Welcome to our holiday flat close to the beach (first occupancy March 2015). A harmonious retreat awaits you in an excellent location. Start the day with a sunny breakfast on the balcony, enjoy the view of the greenery or stroll the few metres along the beach promenade to the south beach. Flat no. 11 is located on the 2nd floor of the house "Meeresrauschen" in the beach park Großenbrode. The flat is easily accessible via a lift. There is a private parking space in front of the house.
The flat has a coherent and light-flooded living/dining area. It is equipped with comfortable underfloor heating. The comfortable sofa and armchair invite you to relax. A wood-burning stove provides romance and additional cosiness in the flat during the cooler seasons. A TV with connected Bluray player and an MP3/CDRadio with USB connection provide media entertainment. WLAN is available in the entire flat. There is also a CD, DVD, books and game collection at your disposal.
Floor-to-ceiling windows surround the dining area and provide a cosy atmosphere. The large, rectangular dining table offers enough space for 4 people. From here you can look out to the Baltic Sea. A baby chair and a high chair are of course available for the smaller guests in the flat. The open-plan fitted kitchen is integrated into the living area. The kitchen has a ceramic hob with oven, dishwasher and fridge with integrated freezer compartment. There is also a microwave, filter coffee machine, Senseo coffee pod machine, toaster, egg boiler and kettle. Sufficient crockery, cutlery and glasses (also for the little guests) are available. The kitchen equipment also includes cookware and various small items.
The holiday flat offers two bedrooms. The larger one is equipped with a comfortable double bed (1,60mx2,00m), sliding door wardrobe and TV. The children's room has a bunk bed and a baby travel bed with extra mattress. There are also books, games and beach toys available for the children. Duvets and pillows are provided for you in the flat. The windows in both rooms are equipped with pleated blinds, blackout curtains and fly screens.
In the bathroom, underfloor heating and towel radiators provide comfortable warmth. Relax with a soothing rain shower. There is also a hairdryer, a washing machine and a footstool for the little guests.
Through the large sliding door, you can access the spacious balcony from the living room. Relax in one of the four comfortable chairs. From here you look out onto a meadow with beautiful, large trees. The balcony faces north-east and offers beautiful morning sun to start the day. The balcony is also covered and offers shelter in case of a rain shower.
In the children's room and living room, all sockets close to the floor are equipped with a child safety lock.

From May to the end of September, we offer you a beach chair on the south beach free of charge, which you can use as you wish. From Haus Meeresrauschen you can reach the beach centre in about 5 minutes on foot via the beach promenade. Here you can get everything you need for your daily needs (in the winter months you can get everything you need in the town centre).
Current construction sites (July 2021): Holiday Vital Resort, new construction near the pier. It may therefore be possible that there will be construction work during your stay. Please understand that we cannot accept subsequent complaints. The construction work in the beach park itself has been completed.

Location and surroundings of object
The Baltic Sea spa Großenbrode is located at the very tip of the Bay of Lübeck on the Wagrien peninsula, directly on the Fehmarnsund and surrounded by water on three sides. A beautiful landscape with many variations awaits you on the Großenbrode Baltic Sea coast. Fine sandy beaches, dunes, dykes, cliffs, meadows and fields surrounded by the blue sea. The wide and 1.5 km long southern beach is a popular meeting place for children to dig and play.
Enjoy the mild, healthy sea air and an atmosphere of tranquillity. The area around Fehmarnsund is one of the sunniest and least rainy in Germany. Ideal for a relaxing beach holiday! In the village you will find everything you need for your daily needs. Two supermarkets, cash machines, general practitioner and dentist, pharmacy and post office provide the necessary infrastructure. Discover the nice cafés or restaurants to enjoy your holiday in a culinary way. Trips to Heiligenhafen or across the Fehmarnsund Bridge to Fehmarn are also an option. For those who miss the big city, a visit to the Hanseatic city of Lübeck is recommended.

Great apartment in Großenbrode - WE WON'T WANT TO COME AGAIN!!!!
This was our third holiday in the holiday flat Meeresrauschen 11 in the beach park Großenbrode. The place is great for families with children, the wide beach that goes gently into the water is a dream! The promenade is just being finished and has become really great. The flat is about 70 m from the beach, the beach chair belonging to the flat is a little further away, directly at the pier and the newly designed beach playground and near the beach bar. Super practical! There were also toilets and food options (ice cream, gyros, chips, pizza, fish sandwiches, ...) in the immediate vicinity.
We stayed in this small holiday flat as a family with a 20-month-old toddler. The flat is very child-friendly, there is a cot, but our little one already slept in the loft bed downstairs. The fall-out protection available in the flat made it possible! Sand toys as well as normal toys are available.
We didn't miss anything in the flat, it is well equipped and everything worked and was intact and clean. Fly screens on the windows keep the mosquitoes out, the dishwasher does the work for you. Thanks to the washing machine, we didn't need quite so much luggage and could wash in between.
The house has a lift so that luggage as well as the pram could be easily transported to the flat
In the evening, after a hot day at the beach or on a warm summer morning, the great balcony with a view of the greenery invites you to have breakfast or dinner.
We can recommend the flat and it was certainly not the last time we stayed there!

Beautiful holiday flat
This was by far the most beautiful and very well-equipped holiday flat in which we had a short holiday after Whitsun. The quality of the flat and the cleanliness in the house is simply top. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice vacation
It was a great sunny vacation.
The apartment was super clean. It is very nicely furnished and has a very large kitchen inventory.
Within walking distance, you can reach the beach and the beautiful new promenade in 2 minutes.

We like to come back
The flat is modern and comprehensively equipped, in the kitchen area all necessary things are available in sufficient numbers and in mint condition. We can award 5 stars for the cleanliness alone, which is why we are here for the second time. The beach promenade can be reached quickly and restaurants/bakers are only a 5-7 minute walk away. The beach chair belonging to the flat is also located there.
