Wonderful place to relax

We were able to spend a wonderfully relaxing week in the lovingly furnished old farmhouse. The house is cozy and equipped with everything you need. The house is super clean and well-maintained. The rental process was very friendly and uncomplicated. We felt very welcome. We would love to take another break in this beautiful house and the great natural surroundings.

Cozy house in a beautiful environment

We spent a week at Maison la petite Vallée and enjoyed it very much. Everything you can imagine in terms of equipment is there. It is clean and we were greeted by Patrice with a bottle of wine. A wonderful holiday...

As with all unknown destinations, one is very curious about the "first impression". But the tension changed into absolute relaxation after our arrival. The house immediately radiated a great cosiness. Werner's welcome did the rest. After his friendly greeting, he showed us around the flat. We were simply thrilled. Everything was clean and everything was there....When he presented us with a well-chilled bottle of "Muskat - Coeur de Cru", we almost forgot to put our things away. Great reception!
On Sunday we also met Miche`l.
The holiday was packed with a daily changing programme. There was a lot to see and marvel at. This accommodation is absolutely to be recommended (a pity that I can "only" give 5 stars).

Summer holiday at the Alsace - Vosges border

Everything you need is nearby - bakery and affordable restaurant with great food in the village. Supermarket not far away.

Many small old towns and Colmar as well as Strasbourg are quickly accessible.

Hiking trails with all difficulty levels are available.

Great in every way!

We had a wonderful week in the holiday home and felt completely comfortable. We liked everything: the charm of the old and very well-kept house, the stylish and cozy furnishings (there was really nothing missing), the beautiful garden, the wonderful and quiet location, the very nice neighbor, the nature, and also the villages in the immediate vicinity. Even in high heat, it is comfortable here as the house stays pleasantly cool. So if you want to relax and unwind or go hiking and also want to meet two very laid-back and lovely landlords, then Maison la petite Vallée is the right place for you. Cozy holiday home

We were looking for a vacation rental in Alsace for five adults over New Year's Eve and found Maison la Petite Vallée! A stroke of luck!
It was already well heated upon arrival, and with the small wood stove, it became even cozier.
The kitchen equipment is sensational and exceptional for a vacation rental. The rest of the furnishings are very tasteful as well. Everything fits and you can see that the landlords put a lot of effort into the renovation and place great importance on the well-being of the guests. Unfortunately, we were only there for a short time, so we couldn't try out the many tips for restaurant visits, hikes, and trips. However, we would love to come back!

We felt very comfortable at Maison la petite Vallée. The flat is lovingly furnished and you feel right at home. The kitchen and bathrooms lack nothing and there is plenty of reading material and information about Alsace. The house is a good starting point for walks in the surrounding wooded hills and for trips by car to Sélestat, Colmar or to the numerous castles in the region. We felt comfortable in the attic apartment from the first moment. It is lovingly and cozy furnished. We lacked nothing. We were grateful for the good tips from Michele and Werner (restaurants, shopping, wine recommendations). We could make beautiful hikes directly from the house. Colmar, Sélestat, Kaysersberg, and Strasbourg are easily accessible by car or train. And returning in the evening and enjoying a glass of white wine on the cozy patio in front of the house is simply pure joy.

Holidays with a nostalgic atmosphere

We were very warmly welcomed by the two landlords, a bottle of Muscat was already in the fridge. Thank you very much Michél and Werner. The house is located in the middle of wonderful nature, the street in front of the building does not disturb as there is no through traffic. By car or bicycle, one can quickly reach larger towns for shopping. The apartment itself is decorated very lovingly and with great taste. We have never encountered such a well-equipped apartment anywhere, nothing is missing, even a lot of books to read are available. The mattresses of the beds are good, terry towels and dish towels are provided. We greatly appreciated the cozy seating area in front of the front door in the evenings, as well as the detailed written guest information about restaurants, recommended wine merchants, etc. The photos of the apartment absolutely correspond to reality. We simply felt comfortable.

Wonderful stay in a charming apartment.

It is a wonderful holiday apartment over 2 floors, which leaves nothing to be desired. It is very quiet and a car is very useful for shopping and excursions in the surrounding area. There is even a suitable Michelin map on site. Hiking is possible from the front door or there are hiking maps and route suggestions for other tours. Colmar and Strasbourg are easily accessible, as well as Col de la Schlucht. We enthusiastically used the tarte flambée oven, as well as the dishwasher. Even our teenage daughters felt comfortable (thanks for the Wi-Fi password). The contact with the landlords was great. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Super Ferienhaus

Very beautiful and especially lovingly furnished holiday home in a very quiet location. Various hiking trails right outside the front door. We had no problems at all with our dog (Irish Setter), not even with the local residents. Having a washing machine in the house was also great.

The photos on the landlord's website are 100% accurate (no photo tricks). Extremely friendly landlords! Inquiries in advance were answered extremely promptly and satisfactorily. I can only recommend the house and would love to book a vacation here again.

House and restaurant recommendations

Our holiday is coming to an end.
We enjoyed our stay in your house, apart from the intrusive shower curtain.
You have very professionally summarized what is rarely found in such detail in a vacation rental in your guest information.
We had been in the neighboring valley in Fouchy for a week before and were already familiar with some of your restaurant recommendations.
Your "regular haunt" was only open on our first day of arrival. But it wasn't really bad. The Medieval was open on several days over the two weekends. The grill menus are definitely recommendable. The chicken coop would be on our list of non-recommendations. The sparse chicken dishes did not really meet our expectations. Breaded chicken from a fryer and chicken fondue with three store-bought mayo dressings are not on the level of Alsatian cuisine as we know it. The Sauloch with the wild boar dishes was excellent. Another great recommendation was the Wendling restaurant where we went several times. Very well-seasoned and tastefully served dishes with good service. We were already familiar with the Sommelier restaurant from before. We always like to go back there. At this level, I would recommend the Auberge Metzger in Natzwiller to you. The journey there has never disappointed us. It's not much further from Carbes than to Bergheim. Another recommendation in Riquewihr is the "Au Trotthus" with a fantastically coordinated Asian touch. Be sure to inquire beforehand, as the opening hours are somewhat unclear. Unfortunately, most of the other recommendations were closed a week before the start of the French holidays. Since we are often in Alsace, it is quite possible that we will book with you again. The holiday apartment is a real recommendation even for guests with dogs. A very clean stream flows directly across the street.

Super Tipp für mobile Elsassentdecker

My friend and I spent two wonderful weeks here last summer. The house is lovingly furnished and very well equipped - you really don't need to bring any equipment yourself. There is plenty of space on the two floors of the lower apartment. Above that, there is another apartment and potentially direct holiday neighbors. We were lucky with the weather and could make good use of the private outdoor terrace. We often used the grill, but unfortunately, we didn't get to use the house's own tarte flambée oven. The landlords Michél and Werner greeted us very kindly and are happy to provide valuable tips for the region. The house is located in the middle of nowhere, between green hills and next to sheep pastures, etc. Perfect for someone who wants peace and enjoys hiking. The only downside - but that's complaining at a high level, the house is located right next to a road. It is indeed very small, but despite being remote, it is quite frequently traveled. So, you often wave to locals in bikinis from the sun terrace. ;)

And one must know that getting around without a car is not easy. Once we took a walking tour to a nearby restaurant, which took one hour each way. That was perfectly fine for us because we enjoy exploring the area by foot. However, for any further explorations, a car is definitely needed. With bicycles, one can already get a bit further. Only public transportation does not run so frequently and the routes are not well connected.
The Alsace region around the holiday home offers a lot of culture and history. Almost every day, we went to a different hill to a castle or church, or to another valley to a cute wine village. Fantastic! Dear Michél and Werner, we felt completely comfortable and highly recommend this holiday home for mobile Alsace explorers. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Great feel-good holidays

We (4 adults) were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable at Maison la Petite Vallée. The apartment is spacious, with a perfectly equipped kitchen and a cozy living area. The two bedrooms and an additional toilet with a sink are located on the upper floor (steep stairs) and are tastefully decorated. The windows face the street, but the traffic is minimal and not bothersome. Outside, there is a grill and a flammkuchen oven available, including... two seats to linger. Within walking distance, you will find a bakery and a restaurant. The location is not suitable for public transport users only. Nevertheless, we highly recommend this beautiful accommodation in the green area!

Great location to explore the Alsace region between Strasbourg and Colmar.

We felt completely comfortable in the main apartment. The house corresponds absolutely to the pictures on the internet. We were welcomed very kindly with a gift from Mr. Michél Greco and provided with addresses and tips. The house is well equipped, things for daily use such as toilet paper, kitchen roll, cling film, dishwasher tabs, tea bags, etc. were at our disposal - this is not always common. There is also plenty of literature. Including many tips for excursions in Alsace. The detailed hiking maps were also great and we used them several times. We did two longer hikes starting from the house. Otherwise, we explored the area within a radius of up to 60 km.

The house is a good base for exploring the area between Strasbourg and Colmar. Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, and Kaysersberg, along with Colmar, are among the picturesque towns in Alsace. If you want to take a spectacular hike with great views, you should definitely go to Lac Blanc. The round trip involves parts of the Route des Crètes. On the website "Alsacez-vous," the approximately 16km hike around Lac Blanc is described as circuit des lacs / no 3 - breathtaking views! Our bicycles, which we could safely store in the cellar of the house, were used for a tour from Molsheim to Strasbourg along the Canal de la Brûche. The Wi-Fi connection worked very well, so the limited mobile phone reception - only on the other side of the street one could get up to two bars, as the house is located on a hill - was not a disadvantage.
In Lalaye, you can eat well and abundantly at the Hotel "Diette". The suggestions of the hosts are also recommendable. Moreover, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen is a lot of fun. The supermarket in Villé is not huge for French standards, but still well stocked. We can and will gladly recommend the "Maison la petite vallée" and wish the two owners many nice holiday guests.

Holiday with adult children.

We spent a wonderful week with five people in the two apartments. We cooked in the lower kitchen, which was perfectly equipped - a delight for every hobby cook. Nice vacation

We spent 2 weeks of vacation as a family with 2 children in this beautiful holiday home in a fantastic surrounding. The house is tastefully furnished and the kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired. We were warmly welcomed and everything was lovingly decorated with flowers, we immediately felt very comfortable. The house is located in the most beautiful nature, a stream gurgles right in front of the house, the crickets chirped in the evenings, and the air was wonderful. From Charbes, we went on great excursions every day, explored the places along the wine route, visited Strasbourg, climbed castles with the children, and above all, ate delicious food. There are many shopping options in the neighboring village, for example, SuperU, and a small bakery in the village. The people are all very nice and helpful. We can highly recommend this holiday home.

Wundervoller Urlaub in der Natur

My friend and I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Charbes. I had rented this apartment for myself, and my friend had the rooftop studio next door all to herself. So we were together, yet each on their own. The house (both apartments) are wonderfully furnished, tasteful, and cozy. Nothing was missing. The kitchen equipment in this apartment is great, ranging from many pots, pans, roasting pans, cutlery, and various cooking spoons, spatulas, etc., to beautiful tableware: soup bowls, large plates, small plates, dessert bowls, many glasses, tea sets, espresso cups, and much more. This way, one could make oneself comfortable and cook and dine with pleasure. The landlady is very friendly and helpful; we were welcomed with flowers in the living room and homemade jam, as well as good tips for shopping (e.g. SuperU or organic farmer).

We particularly enjoyed the various seating options in front of the house, depending on the position of the sun, a different spot was taken. The little brook mentioned on the landlord's website does flow nearby, more precisely, directly across the meadows from the house, murmuring all day and babbling along - great for cooling your feet when it was hot and soothing for those seeking relaxation.

I can highly recommend the house, it offers plenty of space, even for families (with young children), you feel at home and don't have to do without any comfort. The area is beautiful. You can go for walks directly from the front door or, of course, drive around by car.
