Activities nearby: Vieregge, a tranquil little fishing village, lies directly on the Breetzer Bodden lagoon in the northwest of the island of Rügen. It is part of a chain of lagoons within the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park. Here, thousands of cranes rest in autumn, creating a spectacular natural phenomenon. The lagoon is an ideal area for all kinds of water sports and is also highly valued by anglers. Just a few kilometers from Vieregge is the Schaabe, a 12-kilometer-long spit of land, whose fine sand makes it one of Rügen's most beautiful beaches. Opposite Vieregge lies the island of Hiddensee, which can be reached by ferry from Schaprode. The island's famous sights, such as the chalk cliffs, Granitz Hunting Lodge, and the white town of Putbus, can be reached by car in less than 45 minutes.

We had a very nice stay in the holiday home overall. The location is wonderfully quiet and the view of the lagoon is simply lovely! The house was very clean upon our arrival, with one exception: the baby bed was unfortunately completely dusty, which is of course a shame for families with small children. Additionally, the bed arrangement did not quite match the description – instead of the indicated two single beds and one double bed, there were only two large double beds. On the terrace, one can enjoy the sun from noon until sunset. However, we missed a sunshade here, as it can get very hot in the afternoon. Otherwise, the house is super equipped, and everything needed for everyday life is really available. A stair gate in the upper area would be a great addition so that small children cannot accidentally fall down the stairs. Thank you for the lovely time!

The location is ideal for outdoor activities! We enjoyed kayaking in the Breetzer Bodden and hiked in the nearby national park. The cabin itself was very comfortable, and we felt well taken care of by the hosts.

Our stay was beautiful and relaxing. The cabin was spacious, with a great layout for our group. The terrace was perfect for enjoying breakfast outdoors. The only downside was the weather, but we made the best of it!

We really enjoyed our time at Ferienhaus Poseidon, The interior was cozy and inviting, and we felt right at home, The nearby beaches were a highlight for us, Definitely a hidden gem in Rügen!
