Description
Our vacation apartment is located on the upper floor of an old village house. Leave the "Bäderstraße" at the "Fischlandtor" towards Dierhagen-Dorf, and about 250 meters past the Fischlandtor ("Achtern Tor" precisely), you will have reached your holiday home. The apartment is about 80 square meters in size, consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (toilet, shower), living room, dining area, and kitchen. Your vacation apartment offers enough space for you and your loved ones. There are 6 sleeping arrangements and an additional baby bed. One bedroom has a double bed, a second bedroom offers two single beds, and the third bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed, very popular among children. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances. There you can prepare your own meals or you can enjoy North German cuisine in one of the original Dierhäger restaurants. Meals can be enjoyed in the cozy sitting area or on the small balcony of the apartment. So then: Welcome to the holiday apartment "Achtern Tor". Spend a unique beach holiday on the Baltic Sea, fish in the fish-rich waters, and hike or bike through the great nature of Fischland.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday flat is located in Dierhagen-Dorf between the Bodden and the Baltic Sea beach. After a 5-minute walk you reach the idyllic Bodden harbour. In summer, a "Sommerfrische" market takes place there twice a week. And every morning you have the opportunity to buy freshly caught fish directly from the fishermen
You can reach the white Baltic Sea beach on foot in 10 to 15 minutes or by bicycle on well-developed cycle and hiking paths. The distance to the beach is about 1.5 km
Very good shopping facilities are available in the immediate vicinity (approx. 200 m) in the "Fischlandtor" shopping centre. There you will find a supermarket, discount store, drugstore, bakery, fish pavilion, savings bank, bicycle rental, ice cream parlour and hairdresser. On the beautiful peninsula of Fischland-Darß-Zingst at the extreme southern tip, the Baltic seaside resort of Diehagen is situated in a particularly beautiful location between the Baltic Sea and the Saaler Bodden. The surroundings are characterised by sandy beaches, coastal forests, dune landscapes, protected moors, wide meadows, forests and reedy Bodden shores. Dierhagen is a place that has retained its charm. The family-friendly place offers recreation in a healthy mild climate and also invites to sportive and cultural activities. Excursion destinations for the whole family include the Oceaneum in Stralsund, the port city of Rostock and the Marlow Bird Park. To the west of Dierhagen is the kilometre-long white beach of the Baltic Sea. There you can experience the unique spectacle of the sun sinking into the sea every evening. The sandy beach invites you not only to sunbathe and swim, but also to walk, play and do sports. To the east of the village is the Saaler Bodden, with its small harbour and typical Zeesen boats. For centuries, the cranes have been flying into the Bodden landscape on their way to their winter quarters. From September to the beginning of November they dominate the sky and, depending on the weather, they return in February or March. Guided walks, whether by bike on foot or Nordic walking, are offered until October. And the little ones don't miss out either, they can really let off steam on various playgrounds and enjoy the Dierhagen children's programme, not only on the beach.

Everything fits here..
We have been here a few times now and everything has always been great. The landlord is nice, the neighbours are all nice and there's nothing to complain about the accommodation. You can have a relaxed holiday here. There is a kitchen and dishwasher, so you can cook for yourself. The sauna is also excellent and a must-have in the cold season.
We will come again

Super holiday flat
We booked the flat for three adults and four children (including a baby). The flat is very well equipped, we didn't want for anything
The kitchen had everything you needed to cook for yourself. It was also very clean
The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. There was a cot for the baby, which we liked very much.
We found the living room very appealing and cosy
The bathroom was also very clean and spacious. We didn't use the sauna as we had great weather. However, it looked very high quality.
The overall impression of this flat is very positive. It was very clean and spacious. It was also very nicely decorated. There is love in the details here.
We can recommend the flat and will definitely rent it again.

Very beautiful vacation apartment
I can't judge anything negative on the contrary. We were very positively surprised by this vacation apartment. It is very large and spacious. The neighbors were also very nice.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to use the sauna that is built into the apartment because we were out and about a lot.
The surroundings are beautiful.
Can be recommended with a clear conscience.

Great vacation apartment in a beautiful location
A truly beautiful and well-equipped holiday apartment where you can find everything you need. The highlight is, of course, the sauna that comes with the apartment. :)
The apartment was also clean and modernly furnished. We really appreciated the option to store our bikes in the secure garage.
From the apartment, it was just a stone's throw to the Bodden (lagoon) and also within walking distance to the Baltic Sea beach, or quite quick to reach by bike. The nearby shopping options, restaurants, and good transportation connections rounded off the whole experience.
We, a family of 5 (2 adults + 3 children), can recommend this apartment without hesitation.

Super holiday residence
We didn't have luck with the weather, but the holiday apartment is great. Everything you need is here. Arrive and feel good is the motto. It's best to bring bicycles and lock them in the garage - then you can explore the beauty of nature on Fischland. And if the weather is beach-friendly, Dierhagen is the right place to be! We will come back!!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Dierhagen-Dorf ist ein idyllisches Fleckchen und die Ferienwohnung ist mitten drin.
free time activities: Hier kann man so viel unternehmen, man muss sich nur informieren, was alles geboten wird. Einfach mal im "Haus des Gastes" erkundigen.
shopping facilities: Einkaufzentrum Fischland Tor ist zwei Minuten entfernt und in der Saison auch Sonntag geöffnet. Frühstücksbrötchen sind also immer gesichert.
