjoy the area from the countryside, you might like to visit the bicycle rental just 300m away. Numerous cycling and hiking trails offer nature lovers opportunities to explore the Schaabe to the Wittow peninsula, to Cape Arkona and the fishing village of Vitt or to the white natural beach in the north.
Here, on the sunny peninsula of Wittow, Rügen is said to be at its most beautiful. At least that's what many people from Rügen and holidaymakers who come here again and again claim.
Away from the hustle and bustle and mass tourism, with overcrowded beaches, you will spend a beautiful and relaxing holiday here, in a landscape that is almost left to nature. The seaside resort of Breege/Juliusruh, between the Bodden and the Baltic Sea, offers an eventful stay that will not only be remembered by the children.
In Breege you can still see the history of the old fishing village. The harbour and the old captain's houses are witnesses of this era.
One of the most beautiful Baltic Sea beaches lies along the Schaabe. The wide, fine-sand beach is white and has a gently sloping shore - ideal for small children and non-swimmers.
With a beach length of about 9 km, you will find enough quiet sections for sunbathing and, of course, swimming.

The beach rescue service in Juliusruh ensures safety during the bathing season.
The sunset on the Baltic Sea and over land is always a great spectacle.
When exploring the coastal landscape, with its high coast, you still come across unspoilt beaches. You get the impression of being transported back to prehistoric times - after the Ice Age.
