Vacation in the smallest house in Neukalen: Lovingly renovated half-timbered house in a small side street in Neukalen, a small town on the Peene. Your holiday home is modernly furnished and perfect for couples looking for a break together. Neukalen is located directly on the beautiful river Peene, which flows just a few kilometers further into Lake Kummerow. The small town was first mentioned as Altkalen in 1174 and has been called Neukalen since 1306. Accordingly, you will find historical sights such as the circular settlement planning in the old town or the parish church of St. John from the year 1318. There are various restaurants and inns to stop off and also plenty of shopping opportunities for self-sufficiency.Highlights included: Usage-based energy costs, bed linen, towels and final cleaningWLAN activities in nearby: Bring your bikes and enjoy the approximately four-hour bike ride around Lake Kummerow. You will not only discover the charm of the slightly hilly landscape of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Be sure to also take a break in Malchin. In addition to the beautiful market square and the remarkable German avenue, numerous monuments, churches and a museum await you. Fans of canoe and kayak tours should do a tour on the Peene, here every holidaymaker goes into raptures when they can explore the mostly untouched nature from the water.

The holiday home offered a comfortable stay in a quiet environment. The house is cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities such as a well-equipped kitchenette and a nice living space. We appreciated the proximity of cycling paths around Lake Kummerow, which provided for a lovely day out. Although the house itself is small, it was more than enough for us. All in all, a practical choice for anyone who wants to explore the beautiful surroundings without hassle.
