What makes this villa special
Villa Axarquia offers everything that holidaymakers have always loved: a location that cannot be replicated and an outdoor area that makes your holiday an experience to remember. You will stay above the coast in a private, secluded location with sweeping views of the sea. During the day, you can enjoy the sun and the pool, and in the evening, you can soak up the classic Andalusian atmosphere: calm air, sweeping views, a glass of wine, no noise.
And yes—Villa Axarquia has even been featured on Spanish TV in 2025, including an interview with the owner, which we see as a nice confirmation of what guests appreciate most: the setting, the view, and the calm, well-kept atmosphere.
Outdoor area: holidays take place outside
The outdoor area is the heart of the villa: a spacious terrace, lounge areas, dining area and barbecue facilities. The pool with bench ensures a real holiday experience; it can be heated if required (at an additional cost). There are also several places to choose between sun and shade – practical and traditional at the same time: coffee in the sun in the morning, siesta in the shade at midday, dinner with a view in the evening.
Interior: comfortable, clearly structured
The house is organised in such a way that two couples or friends can comfortably spread out.

The living area is bright and designed for relaxed get-togethers. The kitchen is equipped so that self-catering remains stress-free – not overly luxurious, but functional, clean and suitable for holidays.

All around you will find typical Axarquía villages, viewpoints, local restaurants and markets. Those who like it traditional will love the region: wine, raisins, olives, small fiestas and honest gastronomy.

The Axarquía is known for its unique cultural landscape centred around Moscatel grapes and raisins. The region has been designated a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS) by the FAO – a true seal of quality for cultural heritage and sustainable agriculture. Villa Axarquia is located near Moclinejo in the hills of the Axarquía (east of Málaga). This location has been deliberately chosen: quiet, private and with a view, but at the same time positioned so that you can easily reach the coast, the city and numerous excursion destinations. If you want to experience Andalusia in its traditional form – with villages, agriculture, wine and olive culture – this is the perfect base.
Moclinejo & Axarquía – authentic Andalusia
Moclinejo is a classic white village surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and terraced slopes. The Axarquía is known for its Moscatel grapes, raisins, olive oil and wine. The surroundings are rural, down-to-earth and pleasantly unhurried. Many guests appreciate exactly that: peace and quiet in the evenings, clear air and a stay that is not characterised by noise or through traffic.
Rincón de la Victoria – your quick access to the coast
A major advantage of the location: Rincón de la Victoria is easily accessible and serves as a convenient ‘coastal hub’ for many guests for beach days, shopping and dining. There you will find a promenade, beaches, chiringuitos and a wide range of amenities including supermarkets, pharmacies and cafés. This allows you to enjoy the coast and the hustle and bustle during the day – and return to the quiet hillside location in the evening.
Beach & sea – close by, but not in the midst of mass tourism
Depending on the route and traffic, you can typically reach the coast in around 15 minutes. This means you benefit from short distances to the sea without living in the densely built-up coastal area. Many guests consider this combination to be a real added value: more privacy, less hustle and bustle, yet quick access to the beach and amenities.
Málaga – culture, shopping and cuisine as an option
Málaga is also easily accessible (usually around 30 minutes, depending on the route/traffic). This makes the villa not only suitable for a pure pool holiday, but also as a starting point for visiting the old town, museums, harbour, restaurants and shopping. You live in a quiet location – and have the city flexibly available as a day trip.
Excursions in Andalusia – ideal for day trips and round trips
The location is also excellent if you want to get to know Andalusia via classic ‘postcard destinations’. From here, Granada, Córdoba, Seville, Ronda and Gibraltar can be easily planned as day trips or longer day tours. Many guests combine beach days with 1–2 cultural excursions: historic old towns, Moorish architecture, viewpoints and culinary stops along the way. The advantage: after an eventful day, you don't return to the hustle and bustle of a city centre, but to the tranquillity of your private villa.
Mobility & arrival – transparent
A hire car is recommended as the villa is located in the hills. The last few kilometres are typically Andalusian: partly winding, narrower in places, but overall easily manageable. This road is precisely the ‘price’ you pay for the quality of the location: panoramic views, tranquillity and privacy are rarely found right on the doorstep on the coast – but here they are.

Pure relaxation !
if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the perfect place.
Breathtaking view at any time of the day or night. Very beautiful and tastefully furnished villa
The dogs were also very welcome and felt very comfortable.
Absolutely recommendable .....we will definitely be back :-)

Grandiose view over Rincon to Malaga
Grandiose view over Rincon to Malaga and over the sea, sometimes you can even see Africa.
Fully equipped kitchen, several coffee machines, 2 large bathrooms, one with shower and tub. Clean, bed mattresses heavenly, from the beds you can look out to the sea. Terrace huge with several seating areas, irrigation system for plants. Pool is regularly checked by the owner
