"MeerLust" is guaranteed in this comfort holiday home, renovated in 2020 and located between Büsum and St. Peter-Ording in Dithmarschen. It is located in a quiet holiday home settlement of colourful Scandinavian-style wooden houses - directly behind the dyke. The natural beach with a small children's playground is only a 5-minute walk away. Relax in the excellently equipped and light-flooded house with wood-burning stove, on the spacious, covered terrace with beach chair or in the garden with cosy deck chairs.
In the carefully equipped fitted kitchen with freezer and refrigerator combination, microwave and dishwasher, you can cater for your physical well-being. The 3 bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom with sauna, the cosy play and retreat corner on the hemst - all this provides the setting for an unforgettable holiday, whether as a couple or with the whole family, whatever the season.

Location and surroundings of object
Wesselburenerkoog is a small settlement in the district of Dithmarschen directly on the North Sea coast midway between St. Peter-Ording and Büsum, 2 km south of the Eider barrage.
The house is situated directly behind the dyke. At the foot of the dike, on the side facing the sea, there is a tarmac foot/cycle path along which you can go on cycle tours and walks for miles along the coast. Wesselburenerkoog is the ideal starting point for an active holiday at the North Sea: Conveniently located - 18 km to the motorway - there are many different ways to organise your holiday:
A day trip to Hamburg - perhaps with a musical? Sometimes to Husum or Friedrichsstadt with a canal trip, sometimes a trip to the Baltic Sea coast - Glücksburg, Flensburg, Kiel, to the Vikings in Schleswig, sometimes to Denmark ...
Excursions by ship? Helgoland, Pellworm or crab fishing and to the seal banks.
Or pure nature from the front door:
Bicycle tours, hikes, nature experiences in the Wadden Sea and Katinger Watt - you're almost right in the middle of it!
Or on the move in a sporty way:
Sandy beaches, Büsum, St. Peter-Ording, kite flying, surfing, kite surfing, wave pools, golf, kilometre-long bicycle tours on the dyke, horse riding - everything is possible. .
Or, finally, a holiday to relax:

Fresh fruit and vegetables, also in organic quality, are offered near the holiday home settlement, also directly from the farm. In nearby Wesselburen (8 km) there are various supermarkets (Rewe, Netto, Aldi, Edeka) and you can go shopping in Heide, Büsum and Husum.

Family holiday
We have positive experiences with both the holiday home and the landlords. The hygiene and cleanliness in the house were perfect. The equipment in the house is extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable. Many brochures for trips to St.peter Ording, Büsum, Eidersperrwerk. Thank you for the beautiful house. we will definitely be back!

perfect accommodation for active people with kids
Kitchen fully equipped (rare to see in this way), nothing is missing. Lots of storage space in the rooms. Very clean and well-maintained. Sauna perfect for the end of the day, we used it daily thanks to the short warm-up time. The nearby Deichkate made it easy for us not to cook ourselves (very good value for money). However, the bathing beach is only partially suitable at high tide and has a very gradual slope. (Better go to a sandy beach, we were in St. Peter-Ording) But ideal for mudflat walks and overall hikes or bike tours. In the house, we found numerous ideas and tips for this. A small playground is also nearby, where our two seven-year-olds could also go on their own, besides flying kites and watching sheep. Beautiful sunset! Caution for teens: withdrawal symptoms may occur as the reception is not great.

Very relaxing family vacation
Playground right outside the door, the sea just a few steps away, and the holiday home so cozy, we would have liked to stay here a few more days. Never seen such a flawlessly clean accommodation. Beds, dining area, and sofa so comfortable. Overall very tastefully and thoughtfully furnished. Almost wishing for bad weather to be able to enjoy the sauna and sofa :-) Our daughter was able to learn how to ride a bike here superbly due to the great, peaceful paths around the house. The contact was very uncomplicated and friendly. We will definitely come back!

100% Feel-Good Vacation
We have had only positive experiences with both the holiday home and the landlords and the local property management. Despite Corona, it was a completely relaxing holiday. The hygiene measures and cleanliness in the house were impeccable. The equipment in the house is extremely comprehensive and leaves (especially in the kitchen) basically no holiday wishes unfulfilled. Very thoughtfully, you will find, for example, many storage boxes (e.g., for on the go), various pots, bowls, pans, etc. (just like you know it from home).
We traveled with a 10-month-old baby and felt very comfortable.

Deserves more than just a short break.
A very well-maintained house, thoughtfully equipped even in small details, helped us have a very pleasant short vacation. We could relax, cooking together was enjoyable with this equipment, and the way to the North Sea is short.

We have lovingly furnished it and equipped it with everything that is essential for a successful holiday. Cleanliness, cosiness and comfort are particularly important to us. We always like to come back and check on things ourselves.
