Description
In this old captain's house, which was completely renovated by us in spring 2020, two new, bright, modern and comfortably furnished holiday flats with maritime flair have been created.
The smoke- and pet-free ground floor flat has a separate rear entrance, two bedrooms each with a double bed and external blinds
All bedroom windows are equipped with fly screens.
From both rooms you enjoy a magnificent view of the marina and over the Harle. The white bedroom "Ocean" contains an additional flat screen TV on the wall.
Furthermore, the flat consists of a hallway with wardrobe, a large bathroom with toilet and a ground-level rain shower, an additional guest toilet, kitchen with its own patio door and view of the garden, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice compartment, coffee maker, water and egg boiler, toaster, dining table with four chairs, CD/radio, living room with comfortable sofa and large flat screen TV/DVD .

A free car parking space is located directly in front of the house.
A second car parking space for another car would also be available for a fee of € 10 per week.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is in a prime location in Harlesiel, not far from the marina, ferry landing stage and dike crossing to the outer harbour and bathing beach. It is only a few steps to the landing stage of the paddle steamer "Concordia II". Combined with a small boat tour, you have the opportunity to explore the idyllic museum harbour of Carolinensiel with its historic flat-bottomed sailing boats.
Leave your car at your accommodation and use the "carobahn", which is free of charge for Nordsee-Servicecard holders, to travel to Carolinensiel or take a round trip. The nearest stops from the holiday flat are at the bakery or on the beach. The train runs daily from 14 April to 31 October from 11.00 - 17.00.
In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the nearest restaurant and bakery. Here you can buy fresh bread rolls and delicious cakes in season.
In the centre of Carolinensiel you will find restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, banks, the harbour pharmacy, doctors (general practitioner and dentist), hairdresser and several shops for strolling, souvenirs, maritime gifts and everything for beach equipment.
In the season, the weekly market takes place every Tuesday at the museum harbour.
Of course, you can also walk the approx. 2 km to the centre of the village. There is much to discover along the beautiful Harle promenade, such as the view of the new "Seeperlen" (houses built on stilts), the "Harlesail" sailing school with taster trips, the historic sea rescue shed, the Friedrichsschleuse, Cliner Quelle (with swimming pool, sauna, fitness, wellness and restaurant), cafés, restaurants, the Siel-
harbour museum with old pastor's house and national park house.
Along the way you will find a number of benches to rest on, and you can also enjoy a fish roll from the coastal smokehouse in between.
The outer harbour of Harlesiel is also only a few minutes' walk from the holiday home. Excursions are offered there, such as to the seal banks. From the restaurant "Wattkieker", newly opened in 2014, you have a beautiful view of the harbour and the island ferries and, on a clear day, also of the East Frisian islands of Wangerooge, Spiekeroog and Langeoog. If you are lucky, you will meet the last active crab fisherman of Harlesiel in the harbour and can watch the fresh catch being unloaded.
Continue on to the sandy beach. Here you can rent a beach chair to relax in the sun, sheltered from the wind, or visit the recently completed "Wattengolf" adventure golf course. There are information signs at each miniature golf course explaining interesting facts about the Wadden Sea
During a walk along the beach promenade, you can enjoy the view of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site (note the tides) and breathe in the salty sea air.
Furthermore, Harlesiel offers a heated outdoor swimming pool and a sunbathing lawn.

Our most beautiful vacation rental
The location of the apartment has allowed us to take a beach walk at any time. 5 minutes from the sea.
The apartment itself is very cozy and tastefully furnished. The separation of the kitchen and living room has many advantages when cooking for oneself.
We felt very comfortable and will come back next year. Mrs. Schimmelpfennig is a very nice and attentive landlord.

Short break in the Scholle apartment
I have now been in the apartment "Scholle" for the second time, once with my granddaughter in March and now for a short vacation with my husband. The apartment is very nicely decorated and cozy. Everything you need is there and it is very clean. I also think the location of the apartment is great, you can walk through the garden at the back and immediately be on top of the dike. My granddaughter also loved looking out the window to see when the paddle steamer arrives. The jetty is right in front of the house. Anyway, I know that I would love to come back again. Many thanks to Mrs. Schimmelpfennig for this great apartment and the excellent service.

Holiday
A beautiful and modern holiday flat, which was furnished with a lot of love. We felt very comfortable. Mrs. Schimmelpfennig is a nice landlady. The house directly at the marina, a great location, near the beach, what more could you want. I can only recommend it.

Sehr schöne Wohnung!
Wir waren eine Woche in der Wohnung Scholle. Es ist eine sehr schöne Wohnung. Mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und herzlich. Zum Strand kann man durch den Garten gehen, den Deich hoch und schon ist man da. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und werden bestimmt nochmal in diese Wohnung gehen.

Urlaub in einer besonders schönen Unterkunft die keine Wünsche offen lässt.
Wir haben in der Ferienwohnung" Scholle " im Mai 2022 eine tolle Zeit verleben dürfen. Der Empfang durch die Vermieterin war herzlich und der Service super. Die Wohnung ist maritim und total liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Wir sagen noch einmal Danke, bis zum nächsten Mal.

Einfach phantastisch
Was wünscht man sich im Urlaub nicht mehr, als das Gefühl zu haben, zu Hause zu sein.
Genau dieses Gefühl bekommt man in diesem Haus bzw in der unteren Wohnung. Wir haben als dreiköpfige Familie dort eine Woche verbringen dürfen und waren einfach nur begeistert. Dies fing bei der sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung mit zahlreichen netten Details, der fantastischen Lage und dem schönen Garten an und endete bei einer sehr aufgeschlossenen, hilfsbereiten und äußerst netten Vermieter-Familie.
Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für diese tolle Woche und Ihnen Beiden weiterhin alles Gute. Man sieht sich immer zweimal im Leben :-)

Wohlfühlen- Wohnung ?
Mein Mann und ich waren das 1.und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal in der Wohnung!
Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und mit Liebe eingerichtet.Es fehlt an nichts!
Der Garten und die Terrasse mit Strandkorb machende Wohnung perfekt.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
Die Lage ist ideal: Strand,Spielplatz,Restaurant alles nahe bei.

Wir waren eine Woche im Haus Poseidon in der unteren Wohnung! Ausstattung
war sehr gut! Auch die Einteilung der Wohnung! Der Garten war vor allem für
Kinder zum spielen toll! Das Wattenmeer war für uns gewöhnungsbedürftig! Der
Stand war sauber und auch nicht zu voll!
Für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern zwischen (4 - 12 Jahre) ideal !

Urlaub im Haus Poseidon
Die Urlaubszeit ist ein Höhepunkt im Jahresablauf. Man freut sich darauf, plant und überlegt wie und was- und dann:" Hallo, hier ist Corona ! Ich reglementiere ab jetzt den Urlaub" Gezwungenermaßen musste man sich darauf einlassen. Unser großes Glück war, dass wir die Zeit in der tollen Ferienwohnung "Scholle " im Haus Poseidon verbringen durften. eine Wohnung in der sich, von Anfang an, Urlaubsgefühle einstellten. Es passte alles. Ob es die optimal eingerichtete Küche oder das Bad waren, oder die übrigen Räumlichkeiten. Man kam hinein und fühlte sich zu Hause. Ein hohes Lob an Frau und Herrn Schimmelpfennig. Sie haben mit dazu beigetragen dass unser Urlaub, in einer außergewöhnlichen Zeit, ein guter Urlaub war.

Tolle Ferienwohnung
Wir haben mit unseren 3 Kindern (10 Jahre,7Jahre und 11 Monate) 10 Tage Urlaub in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Lage ist top,direkt am Hafen gelegen und auch der Strand und ein großer Spielplatz sind in 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen.
Die Wohnung ist sehr modern eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts! Kinderhochstuhl,Kinderbett,Wickelauflage, sogar ein Spielteppich ist vorhanden. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und die restlichen 3 Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Das Duschbad war für uns ein persönliches Highlight!
Alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich! Die Vermieter sind wahnsinnig nett und sehr hilfsbereit!
Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!!!

TOP - immer wieder gern
Wir haben eine hochwertig ausgestattete, sehr saubere Wohnung vorgefunden. Es gab schon eine außergewöhnliche Grundausstattung an WC-Papier, Spülmaschinentabs, Kaffeefilter, Salz, Pfeffer, etc. Das braucht man schon mal alles nicht mitzuschleppen. Die Lage ist einmalig, direkt hinterm Deich am Yachthafen gelegen. Im nicht einsehbarem Garten kann man die Sonne genießen oder einen schönen Grillabend am vorhandenen Grill verbringen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben tolle Ausflugstipps. Der Herr des Hauses fährt den letzten Fischkutter im Hafen und hat uns mit frischen Krabben versorgt, einfach köstlich. Wir werden wieder kommen!
