Activities nearby: Vieregge, a tranquil little fishing village, lies directly on the Breetzer Bodden in the northwest of the island of Rügen. It is part of a chain of lagoons within the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park. Here, thousands of cranes rest in autumn, creating a spectacular natural phenomenon. The Bodden lagoon is an ideal area for all kinds of water sports and is also very popular with anglers. Just a few kilometers from Vieregge lies the Schaabe, a twelve-kilometer-long spit of land with fine sand, considered one of Rügen's most beautiful beaches. Opposite Vieregge is the island of Hiddensee, which can be reached by ferry from Schaprode. The island's famous sights, such as the chalk cliffs, Granitz Hunting Lodge, and the white town of Putbus, can be reached by car in less than 45 minutes.

We first had to descale the coffee machine, buy dishwasher salt and a plug for the sink. There was a grill on the terrace

The house is cozy, the beds are decent. A kettle would have been nice in the kitchen, as would a teapot, but you can also boil water for tea in a pot. Unfortunately, we had a lot of stress on the first day with the bed linen and towel service we had booked. The packages hadn't arrived yet and were unfortunately only delivered late, around 10 p.m. Nevertheless, we had a few relaxing days with our two dogs, who also felt very comfortable in the garden and had enough space to run around.

Beautiful house to feel comfortable in, but dirty windows, mattresses, and stains on the walls from squashed mosquitoes. In the kitchen, a large bowl for salad is missing, and the pull-out trash can system under the sink is broken, so it tips over when opened.

The house is very nicely located. But unfortunately the final cleaning was inadequate. The windows in particular are quite dirty. That can be done better! We were here in September 2023 and we were more satisfied with the cleanliness.
