The Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz is located in one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Germany: in the north-east of Schleswig-Holstein near Kappeln on the Schlei, directly on the Baltic Sea.
The Ostseeresort Olpenitz is embedded in an incomparable nature and equipped with everything that makes a stay pleasant and varied all year round.
On the north pier, there is a private beach for guests at the Baltic Sea resort. There is plenty of space here for young and old to lie, play and swim.
The new EDEKA market Hafenkante also offers a bakery and a gastronomic area with a view of the harbour basin.
For extensive tours by bike, the company "Fahrrad Schmidt" supports you and your family directly on site. There is an adventure golf course in the southern part of the Baltic resort. Enjoy beautiful walks along the harbour promenade and take a look at the small shops in the Klabautermann house.
There is also fresh fish directly from the cutter, excursion traditional sailing boats, canoe and boat hire and optimist sailing courses from the Globetrotter Academy.
The immediate vicinity of Weidefelder Strand, approx. 4 km away (incl. dog beach, restaurant, beach chair rental, kiosk, DLRG surveillance in summer), rounds off the holiday offer.
The nearest town, Kappeln, is a recognised Baltic Sea pub and climatic health resort with a population of approx. 1,000, which offers many tourist attractions for sailors and beach holidaymakers. Kappeln, with its many sights, restaurants, shops and cosy fishing harbour, is only about 5 minutes away by car or 7 kilometres by bike.
