Description

Winding paths between fields, wide olive groves, wild rosemary, broom and narrow access roads lead to the Gargarou district above the beautiful coast. The Seaside holiday accommodation stands on a flat natural plot, high above the sea and Gargarou beach in the quiet district of the same name near Koroni.
The Seaside property, located directly by the sea, consists of 2 halves of the house, which are rented out; the third half of the house is occupied by the landlord all year round. The location of these holiday homes is characterised by a quiet, rural setting with wonderful views of the sea and the opposite coast of Mani and the Taygetos mountains. A path through the large, unspoilt property leads down steps to the fine Gargarou beach below the Seaside houses.

Simply furnished, central semi-detached house Seaside 2 in a quiet, rural setting. The bathroom and the rear bedroom are directly adjacent to the kitchen. The kitchen leads directly onto a covered terrace with wonderful sea views. The bedroom facing the sea is accessible via a separate outside entrance from the entrance terrace of the house and also has a direct exit to a second, covered terrace shared with the neighbouring half of the house, Seaside 1. Both bedrooms are one step higher than the kitchen, are built one behind the other and are connected by an intermediate door.

The fine Gargarou sandy beach below the Seaside houses is seamlessly connected to the Peroulia sandy beach after approx. 300 metres on foot in a northerly direction. After a further 200 metres there is a beach bar with sun loungers and parasols as well as a taverna.

The nearby picturesque town of Koroni, with its beautiful harbour, tavernas and cafés, offers a nice change from the quiet Gargarou surroundings. The towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messinia also have a special charm. In the coastal area between Koroni and Pylos there are still many unspoilt, fine sandy beaches.

Our family felt absolutely comfortable and we had a wonderful vacation. Our host was very hospitable and helpful. The ambiance was very nice and quiet, and the path to the beach was very short. We would love to come back!!

It is a very typical local accommodation, which we really like. Our grandchildren and we felt very comfortable. The landlord was very nice and helpful. It was a very, very nice vacation. Nothing was missing in the kitchen; it was sufficient for four people. With GPS coordinates, we found the accommodation easily.

We spent 3 wonderful weeks in Seaside. The location of the house above the Messinian Gulf is fantastic, the view enchanted us anew every day. The landlords are very friendly and accommodating, we felt at home right away. We would love to come back!

Fantastisch huis, alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Adembenemend uitzicht en strand op slechts zo'n 120 meter. Vooral de hulpvaardigheid en vriendelijkheid van de beheerder Kostas heeft dit verblijf onvergetelijk gemaakt. Nogmaals heel hartelijk dank Kostas!

il soggiorno è stato bellissimo , un posto tranquillo vicino al mare, un panorama stupendo, il sig.Skotos una persona molto disponibile e gentile. se dovessi tornare sicuramente tornerò in questo posto. l'unica pecca la strada , la prima sera ci siamo fidati google map che ci ha fatto fare un a strada bruttissima, dovete spiegare bene che strada fare perchè con google non c'è da fidarsi e si rischia di rompere la macchina. abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà con la lingua ma abbiamo cercato di farci capire. per il resto è andato tutto a meraviglia. dovete dire al sig.Skotos di fare un po di manutenzione a quella casa , le porte che scricchiolano un po, ha piovuto solo una volta ma ha piovuto anche in camera.

Upon our arrival, we were able to taste his olive oil and were gifted with tomatoes and eggplants. The house has a good size for 4 people and was spotlessly clean! The kitchen is small but well equipped. The refrigerator is large and works perfectly. After 5 days, we even received new shower and hand towels, as well as fresh bed linen! An outdoor shower is also available and provided a good cooling off on hot days. The beach was about 120m from the house and is only visited by the guests of the surrounding houses and some locals. The village of Charokopio (good supermarket), as well as Koroni, are easily accessible by car. Even our dog felt very comfortable and the little Gina, Kostas' dog, came over to us occasionally. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!
