The renovated stone house is located in a group of houses near the medieval village of Camaiore and the sandy beaches of the beautiful Versilia coast. Here you live in an original oil mill from the 19th century. The oil mill has been extensively restored in detail and transformed into a romantic domicile. The mill wheel is in the sleeping gallery and you can now relax in style in a jacuzzi in one of the former olive oil basins. There are more millstones/wheels in the spacious living room with terracotta floors and seating areas. The wonderful terrace invites you to a hearty breakfast and a long barbecue evening. "Bello" is welcome. A low stream babbles right in front of the house, but it is mostly dry in the warm summer months. Enjoy relaxing days on the fine sandy beaches of Lido di Camaiore, only 25 minutes away by car. You can taste good Tuscan specialties in two restaurants nearby. A group of few rustic stone houses with a typical Italian atmosphere surrounded by hills with forest and meadows and a panoramic view of the nearby mountains. Numerous charming, characteristic villages, such as Greppolungo or Metato can be reached via winding roads.Extras included: 1 bottle of wine on arrivalActivities nearby: The lively town of Viareggio (60,000 inhabitants) offers a palm-lined promenade to stroll through, elegant shops, a large market on the Thursday (household + clothing) as well as a daily fish and vegetable market. The well-known marina is also worth a visit. In the evening, the artists' town of Pietrasanta is a popular meeting place with numerous trattorias. Visit Lucca (28km), the medieval town with narrow streets and high city walls. You should plan a day trip to Elba (140 km + 1 hour ferry from Piombino). The island flair will enchant you. Very nice accommodation right by the stream. The landlord is absolutely friendly and the landscape invites you to fall in love. Suggestion: Large cars are not really useful here on these narrow roads. The local restaurants are highly recommended. The accommodation is only suitable for 2 adults and possibly a child. Attention: Mosquitoes are keen on fresh blood!

Great location, house cool and humid. After a good airing it was better. Big disadvantage that your phone has no range. House was complete and equipped with a good bed.

Great apartment with an extraordinary atmosphere (former oil mill) - the photos give an exact impression of the apartment. The hosts are very nice and accommodating and have prepared the apartment with great attention to detail. The domicile is in a quiet location, but is very centrally located. It is very close to the town of Camaiore and in about 10 to 15 km you are in Forte dei Marmi or Viareggio. The property also offers a spacious parking lot. If we vacation in this region again, we will book the apartment again.
