Description
Our house was lovingly renovated in 2019/20 and extended with a large dormer window. The cosy, bright living room has a sitting area with a wood-burning stove, cable and satellite TV. The large, modern kitchen with dining area, induction cooker, combined microwave, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator with small freezer compartment offers comfort and space for socializing. The two bedrooms are in the developed Two bathrooms with WC, floor-level shower, towel and underfloor heating are located on the ground floor and first floor. The beds are equipped with 90cm wide mattresses of different degrees of hardness. A back-friendly tempurature mattress is also available. The large, enclosed south terrace is partially covered and offers excellent wind and privacy protection. The garden is completely fenced in. A free WLAN access is available. To the house belong 2 car parking lots. The house is a non-smoking house.

Our cosy holiday home Anker, with its large dormer window, is situated on the sunny island of Texel, in the north near De Cocksdorp in the holiday park De Krim in a quiet peripheral location. A supermarket and restaurants are located 5 minutes walk from the holiday park De Krim and the nearby De Cocksdorp. Children's playground, climbing park, riding facilities and golf course are located in or directly next to the holiday park. Tickets for the adventure swimming pool De Krim can be purchased on the Internet, depending on the occupancy rate. Texel is, as the westernmost and largest, part of the Frisian island chain in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. Seals, rare species of birds, free living horses and cattle are as much a part of the island as a leisurely walk along the beach or beach holiday. From star- or beach restaurants to cosy or lively shopping streets in the various towns on the island, beachcomber museum, seal breeding station Ecomare, bird-watching tours, horse-drawn carriage rides in the Slufter, tea breaks in a gallery in Oosterend and much more (see also our information folder in the house), Texel offers something special for every age and personal taste. Happily playing lambs next to beautifully blooming tulip fields in spring, bathing holidays on extensive beaches in summer, walks on the beach, in the dunes and wooded areas followed by a cosy evening by the fireplace in autumn and winter, every season on Texel has its own special charm.

Feel-good house
Very well-equipped house, where we lacked nothing. We were there as a family with 2 adult sons and a dog for 1 week in the fall. The kitchen is very well equipped, everything was top clean. In the evenings, you could sit comfortably by the fireplace and sleep peacefully at night. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back.

We are completely thrilled with the lovingly renovated house. There is a lot of attention to detail in it, and the equipment is high-quality and new. It has a large and bright kitchen, which is unusually spacious for Dutch standards. All bathrooms and rooms are clean. The garden is completely fenced, which is important for us as dog owners. You can start or end the day well on the terrace. The landlords were always there for us, and they had an open ear for all our questions. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
