Newly renovated apartments in a family-friendly holiday complex, just 50 meters from the natural beach. A children's playground with swings, rocking animals, table tennis, foosball, a trampoline, volleyball court, sandpit, and climbing frame provides entertainment for young and old. A tip for anglers and excursion-loving guests: boats – with and without motors – are moored directly on the natural beach and can be rented on site to explore the lake.

Sommersdorf is located south of Demmin on the eastern shore of Lake Kummerow. The Mecklenburg Lake District and Lake Kummerow Nature Park offers a landscape with a particularly high recreational value. While hiking and cycling, you will discover impressive relics of the area's eventful history and a diverse range of flora and fauna.

Nearby activities: You can rent bikes directly on site (for a fee) and, for example, take the approximately four-hour bike tour around Lake Kummerow, which not only takes you through the gently rolling landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District, but also through the town of Malchin with its beautiful market square and along the scenic German Avenue Road. Fans of canoeing and kayaking should take a detour to the Peene River, where every vacationer will rave about exploring the largely untouched nature from the water.

An ideal place for a family getaway! The kids had a blast with all the play equipment, and we loved being so close to the beach. The apartment was well decorated and had a nice kitchen for preparing meals. We would definitely come back!

This place has the whole vibe! Just 50 m from the beach, perfect for lazy days and sunset photos, the playground is great for kids, and the apartments are super cozy. Definitely a great spot for families or even for a trip with friends.
