Description

The holiday flat is centrally located between the town centre and the south beach.

You live in one of a total of two accommodation units on two floors - two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and washing machine (coin-operated counter), eat-in kitchen and living room

The bed sizes are 180x200 (first bedroom "for the parents") and twice 90x200 (second bedroom, the beds are at right angles to each other, "for the children").

The entire holiday flat is light and brightly furnished. The white, partially glazed room doors and the restored floorboards on the ground floor give an impression of old island house charm. Kitchen and furniture are in country house style. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The rear part of the garden, with garden shed and table and chairs, is reserved for you. You can reach the garden via the path along the house (approx. 15 metres).

The house, a typical island house half, is a fourth generation property; my grandfather grew up here and my family spent their summer holidays here for many years.

Location and surroundings of object

The house is located in what I consider to be one of the most beautiful streets on the island, Süderstraße, in the middle between the centre of the village and the southern beach. The beach can be reached in about five minutes. The bakery, which is conveniently located right across the street, is open from Easter until autumn, even on Sundays!

Borkum is easily accessible by train and ferry. You can also park your car in the Borkumgaragen at Emder Außerhafen or in Eemshaven (NL).
If you arrive by car, you can park it for a fee in the car park on Ankerstraße - a 3-minute walk away. Please reserve a space for your car in good time on the ferry from Emden or Eemshaven at AG Ems!
I have given DHL a parking permit - you can also send your luggage ahead by post.

Beautiful holiday flat

The flat deserves full marks in all criteria. Equipment, location and cleanliness leave nothing to be desired, the care by the landlord was top. Thank you for the wonderful days on Borkum. We will be happy to come back
