The property is 8500m² in size. The upper part (²) is fenced. The terrace between the pool and the house is about 200m². From there you can admire the sea of lights of Málaga or watch the cruise ships entering the port. A large lounge couch, a dining table for 8 people, 4 sun loungers and a small table are available in the outdoor area. The pergola provides additional sun protection for shade on the couch and an awning for the dining area. A barbecue is also available.
The pool has an interesting shape. There is a bench built into the curve, so you can enjoy your glass (with plastic cup of course) in the pool there with the view. The size is about 10 x 5m. The view from the pool is breathtaking. If the view is good, one can see Africa. In normal view you look at the Mediterranean, Malaga and the gorge with wine, olives and almonds. The pool is at ground level to the house. The pool technology was renewed in 2019. All functions of the pool can now be controlled via the internet. The pool light can be adjusted individually. The pool does not use chlorine.
The view from Villa Axarquia is phenomenal. One looks at the bay of Malaga and Rincon de la Victoria. At the same time, one looks down a ravine of vineyards, olive and almond trees. At night, one sees the sea of lights of Malaga. The view is described in many travel guides. If the view is good, you can even see the African coast. From the entrance of the villa you have a beautiful view from the mountain La Maroma (2065m), the highest mountain of the Axarquia and the village Moclinejo.
In the living room there is a large corner couch and a coffee table right by the fireplace. From there you can enjoy the view of Malaga and watch TV (German channels), listen to music (CD, DVD, MP3, I-Pod) or watch movies (Apple TV, Soundbar). Under the stairs there is an additional toilet and a cupboard with games. The shelf wall contains hundreds of books.
The dining room consists of a large wooden table with 6 chairs. The table is expandable for a total of 12 people. The room is next to the open kitchen and forms a unit with the living room. The dining room is normally only used in the winter, as otherwise you dine outside. From the dining room there is access to the terrace. There are views of the Mediterranean and the garden from all the windows and sometimes Africa. New panoramic windows were installed in 2019.
There are 2 bedrooms. One has a large built-in wardrobe with a safe. The access of the large bathroom is directly at the bedroom (en-suite). The bed is 2x1,80m. The mattresses have just been renewed. In addition, there is a fold-out double sofa bed in the room. Here could sleep for example 2 children. A small desk with an armchair and a table with 2 armchairs is also here.
The other bedroom has a Japanese double bed, a built-in wardrobe and 2 bedside tables, each with a lamp. The bedroom also has its own bathroom, which is directly off the bedroom.
The view from the beds in both bedrooms to the nature, the sea, Malaga and Africa is breathtaking. The photos can only give a small impression.

Moclinejo is situated 20 km. from Málaga, between the "Cerros de Córdoba" and "Piedra Blanca" at 450 metres above sea level in the beautiful Axarquia on the hills of the Piedras Blancas and opens onto the river valley of the Benagalbón. It is surrounded by olives, almonds and wine. It is one of the typical Andalusian villages. Tourism is still a foreign word here, although it is only 10 minutes from the coast, it has kept its Andalusian charm. From here you can make wonderful mountain tours in the hinterland, whether on horseback, on foot, by bike or by car. Coming from Rincon de la Victoria, you reach Moclinejo by a beautiful road with wonderful views. It is only 8 km to the beach.
The area around Moclinejo, like the whole area of the Montes de Málaga, is characterized by steep slopes and numerous ravines. The land is dry, rugged and very steep.
The name probably comes from "Moclin", Arabic for "square of land".
Moclinejo is on the "Raisin Road" ("La Ruta de la Pasa") and is sometimes called the "Gateway to the Raisin Road". Raisins, wine and grapes are the main products of the area.
Typical local dishes are "gazpachuelo" (soup with mayonnaise) and the garlic soups known as "sopa de maimones". Local muscatel wines and raisins complete the gastronomic delicacies of Moclinejos.
Moclinejo is 451 metres above sea level. Its buildings give the impression that more has been built here than just roads. So they seem a bit scattered, and that's why the streets are steep and short. The rectangular main square, where the town hall is located, is spacious and has been modernized. The history of Moclinejo went through the same vicissitudes as Málaga and the surrounding villages. In the old city walls, the so-called castle, of which only the name is known, there was a battle cry that led to the defeat of the Axarquía when the Catholic Monarchs tried to conquer Málaga.
The cultivation of the raisin grape was declared World Agricultural Heritage by the Scientific Committee of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in November 2017.
Villa Axarquia has a fantastic isolated location. A concrete road for up to the villa. The village is 700m away, the old town of Malaga 25km, the beach 12 minutes, the golf course 8 minutes and the airport 30 minutes
Most impressive are the views of olive, almond and vineyards and the Mediterranean Sea all the way to Africa. Last autumn, the grapes of Moclinejo became the first agricultural product in Europe to be declared "World Agricultural Heritage" by UNESCO. You are in the untouched nature and feel the vastness of the land. It is very child-friendly. What can you do?

if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the perfect place.
Breathtaking view at any time of the day or night. Very beautiful and tastefully furnished villa
The dogs were also very welcome and felt very comfortable.

Grandiose view over Rincon to Malaga
Grandiose view over Rincon to Malaga and over the sea, sometimes you can even see Africa.
Fully equipped kitchen, several coffee machines, 2 large bathrooms, one with shower and tub. Clean, bed mattresses heavenly, from the beds you can look out to the sea. Terrace huge with several seating areas, irrigation system for plants. Pool is regularly checked by the owner
